It’s 6am I’m so sleep deprived cause of binging this drama, i was HOOKED the way I didn’t expect much when starting it due to the plain looking poster but look what i got myself into, I won’t go into the plot summary cause you can quite literally see it everywhere but I love it! I’ve never seen anything like this actually where one tries to change their past but it ends up being a dream that’s the most logical way but didn’t expect that in dramas. The hints with the fragrances instantly made me realise what the plot twist was but when it happened i was still shocked their acting just makes me feel everything. A lot of tissues were used when watching this but everything added up so perfectly. Although I’m still quite bittersweet about the romance between the ML and FL but it makes sense this easily became one of my favourites, one of the only dramas I’d actually rewatch. All the characters portrayed their characters so well there wasn’t a single flaw in my eyes, I absolutely adored the family moments and bawled my eyes out when it was all shattered ? definitely recommend it, Zhou ye showed it all here.

Your ending my beginning

This had me on chokehold, the first time they met is actually the last time they’ll meet. This hits way harder than any of the bigger dramas I’ve watched, this is a carefully and wonderfully crafted love story that gave us hints everywhere, the cinematography was beautiful and expressed every scene so well, the actors portrayed their characters so amazingly I screamed in my pillow. I’m still not over this drama I was rethinking everything when the drama ended it felt like I’ve been pierced through my heart. There was never a happy ending for them to begin with but I still had my hopes up. I can’t believe this was only 14 episodes, 14 episodes was enough for them to make this beautiful drama.

I never really liked dramas that involve face swapping but i made an exception for this cause the thumbnail,casts and everything attracted me and i'm glad i did. Cause when i tell you i gasped I GASPED it was so good??? Like the chemistry between the leads were over the roof and the twist got me shocked never would i have thought that that would happen.

I was so sad for the second couple but when you see them back as "doppelgangers" and having a relationship that they deserved got me so happy everyone got the ending that they deserved.

And i also love the fact that there was no toxicity at all in the main leads relationship they never jumped to conclusions and the male lead was so understanding like i enjoyed every second of them.

so overall if you're wondering whether to watch this or not go for it i beg this mini drama does not disappoint. These mini dramas are getting better than those long ones i swear.

Hurts to watch

It honestly would've been so much better if the original empress played the main role cause the way this FL's character is just annoyed me, okay i get that that's literally her character but there's no need to act like a 10 year old and talk like one. She makes my blood boil i get that that's how FLs are in cdramas but i just simply can't hold back on this one oh and her bangs are ridiculous along with her character it makes everything worse maybe some visuals would've done justice but i doubt it would help anyway. I'm never really into body swapping but i thought this would've been good based on the name, thumbnail and trailer but boy was i wrong i should just keep myself away from those things. The editing was also just ridiculous and way too unrealistic, yes it doesn't have to be perfect but please it looks like a kid edited it. Hell maybe a kid would've done it better. Also the part where the ML started crying i bursted out laughing the acting was rather...questionable. I couldn't stand it anymore so i skipped episodes and watched parts of the episodes where she's gonna gain her memories back cause or else she'd be annoying,childish and nosy as fuck. It then all changed to revenge but it still wasn't good either it's like the scriptwriters just don't want to make this drama good. Overall waste of time if you can stand the annoying immature FL and questionable editing then go ahead cause i'm not gonna touch this drama ever again.
