This is a lovely story ultimately about fated love that overcomes all obstacles. The plot moves a bit slowly at times, but this feels more like a reflection of the times than a defect. This film really seemed to make a serious attempt at portraying the mood of the era and how various interpersonal behavior and ways of speaking among people of different ranks, etc. would work in that time (even came across despite my not speaking Korean). As with any Joseon Era plot set in the palace and involving the king, it is full of intrigue, plots and counterplots, but the story also contains a spiritual and magical element that makes it very poetic. My one issue was the adult female lead. After such a gorgeous and charismatic child actor, the adult lead seemed somewhat plain and ordinary, which was jarring. I also think her acting did not match that of the others actors. She had a heavy burden to carry, in that she presumably motivated the undying and passionate love of two men, but was unable to pull it off. Instead one was left having to male a leap of faith on this. Perhaps because of this the chemistry seemed somewhat lacking. Due in part to plot line as well as time period, this show is very light touch on physical shows of affection (especially in all those clothes), adding an extra challenge to pull it off based on more subtle movement and facial expression. Male lead did a creditable job but female lead was lacking, even in the physical moments. Otherwise really good performances all around, many interesting characters with their own fully fleshed out backstories and character development, and the gripping plot made it well worth watching.

Note to a few reviewers who thought ending didn’t make sense: remember the fable at the beginning about two suns and two moons, even referred to by shaman later in show to illustrate how applied specifically to the actual story and characters.

I am sure that “Girls Generation” Choi Soo Young brought many of her fans to this drama with expectations to see something that would make the heart flutter. The first 7 episodes were typical K-drama fare---nothing out of the ordinary on the menu, but what you did like was the gradual change of heart that Hoo Joon (played by Choi Tae Joon) was having toward Lee Guenyoung (played by Choi Soo Young).

It was not until episode 8 when Hoo Joon finally confessed his feelings to Guenyoung and actor Choi Tae Joon showed us all (and boy did he 😊) that he really knows how to kiss a woman. From the moment of that kiss at the end of episode 7, it was like the drama went into overdrive and someone had slapped a jet propulsion pack on the backs of the audience. The love story shifted into high gear, and it was an incredibly fun and enjoyable ride to the very end.

The three things that I loved most about this drama were: 1) The fierce approach that Hoo Joon had in his displays of affection for Guenyoung. Every time he kissed her you got the feeling that he was thinking to himself “I am going to KISS you (Guenyoung) REEEAL GOOD!!!! You will know that you've been kissed and it will never be confused as an accident”. I just loved it !!!! I also loved Guenyoung’s girly responses to many of their sweet moments together. 2) Hoo Joon was not just a boyfriend to Guenyoung but he became an honorable man. Who couldn’t be in love with this man and/or respect him highly when he sincerely put his career on the line to protect his friends and Guenyoung. I was so proud of the transformation of Hoo Joon and the reveal of his strong character and unswerving love for Guenyoung. 3) The extremely happy ending. It was an ending that encompassed reflection, forgiveness, reconciliation, repair and finding new directions and new places. And then there was the absolute SWEET proposal for marriage that Hoo Joon made to Guenyoung followed by that signature kiss of Hoo Joon's to the woman that he so loved. I can hear the girls squealing in the crowd and the guys with wide smiles on their faces thinking---“Now that’s how you do it!!!”

The official soundtrack was also deep and varied in the amount and type of songs played but it was splashy and fun, with great lyrics and great beats, and they all brought a lightness and happiness to the whole drama.

A note of caution to those who have not seen this drama yet: The periphery stories of Jae Joon and In Hyung felt like bad side dishes through most of the drama and most of you will really hate the character of Jae Joon, but it all worked out lovely in the end---you’ll see.

This was one of the rare K-Dramas that I wish they would make a Season 2. I know Choi Tae Joon and Choi Soo Young both have significant others in their real lives but these two really had some amazing chemistry with each other on-screen. I really believe that if they did not have other people in their real lives that what we saw on screen would have been even hotter 🔥🔥🔥. This started out as a 7.5 and rocketed all the way past 10 into the stratosphere 💙💚💛💜

What makes this show so special?

It's really not your typical Cinderella story, where an unattractive (???) girl gets a makeover and suddenly the man she likes, swoons over her. It's a realistic and believable portrayal of the struggles a person faces in realizing what makes her beautiful to herself.

With a trend of female hating female existing in K dramas, Ha Ri and Hye Jin's relationship is serious friendship goals. Though they see a few downs in the show, they still support and love each other regardless. Their friendship is goals and absolutely adorable. Jun Hi played the role of Ha Ri really well and I loved her chemistry with Hye Jin, she was really cute and I wish she was given more screen time at the end of the show.

I also, loved how Hye Jim's transformation was not too drastic. She was already gorgeous, but she simply tidied herself up more and did what she did, not because of a man, but because of her goal. It was awesome seeing her back to her old self, showing how she truly accepted herself by embracing her looks and Jung Eum was absolutely a treat to watch! Her comedy skills were mind blowing, she is a wonderful actress.

I have had waay too many second lead syndromes than I can count. However, most crack by the time the respective dramas are ending since these men are either made to be less cooler than the first leads / turn out to be evil / their screen time is taken away from them. However, Reporter Kim - Choi Siwon was incredibly charming, I am not the one saying it, look at the comments lol. Reporter Kim was a total clown, annoying and to others he looked like a wacko, yet he cared a lot for Hye Jin. Even till the end, he did everything to stop Hye Jin from crying. Not because he expected her to come to him, but because he genuinely wanted her to be happy. Even Deputy Chief agreed that he couldn't do anything, so everyone agrees that the second lead was much better, how many shows do we see with such realistic writing?

*Spoiler*

A lot of people, give Deputy Chief flak for being obsessive about his childhood friend Hye Jin and call him a loser. However, I would like to disagree since without knowing the real HJ he became attached to her and started loving her. To him, whether she was HJ or not didnt matter, since he came to truly love the beautiful person he met and spent time with. This is the strength of the story line. Also, Park Seo Joon played the role really well! From a rude Deputy Chief to a doting, clumsy, cheesy person, he made us accept the result of him being first lead. I loved his acting much more than Hwarang and if you want to watch him in more shows, watch Fight My Way, Kill Me Heal Me and a few others!

So, in short. This show deserves to be seen. It's now in my top list of K dramas because it's an extremely refreshing, realistic and funny show. Do give it a watch, you won't regret it!

Its a very cute one. They had great chemistry with each other. I loved there cuteness and playfulness they have as a couple. I liked that it had a bit of a mystery to it. The story of them switching body's when it rain that was Kool how they did that. I really liked how they both grew from loving each and each of them became a better person. It's was very Kool that they did have a gay character and they were was kinda of a mystery to his character, and kinda bad guy vibe to but a big softy on the inside. I like the second couple as well it showed that u really do need to be able to talk with each other instead of jumping to conclusions. The 3 couple was just to cheesey for me. It's a really good tv show I do recommend this

This is seriously one of the most entertaining dramas I have ever seen (and I've seen more than I can even remember). It was seriously my perfect drama. I never got bored, every episode was really interesting and had lots of things going on so I was always super excited to watch.
I can't even put into words how much I enjoyed this drama, it was just great. I especially loved the characters, and how unique and interesting EVERY SINGLE ONE of them were, which in my opinion is very hard to find in a kdrama.
I never wanted to skip any of the side storylines however short or long they were, because I was genuinely interested in every single bit. Other dramas often have parts I don't enjoy as much as the main storyline so I often skip those parts which makes me feel bad but I just don't enjoy them, however this was probably the first one that I didn't skip a single bit of, not one second.
I actually had been wanting to watch this show a while back, but I thought it would be slightly uninteresting and I had others to watch first with 'more interesting storylines' but holy hell was I wrong. This was seriously great. I really think the amazing writing, acting, camerawork etc. all added up to just make a really great and enjoyable tv show. I loved that it made me think about the cases and evidence and what would happen next, and unlike most kdramas, I was guessing what would happen next rather than just knowing "oh he's gonna do this and that will lead to this" which is usually the case and is so repetitive in dramas. 'Pinocchio' is just freakin awesome to be honest.

lol I like how I said at the beginning that I couldn't put it into words - well there you go.

Ahh where to start? I have mixed opinions on this drama. First of all, I did read the webtoon, but I didn't want to spoil the webtoon by watching the drama first nor spoil the drama by reading the webtoon first, so I read/watched simultaneously. I shouldn't have worried: the two are vastly different. You won't give much (if anything) away by reading/watching one at a time, they are that different. I liked the female characters better in the webtoon, and the male characters better in the drama. I couldn't relate or feel sympathetic for Shihoo in the webtoon but Lee Jong Hyun's portrayal of Shihoo in the drama ripped my heart out and stomped on it a few times. The main male lead Jae Min was even more likeable as played by Yeo Jin Goo than the webtoon version. I know some would disagree with that but here's why I feel this way: To me, Jaemin in the webtoon was almost bipolar in his actions. Hot and then cold (back and forth from the extreme of being a complete stalker to not being able to stand the thought of Ma Ri) at the slightest provocation. I felt the extremes in his behavioral swings were unrealistic in the webtoon, but the drama dowplayed the extreme-ness a little bit, making the character of Jaemin more realistic. The downside of this was that he appears to have less noticeable character development during the course of the drama. Straight up comparing his first episode behavior with his last episode behavior you can see a change, but over the entire drama it's barely noticeable. The webtoon Ma Ri as well as her various friends and enemies however, were all so bland in the drama compared to the webtoon. Ma Ri for example was more bold and plainspoken in the webtoon, but in the drama she was not like that until the end; in the beginning she was a timid, shy, and cowering. I don't have a problem with a female character who isn't loud, bossy, and outspoken personally so it didn't bother me. I'm not one of those females who looks down on other females who have a "quieter" personality, but I'll admit that for the sake of dramatic effect I liked the dynamic of Ma Ri's don't-care attitude in the webtoon and kind of missed it in the early episodes of the drama. I liked the storyline of the drama better than the webtoon, especially the addition of the historical backstory, though it was a bit disconcerting to be watching a modern highschool drama for 4 episodes, then a historical drama for 5 episodes, then a modern highschool drama for the last 3 episodes. Halfway through the historical episodes I wondered if I was going to remember the modern storyline well enough to know what was going on when they switched back. Thankfully there were flashbacks to help reorient the viewer to the modern storyline so that wasn't a problem. If you don't like historicals, you could probably skip episodes 5-9 and still not be *too* lost for the ending. A happy ending, for most of the characters, by the way.
I will warn you that the comments on this drama were exceptionally obnoxious. Repeatedly asking if the comments are a live chat. (No but wouldn't that be nice, then the annoying comments would actually eventually go away.) The people (there were so many of them) who somehow missed that JaeMin is the male lead (HOW do you even miss that?!) and thus is destined to end up with Ma Ri, and decided that if they whine and complain loudly and obnoxiously in the comments then Ma Ri will wind up with Shihoo instead... They even went so far as to bully and hate on the young actor Yeo Jin Goo in the lowest and most classless manner as though being hateful would change the story. Then there are always the perverts who just say gross things for no real reason, and those who spend endless portions of the drama arguing about what other Korean celebrities the actors each supposedly look like. If you are a Drama-Vampire then keep the comments on, you'll love it. If you'd rather watch it in peace however, I suggest you hide the comments. ;)

I never thought I would enjoy a long drama so much! The cast is fabulous, they’re impeccable actors, it sure makes you feel all sorts of feelings. So many reasons to watch: several romances, cute and funny scenes, heartbreaking and relevant stories, true family life, many lessons (one example: it’s never too late to continue your education), some mystery, hope, true love life, and so many other reasons to watch...

I disagree at times with how mom selfishly only thinks about how she’s feeling after her kids divorce. I just wish she would once ask why and try to understand (I skipped a few of her crying parts because of this). I do understand that as a mother you want them to be successful and in a stable relationship, but it should be a healthy relationship. I feel awful for her kids when they go through so much but she can’t seem to connect to their feelings. Dad seems to do a better job with that. But anyways, Mom will surprise you in the following episodes. The character development of each character is amazing! So definitely loved it! I binge watched 56 episodes, then I watched the rest waiting desperately for every weekend!

Such a great drama I've ever seen... If you are reading my review then I'll strongly recommend you start watching it immediately... It has such a unique plot and Park Bo Young carried the acting well enough... She was just superb in her acting of a girl with different personalities in different times... The ghost was too cute... If all ghosts were that cute, I would've never been scared of any ghosts... 😁 And also I loved the plot of how a ghost changed the whole life of a girl. I wish if I could meet that kind of ghosts too... Lol...

Now coming to the actings...There was no overacting at all..Each and everyone in the whole team played well. Also, the fact that they were been able to see the girl who acted as the ghost in real life but, acting as not able to see her was great. I loved all the chef's acting very much. Especially the sous chef was so charming in his talking and he always cared for Bong Seon like he was her brother.

Oh! By the way. When I started watching this drama I was just so startled to hear the name Na Bong Seon again as it reminded me of Do Bong Soon from Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. And also I've become a big fan of Park Bo Young's acting after that drama.

So that's all about my review..If you are reading this then again I'll tell you to watch this drama even if you don't believe in fantasies. And lastly, remember:
YOU ARE LOVELY
I AM LOVELY &
THIS DRAMA IS LOVELY
LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY..💜

I really really love this drama.
my favorite kdrams of all the time.. the lead couple was just awesome with their chemistry😍😍 its a simple plot about a one night stand and how the couple meet after years and girl pretend that she don't remember anything from that night . but the entire story was awesome .

Spoiler plot:Jin-wook and Yoo-mi meet at a Gangwon-do resort and get caught up in a series of misunderstandings and accidents. Yoo-mi is there to attend her mother's second wedding while Jin-wook is there working as a bellhop (a position given to him by his Chairman father to teach him responsibility.) Yoo-mi is charmed by Jin-wook's sly and playful personality, and they unexpectedly spend the night together. However, Yoo-mi disappears in the morning, leaving Jin-wook feeling perplexed and insulted.

Three years later, the two meet again when Yoo-mi becomes a nutritionist at the company cafeteria where Jin-wook works. It seems that once a playboy Jin-wook, has given up his carefree life and works at the company owned by his father. He has feelings for Yoo-mi and has kept her bra-pad as a memory of the night that they spent together. At first, he is strict toward her, though it is only because he is looking for reasons to be near her. He later confesses this to her and agrees to wait for her.

During the three years, Yoo-mi's mother has had a second child, Dong-Goo, who is now three years old. Upon looking at Dong-Goo, Jin-wook's father, the Chairman, mistakes him as Yoo-mi's son, not half-brother. The Chairman tells Jin-wook, admonishing him for having a child out of wedlock with a nutritionist. After finding this out, Jin-wook believes that he has wronged Yoo-mi and warms up to her, seeming to accept Dong-Goo as his son. The misunderstanding is eventually cleared up but Yoo-mi gets upset at Jin-wook, accusing him of being with her only because he thought he had a child with her. Then enters a pretty girl, Joo Hye-ri (Jung Da-sol) who is deemed a "suitable" wife for Jin-wook. Yoo-mi's writer friend, Jung Hyun-tae (Jae Young-kim), is shown to have a secret crush on her. With all drama revolving around main characters' mothers, Cha Jin-wook and Lee Yoo-mi finally manage to keep their love strong, while also resolving their personal problems with their parents.

The drama ends with Hye-ri "traveling together" with Hyun-tae and Yoo-mi and Jin-wook attending Yoo-mi's mother’s re-wedding and Jin-wook saying "Today is D-day. Do you know how much I've waited for this day?" and Yoo-mi replying "Me too."

A drama that I think was created by the writers to really make the audience think about what we think about beauty and how we treat people who we think have it, and how we treat those people who we think do not have it. The characters in this drama really speak. Mi Rae gives insight into the deep pain and hurt of those who have suffered rejection, abuse, and torment from the prejudice and cruel behaviors of ignorant people who reign down hateful comments and behavior on people who look very different from others. The character of Do Kyung Seok is the exemplar of what a true friend is and how a boy can love a girl completely, honorably, and benevolently and not just because of her looks. Do Kyung Seok is the hope that we should all have in regards to what true love should be and how it should behave. Soo Ah shows us how the pursuit of beauty can go badly wrong and can cause self-infliction as well as social drama by employing undermining behaviors on others to maintain high status among peers. The drama does a good job in showing just how ugly, demeaning, and disgusting it looks to objectify women as only sex objects. Finally, I think the writers delivered an overarching message that seeking only to be beautiful on the outside is superficial compared to being healthy and well on the inside. Do Kyung Seok, Soo Ah, and Mi Rae were the three most beautiful characters in this story in regards to their physical appearance, yet they are the ones that had the most issues in regards to their own happiness and health----more so than any of their peers.
Due to the complexity of the topic and the many messages that I think the writers were trying to convey, the drama has a very slow start for those who are looking strictly for a good romance story; however by the half-way point of the series, the romance part of the drama kicks into high gear and I binged watched the last 8 episodes. This is a drama that has a satisfying ending and a great message.

I want to take a moment to say how proud I am of Im Soo Hyang who I first saw in the drama "Five Children". I loved her role in that series and I thought she was a wonderful young actress who I felt would only get better as she would eventually receive bigger and more complex roles. She did not disappoint in her performance as a female lead in a K Drama and I will continue to follow her career. Finally, I would like to say how much I loved the actors who played the parents for the character Mi Rae; they were realistic in their emotions for each other and for their daughter and so loving with each other and funny together. I also have to give a standing ovation to Park Joo Mi who played the mother of the character Do Kyung Seok. What a great performance she delivered. Her character was someone who truly exemplified beauty both outwardly and inwardly. Her character would also be the best example of someone to emulate in life because she became successful through hard work, determination, and keeping her values and integrity intact. She managed to find her success and regain the trust of her children in spite of the many obstacles, scars, disappointments and regrets that she faced.
If you can get through the beginning episodes spent on laying a foundation for the multitude of messages and stories lines that needed to be developed, then I think you will enjoy the second half and the ending. At the end you will have an overall feeling of contentment and gratification for having watched the show.

Ji Chang Wook is a megastar in South Korea, beloved by many fans and rightfully deserving of fan admiration because of his great talent on screen. The downside to being so immensely successful in many consecutive projects such as "Healer", "K2", "Suspicious Partner"..... is that you begin to expect that everything that this actor will be involved in will be "blockbuster" in nature. And so my expectations going into this drama were extremely high and hopeful for another "award-winning" "knock-it-out-of-the-park" "sweep-my-heart-away" production. Unfortunately, this drama was marred with an overload of poorly written comedy which failed miserably at being humorous or entertaining. There were too many characters in this drama that were just too juvenile, cartoonish, and moronic which caused the intended humor within the drama to fall flat and become clownish and absurd. Most importantly, in my opinion, farcical humor is counter-productive in establishing an appropriate context for a serious and great romance.

At the halfway point of this drama I had hope that a turning point had occurred. I felt that in episodes 8 & 9 their chemistry began to ignite, the romance burners were turned on, and they began to heat up the screen quickly--- their affection for each other begin to feel real. The back-against-the-wall-kiss that led to the shower scene in episode 10 will go down in K-Drama history as a HALLMARK act of romance that has not been seen before on the K-Drama landscape. Even with their clothes on, it was a RED-HOT & STEAMY scene!!!!!🤩👿💏👍. It certainly led one's imagination to other things which is why the scene was so, so, sensual. Episode 10 will go down in the K-Drama history books and fans will talk about that scene for years to come.

It is a shame that the writer of this drama could not have capitalized on the momentum that was building in episodes 8--10. It looked more than promising, but then the drama began to regress and struggle again and although the last episode was fairly well written, it seemed out of place and disjointed with the previous material. "Melting Me Softly" is simply my least favorite drama in Ji Chang Wook's body of work. I would not watch this drama again and I could not in good conscience recommend that anyone invest 16 hours of their time to watch something that was so sub-par in substance and painful to endure.

I hope the best for Ji Chang Wook and Won Jin Ah in the future and hope they will get better material and have another chance to show the world just how good they really are. Unfortunately, this drama did not give them the opportunity to really shine as the bright and talented stars that they are.

I loved the drama. It had a pretty crazy story and some cliche things and scenes. However we can ignore those in favor of the interesting plot and great chemistry between the main leads ( the main lead was freaking great and so was the second male lead) At first the male lead was rough and cold hearted but later he turned into such a romantic. Honestly in these kind of dramas when suddenly the cold , jerk male lead falls in love and turns all cute , I find that a little cringy but it didn't happen in this case. The male lead softened all right but it didn't went out of his character and was soooo romantic. I loved the way how he would never let anyone touch his things except the girl unconsciously. It was damn cute.
Another thing I loved was the later segment when the boy had amnesia. Usually I find this particular twist extremely irritating because let's face it, it's not easy to develop amnesia. You don't get it just by a simple hit on the head or a surgery. Besides when you say memory it contains so many elements visual input, touch, smell, hearing , our feelings , muscle memory, habits etc. That's why it's not so easy to erase so many things which is obviously ignored in the dramas. HOWEVER IT WASN'T IM THIS ONE. I loved how he kept feeling a huge part was missing. He became confused when by habit he went to her office. He couldn't remember a single thing but still he found her by his instincts. Even when he saw that pendent on another girl he became confused. He felt he knew the pendent but felt uneasy about the person. He even saw her face first when waking up still he didn't confused her with the female lead ( THANK GOD) He kept trying to tie the loose ends.
About side characters , I really loved the second lead, his girlfriend and the main lead's uncle.
The second lead was freaking handsome and I loved how he slowly fell for her. The most touching thing was he even conquered his fear just to be with her. He was so afraid of death. He hated even mentioning that. However for the female lead he started to believe in ghosts , helped her ( tried to cheer up a ghost 😂) , even secretly went to cemetery at night to protect her (awwww he is too good😭) .
The second lead' s girlfriend was also good. I loved how she didn't turn into a negetive character. She was jealous but she was not hateful. She taunted the main girl but when needed also helped her. It was good to see her happy at the end.
The aunt and uncle were also pretty good. At first I thought it would a typical case where the relatives will try to sabotage the whole thing. However it turned out the aunt really loved her nephew so was just trying to protect him. She never did any outrageous thing though. Most hilarious was the uncle. He reminded me of our typical close relatives who stir up trouble and reports about us to our parents however when needed supports and tries to help us😂. It was great.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this drama. There were many funny moments, some were downright hilarious. The lead female actress is rough around the edges and clueless at times but when the story unfolds, you can’t help but forgive her, and the main male lead, for what they both went through. Even the doc who I thought was so annoying for awhile but he got a pass for being a good person. It was refreshing that all the main characters in the story are good people. It’s a story about confronting the past, forgiveness, love and friendships, and looking forward not back. If that’s what you like in a drama, you’ll enjoy this one!

Such a sweet story of first love. ♥️ But melodramatic too.
Okay, this was in the beginning such a sweet story. (No spoilers ahead, just the premise) The girl has really no underlying reason to dress up as a boy. But finding herself recruited to be a eunuch the first alternative is to escape. The second one is to fail the tests and be kicked out. But "the flower scholar", the only person she knows at the palace find her amusing and wants her to stay so he keeps helping/sabotaging her efforts and therefore she's stuck in boys clothing at the palace. A sweet drama begins with a little palace intrigue thrown into it and love of course.
But then.... BAM... I was hit in the head with more sadness and melodrama I was expecting. I usually never watches anything too sad/melodramatic because of personal reasons. But it ends well and when I'm writing this, several months after I watched the whole drama, I don't have any bad feelings to it or any scenes that still makes me upset. So that gives me the conclusion that the dramas level of angst are probably okay for most people.

The actors are absolutely wonderful. Park Bo Gum as the crown prince hypnotized me with every move he did and every smile was like arrows trough my heart. This is the first of his dramas I've seen and he's really a charismatic actor that oozes sincerity in his acting. The kind of actor you go: "-Wait what, was he in that drama, are you sure?" Just because you were so convinced of the character that you forgot the actor playing it.
Kim Yoo Jung was obviously good as the female lead, she shines in every work she does. She is also one of those actors that work with everything she has and never feels stuffy or weird.
Their chemistry makes me hope for another drama with them.

I would recommend this drama and I have rewatched the cute parts several times. They still get to me because they are so pure and sweet

PRETTY SPOILER FREE, DON'T BE SCARED TO READ, I STOPPED MYSELF AND ONLY SHOWED WHAT WAS IN THE LITTLE RECAP

I couldn't stop thinking about this drama, even after months of watching it. So, here I am, writing my very first review after dozens and dozens of dramas. 'Cause it deserves it. PLEASE, IF IT FEELS BORING IN THE FIRST EP, DONT STOP WATCHING, IT GETS SUPER ADDICTED, AT LEAST WATCH 2 FULL EPS!!!

You see, I saw this as a recommendation around half a year ago, and I watched the first episode and lost interest.

Worst decision I've ever made.

I continued watching after I saw a review praising it when I was looking for something to watch. And boy were they right. Here are their, and my, points.

-Great Acting
Okay so Ji Sung (Cha Do Hyun) is as amazing actor. He had to go through so many embarrassing situations with his multiple personalities. From the romantic scenes with Hwang Jung Eum to acting as a teenage girl. He did it so well at that! All of his personalities, so different, but he performed very, very well. If you were to cut to a random scene in episode ten where he acts as someone in his 40s, you would right away believe he was in his 40s. He's extremely talented and, honestly, this drama shows it off the best where he has to act as 7 different people.

He is, in my opinion, the best actor. From what I've seen, and his believability. And I've seen a crap load of k/c/t/j actors.

Hwang Jung Eum, of course, with her experience, is in my top 5. She's believable and she made me cry multiple, or a million, times.

-Chemistry
Okay, so this couple. lemme talk about this couple. THEY HAVE SUCH GOOD CHEMISTRY
Literally, I can't watch another drama with Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum without being disappointed cause literally they're so good.

They have the best chemistry out of all of the couples I've seen in Kdramas.

-Lovable Side Characters
You have to see the drama to get this one, but I grew extremely attached to all of the personalities. I've cried for all of them. Even the funny ones have a dark past for their existence.
and, of course, hwang jung eum's brother in this drama (he was in the What's Wrong with Secretary Kim drama) is very good. he's AMAZING, i cried for him. he's great. love him.

-Even Those Who Don't Like Romance Dramas Love It
I get really bored with just Romance. This drama actually has sooo many funny moments. I sometimes look at a Rom Com and think "where the hell's the com part? did it jump off a cliff?" but this one didn't miss out. you really love the couple
on top of that, it's super duper suspenseful. How the personalities appeared, when they'll appear, it's all so much suspense. They do so well with revealing it in a way that blows your mind.
EVERYTHING ALSO MAKES A TON OF SENSE AT THE END, MINDBLOWING FOR REAL

I recommend not leaving comments on (one of the buttons on the top row of the video screen, top right, right across from the comments) cause viewers love to give spoilers. I got spoiled a lot. Don't read comments on dramabeans recaps and ish. It'll ruin it for you.

Negatives:
Hwang Jung Eum in the beginning, and throughout the drama might get kind of annoying for you cause she focuses on the rom part more than the suspense until the very end, where she gets pulled into the mix.

Relationship part might annoy you.

You might not like it when a certain hot personality appears, or you might love it, idk but the entire audience loved him. (I fell in love with a certain 17 yr old brother, he appears l8r on, he gets a whole ep to himself. youll know. he's hot. glasses. )

There's really no negatives I can think of, it's so good.

STILL THOUGH TURN COMMENTS OFF IT RUINED EVERYTHING SO MANY TIMES. DON'T EVEN TURN IT ON TO CHECK IF EVERYONE'S RESPONDING TO A MOMENT CORRECTLY, IT'LL RUIN YOU JUST DON'T
ALSO THE SUBBERS DID SUCH A GR8 JOB, THEY SUBBED IT SO WELL, YOU GRAMMAR NAZI'S WILL BE SO PROUD CAUSE SOME DRAMA SUBBERS ACTUALLY ARE AN ACTUAL MESS BUT THESE GUYS AREN'T THANK YOU 7 DIMENSIONAL TEAM!!!
