Me? Just a typical c/kdrama enjoyer, totally obsessed with those heavy angst plots. (Had a massive kdrama slump for years, but 2024 has me getting back to my roots lol)

My very first kdrama was Dream High, which I stumbled upon on our local TV (2012), dubbed in my local language. Although I found it entertaining and got me into kpop. I didn’t get seriously into kdramas until 2016, beginning with Doctors (sadly I dropped it lol) but 2016 was such a golden age for kdramas, with so many iconic series airing that year, which just kept fueling my interest—and I’ve been hooked ever since.

As for cdramas, my first was A Love So Beautiful, which I watched when it blew up in 2017, followed by Love 020. But since I was more focused on kdramas, I didn’t really keep up with cdramas after that. It wasn’t until this year that I got hooked again, thanks to The Double. Now, months later, I’m really enjoying period/historical dramas and keep asking myself why I’m only getting into them now!

I'm all for shipping fictional characters

But shipping real-life actors? Nah, that's just too weird for me.

I used to rate some of the older dramas I watched way too high. I legit got shocked scrolling through my watchlist and seeing dramas I rated higher that definitely deserved lower.
