The main character's a so passive except when the hubby is cheating that is or the household heads are dictating orders.
And I just hate that meek looking yet mouth yapping stepmother. Making the child miserable and the weak dad unable to protect his child and even have fun with her.

Bo Tong always trying to protect and help Ma Te gets herself into trouble.
Sweet David Always there jumping in to help the damsel in distress. While Ma Te is also doing his share. Is she a lucky girl?
The spoiled brat that thinks she'll always get her way that anything and anybody can be bought like any piece of goods. Bratty, Bratty Girl...she just got nominated for The Best Female Bratty Award of 2014.

Right off the bat in the first episode he's not there. I'm watching the drama for him. I hope we get more of him as the drama develops.
Mom and the kids and all the things they go through each day breaks my heart. My respect to all the one parent families. You are heroes!!!

Will she always get what she wants?...She destroys the lives of everything she touches including her own children. This character is really disgusting and gross. It's her way or the highway.
I feel sorry for her children...which if they don't get wise, will never be happy. She wants to marry him off to the one she pleases after destroying his first marriage. Crazy witch, using her blood pressure to get what she wants. Tae Won is such a sweet, considerate person. A great dad too. His weak point...his iron willed mom.
Oh Eun Soo unhappy first marriage and unhappy second marriage. Poor girl in both controlling in-laws to the point of lunacy.

So sad to see Lee Ji Ah sacrificing her life in a chaebol family...where she is the wife and a servant. She has to live her life as the elders dictate.Running to the door when they come in and catering to their every needs.
Even leaving her daughter (from her first marriage) behind.Seems to me she left one hell (not because of hubby) to fall into another hell hole. Hubby #2 is a two timer. What a reward for her sacrifice.

It breaks your heart to see two people that obviously love each other part because of her in-laws...a terrible woman.
She is even losing her daughter...giving her up...to her ex-hubby. Because her daughter wants to live with him. Since he has been present in her life constantly.
I also understand the girl...she sees her mom rarely and is afraid to love her and miss her...the girl is protecting herself, her emotions. She doesn't want to show her emotions...her love for mom...mom might not come back or come as often. She already thinks her mom abandoned her.
Mom's heart is breaking so are the maternal grandparents that have been taking care of her up till this episode.
Auntie always speaks her mind...raw truth at that.
The story line is sad and sometimes cruel...but it's a 50 episode drama...anything can happen. This is just warming up.
The funny part...the vet that says yes to any woman yet gets cold feet at the last moment. I think he loves someone else.

I almost gave up on this drama...found it lacking in many ways...was not capturing my attention. Just watched it because actors Kwon Sang Woo and Joo Ji Hoon were the main leads. The story line...boring.
This episode makes up for the rest...it was interesting...a lot of things happening, tender scenes and was worth the wait. Glad I didn't drop it.
Joo Ji Hoon really made me cry in this episode...how much he loves his messed up Mom.
Great Actor you feel his mourning and he touches my heart. Dr.Seo Joo Young thank you for taking care of Dr.Han Seung Jae.

It has great actors...the roles for my taste...crummy...the story line ain't doing it for me either. Am watching this for Kwon Sang Woo. The first Korean actor I ever saw in the drama "Stairway To Heaven" and have been following his career since then.Also for Joo Ji Hoon...love his work too. But am about to commit hara-kiri with this drama. It's my personal opinion no offense intended, it's just not doing it for me.
Still waiting to see if it gets better...haven't given up yet! I still have hope.

I really don't like what Park Bok-Nyeo did in this episode.Their real mom is dead and although it hurts...the family has to move on. I find too cruel what she is doing in order to get her message across. When you think one thing is resolved another problem comes up.
Come on...the sister-in law is too much...she has feelings for you know who...and is doing stupid things. I don't like her character at all...the clumsy (foolish,blunt,nitwit)the always gets things wrong auntie. She can't even see director Lee Dong-Sik that is constantly buying at the store to get her attention. She has eyes for only one.
I'm feeling sorry for the kids right now.

While her daughter is suffering because the kids at school say she is an orphan because she doesn't live with mommy or daddy. Her mommy is in another household, her second marriage catering to the needs of her hubby's family, her expression of bliss...I can't believe it!
