My Go-To ReWatch List
-
1. Meninos Antes de Flores
Korean Drama - 2009, 25 episodes
My first ever Kdrama...just have to revisit it from time to time. :-)
-
2. A Noiva do Século
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
Lee Hong Ki is amazing in this show and so is Yang Jin Sung (who plays TWO roles). They are just too cute together.
-
3. Descendentes do Sol
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Such an amazing show! Seriously....amazing. The acting, the story, the landscapes, the emotions...oh the emotions!!!
-
4. Cavaleiros dos Sonhos
Korean Drama - 2015, 12 episodes
Is it cheesy? Yep. Is it high drama? NOPE! This is just flat out fun! Just an easy watch with cool music and enough plot to entertain. It's my go to when I just want a "pick me up" and a smile.
-
5. Horas de Princesa
Korean Drama - 2006, 24 episodes
One of the first dramas I came across with a forced marriage. It's SUCH a good show. I can see why it's one of the "classics" of Kdrama.
-
6. Inborn Pair
Taiwanese Drama - 2011, 84 episodes
This one is longer than all the others on this list, so it's not necessarily one that I watch all the way through over and over, but it's so good that I simply must watch it at least in part from time to time.
-
7. Isso Começou Com Um Beijo
Taiwanese Drama - 2005, 20 episodes
ISWAK ...Just an amazing show. If you haven't seen it, you must. The story is simple, but the acting is well done. You will find yourself rooting for this couple.
-
8. Eles Beijaram Novamente
Taiwanese Drama - 2007, 20 episodes
In my opinion, the better season of the ISWAK series. I am always partial to the story after the married life begins and this one is great! This version of the story has the best reasons for the main female's need for having a light on in the night. If you're not familiar with the story that might not make sense, but if you are a person who likes this story, you will understand. Other versions give rather silly reasons...this one (and it's mentioned in the first season too) makes much more sense and adds SO MUCH to the story.
-
9. Beijo Atrevido: Amor em TÓQUIO
Japanese Drama - 2013, 16 episodes
The Japanese Version of ISWAK. And a very well done version too. I honestly don't know which country's version I like more. Both are great and both have unique charms!
-
10. Beijo Atrevido 2: Amor em TÓQUIO
Japanese Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
As with the Taiwanese version, I like the second season much better than the first. The married life story is much more interesting.
-
11. Minami-kun no Koibito: A Namorada de Minami-kun
Japanese Drama - 2015, 10 episodes
This was about the 4th drama I saw and after having seen about 220 dramas, it's still one of my favorites. It's such a sweet story and yet it has heart and charm and humor as well. I love it!
-
12. Oh, Minha Vênus
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
This drama is awesome. All 5 of the main characters are so much fun to watch together. It's funny, it's sweet, it's sarcastic, it's romantic...it's got everything.
-
13. A Panda e o Ouriço
Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes
Not only does this have an interesting plot line (even a bit of a mystery in it), but it will make you crave cake. For real! So many delicious cakes are shown being made in this show that I literally found myself searching a store for Little Debbie's because I just HAD to have a piece of cake. :-)
-
14. 1% de Alguma Coisa
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
The two leads in this are just amazing. The romance is one that makes you say, "yeah, I could see that happening." Not because the situation is common (it's anything but common), but because the road they take to love is valid and real. It's a romance between responsible adults who act like responsible adults. And I love that.
-
15. Two Lights: Relumino
Korean Special - 2017, 1 episode
This isn't a drama. It's a short film (about 30 min long) and it's AWESOME! It's about two people finding love, but it's done in such a sweet way from a unique perspective. If you watch it, don't miss the scene after the credits. It's the best!
-
16. O Romance de Uma Bruxa
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
Oh my stars! Park Seo Joon will tear your heart out in this show...and you won't mind at all. Such a sweet romance!
-
17. Kingdom: Guerra Lendária
Korean TV Show - 2021, 10 episodes
