Plus Size Girl Power

I have issues with this drama and I feel like Naomi Watanabe deserved better BUT she shines in this, Kanna is a strong independent woman who has a career in the fashion industry, an amazing personal style and gets along great with other women. 

Yanagihara Kanako plays Yamashita Tomohisa's girlfriend, she isn't treated as badly as one would expect from a jdrama and she's super cute. 

This isn't the best character Naomi has been cast as, considering she gets to hide in a pretty bad wig and dull clothes, but the character is super interesting and she has her comback for disrespectful people. 

Naomi Watanabe plays Wanko's best friend and she's treated well, having male characters interested in her and everything, which you'd think isn't a big deal but that's just how terrible the jdrama industry is about female representaiton. 

Yanagihara Kanako plays Nanase's best friend and she could have a better role but I can't complain with how she was depicted, her style is also super nice and she's a great side-character.
