This is an understed movie. Have been wanting to watch this movie for a while but couldn’t find the right source to watch it. Finally My heart is happy. Such an amazing true story. My first time watching Ju Seung Woo acting, have heard about his amazing acting, love his sweet voice, subtle facial expression, finger movement, eyes looking. I am pretty sure he won best acting award, if not I would be so disappointed.

Talking about mother’s love. Many autism parents give up on their autism child, didn’t treat them As humanly. People tense to bully autism kids. Society didn’t treat them respectfully. As far as I know, autism kids can be heartheaded. As soon as they set their goal, with proper guidance, with their unbelievably memory, they can excel.

I almost had some tears in my eyes at the end. The OST is partly causing it. The mother struggling, uncertain what is best for the child, naturally wanting to protect the child but the child had his mind set.

A must watch movie.

Due to Coronavirus lock down, I started to watch Chinese movies again. Randomly pick this movie to watch. First 15-30 minutes, I thought it was a webcom childish movie, but Bai Bai character starting to develop. She should win the best acting award on this movie. She showed all the human side emotion in this movie. I will be Starting to follow her and watching more of her movie. Not many actress willing to shave their hair all off. Not many actress willing to have ugly hair. She looks good regardless.

This movie shows love from different direction. We live to experience love and life, regardless how long and how short our life is. I have to take a deep breath after the movie to think about my own life if I really live ot to the fullest yet. Her message to the viewers is very strong. She touch people life. Her energy, fantasy, smile, caring and some craziness, touch people heart.

Surprise no review. It is black & white but oh boy., I laughs and I cry. The songs the soldier sing kept repeat in my head. Not sure if it is a true story but they are so sweet. It show how disgusting the war is, but the solders are so united, so full of emotion and very sweet. I have watch this several times and its really touch my heart. Really worth watching. Everyone need to watch this movie at least one in their life time.

I normally don’t like war movie, but this is not typical war movie. It is very touching story. The soldier have very sweet voice, they will certainly capture your hearts ? ❤️

All the review and commend were positive. So what are you waiting for. I chose to watch this movie after watching “My Annoying Brother”. I want to watch more Do Kyung Soo movies. Wow, from TaKwando to Tap Swing dance. He is my new favorite Korean actor now. No doubt.

I was a little puzzle at the ending, inside me wishing the old man with the cane is Roh-Ki, but later think about it, no way. War is always sad. Human life didn’t seem to be valuable, bullet flying , blood like river and body pile up. War is always so sad.

Music always bring joy to the soul. So many talented men got wasted. Music bring smile, friendship, and happiness regardless of race, nationality, gender, status.

Not going tp be spoiler. Give this movie a try. You won’t regret.

Beautiful story

Not going to write long review but just want to introduce this underrated movie to you. Several long time Korean actors together make it so much fun to watch. Geun Suk movie ensure beautiful music and songs. I really like his look here, as compared to his other movie. Such talented real life rock band musician/singer. This movie basically tell us that being an adult with family, career, and life responsibility and struggle, don’t forget to find joy through music. Don’t forget to persuade your dream. This guys bond again after falling down, they found joy through music. They were brave to embrace the new joy.
A must watch movie. The music 🎵 put a smile on everyone face. Their body language are hilarious.

Not sure why it takes me so long to start watching this movie. Perhaps it is the title. The title sound like dumb or stupid movie. It is quite opposite. Don’t want to be spoiler. The acting was so touching. Two main actors now on my favorite list. The story touch everyone heart. What a sweet, heartwarming movie. If you like Do Khung Soo after this movie, watch “Swing Kids”. Solid performance and masterpiece on both movies.

The big brother is not annoying at all. He has his own way to adjust to living with his younger handicap soft gentle brother. He has his own way to express his gratitude. He left family at young age, have had hard life, he has to show his toughness. His soft hearted and caring personality has finally shown.

I thought Park Shin Hye was his sister at first, later realized she was his coach. Love her.

Worth watching. Great value. A change from thriller and romantic Korean movie for sure.

This movie is such underrated. Not many review written. I want to bring more viewers to this movie. The movie started relaxing I thought it is a comedy. Then it suddenly turn serious, and very serious. I was yelling for JUSTICE. Come on. How can a Corrupted judge get away with such obvious injustice. .

This movie effect will not be the same if the main lead was some other actor. Song Kang Ho nailed it. One of his best performance yet. From “Joint Security Rea”to “A Taxi Driver” to “Parasite”. Wow, camera can just focus on him and no one else, he was so real to his role. He wasn’t acting, he pour his heart out to be the person in the story.

The movie own us a lot of explanation. As a viewer, naturally I want happy ending, see justice surface, see bad guys get punished and good person reunite with the family... . However, I remind myself this movie is about the attorney. He become the role model for lot of attorney in Busan to stand for justice and united. A brave soul, outspoken, wise attorney.

The OST at the last scene was perfect. I wish the movie goes on a little bit longer. I want more more more explanation, what is next. I guess people have to read the history of South Korea to get the whole story and big picture.

Love without border.

Looks like no one have written any review here, I will be the first. I am not the best in written review, but I want to introduce this old movie to more viewers. As I recall, this is a very powerful movie. I believe it is a true story.

A young common woman in western country somehow ended up in China teaching job in this small town. She fell in love with the children. She return to her home country. War started. She raise money and went back to help get the children out of the war zone. With the help of a few good people, they slowly get a few kids out a a time. It was nerve wracking. They endanger their won life to save the children. Didn’t want to be too much of a spoiler.

War is always cruel. War involved unnecessary dead. Tears and scarify. People helping people. During the harsh war, it takes determination and will power for a woman to extend her hand and heart to help children in country far away from her hometown. Love has no boundary. Children are innocent. They need help. She is the hero, the legend, the angel, the god.

Powerful movie. Worth watching. Highly recommended. It is an old movie, nevertheless, it is a true story.

I may be wrong, as I am just a common woman.

Such beautifully make movie. The two main leads make this movie masterpiece. Han Kyo Joo again deliver such a supreme act to tough everyone hearts. The way her hands/fingers gesture, her smile, her silence... was perfect. She never overact. I have not had a boring moment watching any of her movie yet. She can capture people emotion just right.

Now the main lead. He does not speak much. He just follow her around and intend to protect her. Both were wounded, one was eyesight, one were spiritually and mind wounded. Together they find happiness, support, joy, and love. Their bond were strong. He returned wounded badly again and were too shameful to speak to her again. However as a person that used to be blind, have a strong sense. By touching such as massage, she sense family body. Their adopted dog “Easy” normally very calm was acting excited and barking ran toward him. By touching his face, she confirmed that was him return. They were mean to be together. They were perfect together.

I get to be the first person to review this movie, very cool. I really enjoy it. The last time I watch “sholin” kung Fu I was a kid. Don’t think I spell “Sholin” correct LOL. This movie have great value. It remind all of us city people of how we gradually forgotten about how life suppose to be very simple, not so complicated, nature teCh us wonder. Build inner strength. Maintain our stability.

The scenery in the movie is such beauty. It remind us to listen to the sound of grass, the leave drop on water, walking the path of wisdom without violent. Building the inner strength for inner self. Discipline. The powerful drums with such control.

I had a housemate that use to practice drumming. It is one of the earliest instrument invented i the world. Was use in ancient war fights.

Not much romance in this movie. Worth watching. Learned some of the ancient sholine monk practice martial art that involve drumming.

It is said about the gangs brutally killing, plotting, and bloody fights. In contrast, this spoil gangster kid end up in a place that opposite with his city lifestyle. Took him a while and slowly self-realization, understanding, focus, gather self, listen to the nature, self-control, team work, ....

I am going to stop writing. Go ahead and watch this movie. Ou won’t regret. The drumming is really good

Unbelievable real life story.
Lee Je Hoon can act. Such talented young man. Great respect. The movie gets better about half way. No boring part. Love movie with beautiful OST. One thing I want to point out is that it is not OK for teacher to slab students head repeatedly, with or without reason. Also I don’t know if it is just movie or only in Korea, I hate to see bully in the school. I hope students in real life don’t have to be afraid of going to school. Students should be in a safe and pleasant environment to learn and grow. The only one scene I hate is when he had diarrhea sitting on the toilet, his principal on next stall had a conversation. With him. Is that really necessary to make the sound of their poop?

Some people like to know the ending - good or not. The ending is beautiful, you will smile and you will cry. Lee Je Hoon acting make me think he had a formal singing training. His posture, his shoulder, his lips and tongue placement is so real. Overall, love love love this movie.

I always mentioned this film to my friend. So serene, so calm, so beautifully make. Being an outdoor nature loving person, the scenery in this film is like a dream. The value of the film including religion, culture, tradition, Love, Care, mental/physical grow, teaching, simplicity and Life overall. It is slow pace, but one of a kind. I just can’t forget this film. Have watch it several times over the years. Don’t remember the name of the actors or actress, I think no big famous actor/actress. Highly Recommend. It is the kind of film make you think, discuss and stay in your mind for a long time.

Such a touching revolution true story

4 strong and famous actress in one movie. The movie started up slow but it eventually capture your attention , and you can’t get your eyes off the screen about 2/3 in. I have never been to China, but as a Chinese, father told me lots of Chinese history. From different dynasty to many political leaders. Not sure how true this movie portrait Chiang. The movie make him look really bad like shooting animal, stole the big Emperess diamond put on his wife shoes, and weak like a weam at the last airplane scene. My Chinese friends said they learned about the 3 sisters story in high school. I am a little Suprise that the Soong family were Christian, they were quite wealthy. It seems like they were ok. I thought Communism against religion believe.

Long story short. War is sad. Innocent people die, so many people die in any war. The worst is people fight against their own country men and women.

Stumble upon this base on real person true story movie. Really good and enjoyable movie. It is 2004 movie, image not very clear, but the message was clearly delivered. One can learn life lesson and reminder from watching this movie. I have learn Thai Kickboxing and had been to Thailand many times. Knowing that kickboxing is huge in Thailand. You can watch kickboxing ring on the street. Children learned kickboxing at young age. The male lead did a really good job portrait his role. If you are not aware, many family sent their boys to the monastery at the age of 5 to learn Buddhism, I believe for 2 years they stay in the monastery. To me, Thailand has been one step ahead of many modern countries in term of accepting transgender and transvestite person.

I thought this is a very heartwarming movie. The fight was pretty real, good technique etc. People should try to understand how much struggle the transgender /transvestite person is. Lots of internal struggle, society pressure, prejudice, etc.

This movie remind us of many life development, such as at the end she told the young fighter yo fight with his heart. Also, when you are lost, or puzzling, “Always remember who you want to be”. Don’t forget your family. Ask for their blessing.
