  • Namorado Absoluto

    1. Namorado Absoluto

    Japanese Drama - 2008, 11 episodes

    8.5

Actually came in this with low expectations due to the original manga, HOWEVER, the development that the drama took does so many more wonders to the plot and enjoyment of this story, much more than the manga. Although it was quite silly, the angst and much more mature atmosphere that this drama gave will always bring a tear to my eye. The underlying theme of what really is considered true living will always make me love this drama. Bundling that philosophy with cute, quirky Dorama and you have me in love. Also Knight is HALF PINOY WHAAT. Xtra points for that, as well as Mizushima Hiro(he needs to do more things GOSH) and Riiko/Aibu Saki being too darn cute! The only reason why I didn't give it a 9+ is because of the ending, I still love it nonetheless but STILL.

  • Uchi no Otto wa Shigoto ga Dekinai

    2. Uchi no Otto wa Shigoto ga Dekinai

    Japanese Drama - 2017, 10 episodes

This was such a DAMN easy watch. I'm so glad they finally completed the translations. Just a cute watch that follows the life of an adorable couple and their hardships as they grow closer. Might sound standard, but it really hits home with very real problems that I'm sure all of us have faced. Besides the main couple being sugar on steroids, the supporting cast and their stories are quite heart-warming as well. Slice of Life is honestly a necessity sometimes *dreamy sigh*

  • Para Vocês na Flor da Idade

    3. Para Vocês na Flor da Idade

    Japanese Drama - 2007, 12 episodes

One of my first dramas, I can't get over how loved struck Nakatsu is. He really made this series for me. Also this is when I also fell in love with Horikita Maki (her acting career rip </3). Even though this is more on the crazy/ridiculous side (literally manga brought to life), that's what makes it a guilty pleasure. IT'S SO NOT REAL but in this case it just makes it even better~ I will always love this series. If you're not into J-drama THINK AGAIN.

  • De Mim para Você

    4. De Mim para Você

    Japanese Movie - 2010

    9.0

I came to this because I absolutely LOVE the original manga/anime, but HARUMA MIURA AND TABE MIKAKO *fans self* did a out of the park job with their roles. Even though it didn't fit the original series to the T, what was most important in the plot was captured and did a VERY good job at making my heart skip a beat. The chemistry of the mains was so great, I'd ship them in real life. I CAN'T GET OVER THIS.

  • Redescobrindo o Amor

    5. Redescobrindo o Amor

    Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes

    9.0

Such an EASY WATCH. Definitely a tried and true formula that I will never tire from, a rekindle of an old flame. MY GUILTY PLEASURE *fans self* This is one that I looked forward to every week when it aired and I REALLY WISHED it was the original 16 rather than 12 (the ending seemed slightly rushed), but welp. This is the first time I've ever seen a series become downsized, but I guess because it's a typical  romance plot it was possible but STILL. If you want to breeze through a drama with no problem , here it is! Such a simple premise, but so touching.

  • Esposa em Tempo Integral

    6. Esposa em Tempo Integral

    Japanese Drama - 2016, 11 episodes

    9.0

So modern without the unnecessary "drama" BS of misunderstandings, like the couple actually wanted to work out their problems and did so effectively and I LOVED that, which I feel isn't found  so often in romance series, so this was definitely a breath of fresh air. Also the obvious Dorama flair in the ending title was always a welcomed and needed joy.
