After his family members constantly framed him for irresponsible behaviour (gambling, womanizing, etc) he partly gives up and decides to act according to that reputation. Later on he reforms.

The ML is irresponsible and spoiled. He spends all his time in brothels and gambling dens. The ML is clever and talented when it comes to clothing / fashion and the arts, but initial does not have any interest in hard work.

Although he always had a good heart and much of his situation was due to people judging him due to his looks, the ML starts out as an unemployed young man with no income and no plans to pursue studies or get a job who frequently gets into fist fights with his rival and hangs about with his unemployed friends. His rival and the FL end up inspiring him to find a job, get a license, and think about his dreams / how he can become a better person.
