Cults, Sects and Corrupt Churches

Titles I watched with cults, non-wuxia sects and corrupt churches (usually Christian) (I am not the most knowledgeable of the differences between cults and sects but I will try to clarify to the best of my ability). Will note on plot relevance

Cult:
         1. A system of religious veneration and devotion directed towards a particular figure or object.

Sect:
         1. A group of people with somewhat different religious beliefs (typically regarded as heretical) from those of a larger group to which they belong.
         2. A group that has separated from an established Church; a nonconformist Church.
         3. A philosophical or political group, especially one regarded as extreme or dangerous.
