My Favourite Character Friendship Dramas

This list would not be complete without Reply1988. It's the absolute epitome of friendship dramas (and dramas in general). 

Please just go watch this drama, it's so incredibly good, but is disappointingly underappreciated.

I never thought I would get so attached to a group of fictional criminals lol

The friendship between the ajumma's in the village as well as the people in Ri Jung Hyuk's military company will forever hold a special place in my drama memories.

This drama aired almost 15 years ago and that slightly scares me- anyway the friendship between the cafe employee's was super cute

I know this is a reality/variety show, but this doesn't take away from the fact that the friendships in this are great.

There are so many dramas where the FL and her two best friends  are seen as a 'squad', but this is the best of all of them. Into the Ring's squad just makes me happy, like I adore all three of the girls and their bonds. I wish I had a strong support system like this around me. 

Racket Boys best 2021 cutesy friendship drama I say. 

Another variety show to the list that was only supposed to be for dramas... but anyway. This follows the main male cast of Reply1988 (as in the main squad minus Hyeri and Lee Dong Hwi) as they go around Africa on a trip, it's such a fun watch and is a must watch for people who have finished Reply1988 and are missing the cast. 

Park Bo Gum <3 <3 <3 

I'm still not entirely sure whether I super duper love this drama or just kinda love this drama; but regardless of that I ADORE the friendship between Hyeri and her two buddies. Park Kyung Hye always does the most for her roles in dramas, and Kim Do Wan really brought personality to Jae Jin as a character. 

It's Jan 2022 and I can't believe I never thought to add Be Melodramatic to this list, it's literally the definition of a female friendship centred drama. 

I absolutely adored this drama for the way it portrayed the women in the birth centre, they were all so supportive of each other (once you got past the first few episodes lol). I'm really glad the writing team decided to portray the women in this light as opposed to pitting them against each other.
