What to Watch After Itaewon Class
-
1. Meu Estranho Herói
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
Another light revenge drama. In this one the leading character Bok Su (Revenge) who was falsely expelled from high school returns to that very same school as an adult high school student to take revenge against the people who caused his expulsion.
-
2. Avengers Social Club
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
Revenge with a side of the giggles. Three ladies who should never meet or become friends team up to take revenge on the men in their lives that have wronged them. Like Itaewon Class this one was also based on a webtoon.
-
3. Mistura da Adolescência
Korean Special - 2013, 4 episodes
By the same director. He's done a bunch of dramas (including Big and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds) but this mini series is a great little watch. A student who thinks he is going to change schools for the umpteenth time agrees to a bunch of things he'd never do so he can leave his classmates in the lurch. It's a lot of fun.
-
4. Lutando Pelo Meu Caminho
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Also starring Park Seo Joon. All about the realities of life as a young adult with big dreams. A nice friends to lovers rom-com.
-
5. Stranger
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Also starring Yoo Jae Myung. Stranger is an excellent crime drama that has won a pile of awards. Yoo Jae Myung is one of the major supporting cast in this one. All going well it should be getting a second season later this year.
-
6. A Vida Privada Dela
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Also starring Ahn Bo Hyun. It'll probably take some effort to wipe his performance as Jang Geun Won from your mind and picture him as one of the softest second leads ever. But if you can Her Private Life is a more than decent rom-com worth your time.
-
7. Meu Ahjussi
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Also starring Choi Yoo Ra. Her role in this drama is not a huge one. But the drama is amazing and well worth a watch.
-
8. O Entregador Mais Forte
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Another drama set in the food industry. With another motley crew of self starters taking a fight against a big corporation.
-
9. Wok do Amor
Korean Drama - 2018, 38 episodes
Another drama set in the food industry. Also with a rag tag crew of criminals and misfits and a fight between two restaurants as the lead character tries to beat the bigger chain who stole his recipe book. Fairly average drama but it will make you crave Jajjangmyun and Tangsuk (sweet and sour pork) like crazy so there's that.
-
10. Rei da Panificação, Kim Tak Goo
Korean Drama - 2010, 30 episodes
Recommended by many as being similar to Itaewon Class. I haven't seen this one but it was extremely popular back when it aired.
-
11. Cheap Cheonlima Mart
Korean Drama - 2019, 12 episodes
Also based on a webtoon. Pegasus Market is a recently aired drama also based on a webtoon. It's about a company director who is sent to work at a mart in order to make him quit his job and his continued attempts to take revenge on the company. Overall, a hilarious romp.

12. Me Salve
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Also based on a webtoon. Another drama about an individual whose family moves to a new place in the country for work and upon starting high school their life is changed forever due to incidents that occur. This time the girl's family are whisked away by a cult. Quite a dark drama but very well done.
