1. O Pior do Mal
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
A well written and amazing crime thriller with fantastic acting, great cinematography and loads of suspense. It was dark, gritty and violent in the best way possible.
-
2. Canibal
Japanese Drama - 2022, 7 episodes
A very different drama that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Very binge worthy and intense, especially if you enjoy the horror and thriller genre. The countryside and small village setting is interesting and really adds to the eerie atmosphere.
My biggest complaint would be the relationship between the daughter and the parents, and how the parents choose to handle certain situations.

3. A Herdeira
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
A solid mystery thriller with only 6 episodes.
The cinematography is excellent and contributes a lot to the storytelling and dark atmosphere throughout the drama. As does the music which is very foreboding, suspenseful and eerie.
My only concern with this drama would be that whilst the acting is truly amazing I didn’t really feel anything for the characters or their fate. -
4. My Dearest
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
A cinematic masterpiece.
Gut-wrenching, beautiful and visually pleasing. “My dearest” has everything you want in a historical drama.
It touches on a lot of important topics that are relevant and needed in a drama that depicts the reality of history and war, and does so in an immaculate manner.
The characters feel very realistic and perfectly imperfect, just like people in real life. Watching them come alive on the screen and follow their very sweet, but also dark and heart wrenching journeys makes you smile and cry for them in a way few dramas manages to do. The characters immense growth during the war and hardships is honestly so satisfying to watch and even though things don’t always go as one would like, the drama is told in such a convincing and wonderful way that you can’t help but to want more.
A must watch, absolutely gorgeous drama. I highly recommend it! -
5. Tsukuritai Onna to Tabetai Onna
Japanese Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
Sweet, calm and cosy.
The romance is quite surface level, but feels like a warm embrace. It’s nice to see a drama that touches on a lesbian relationship since the majority of the dramas and movies are about either hetero or gay couples these days.
The friendship and company they find in each other feels heartwarming and needed, especially in today’s society that can be lonely and isolating for many.
The food element in the drama is definitely a huge bonus and makes it a great watch for all of us foodies out there! -
6. Seus Olhos Dizem
Japanese Movie - 2020
The Japanese version of the Korean movie “Always”, so nothing new but still a well made and beautiful movie. I like how Japan made it feel more Slice of Life, it really fit the atmosphere of the story.
-
7. Felicidade
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
A decent zombie outbreak drama.
It was good enough and a nice watch, but felt pretty flat and like it was lacking something. It never really got scary and I didn’t really worry or care for any of the characters. Despite this I’d still recommend this drama, especially for people that like the genre. -
8. Eye Love You
Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
An okay romance drama and an easy watch. Relatively sweet and cute at times, but lacked that special sparkle some romantic comedies have.
-
9. Quando a Morte Sussurra
Thai Movie - 2023
A pretty okay horror movie.
I liked the overall atmosphere and setting, very eerie and fitting for the genre. I love stories based on urban legends, ghost stories and folklore, so in that sense I enjoyed the premise of the movie a lot, if only it was told in a different more compelling way. It didn’t feel that scary and the blood didn’t even look convincing at times.
I feel like the storytelling and the unfolding of the mystery are the most important parts in a good horror movie and unfortunately they failed at delivering. For me this movie had a lot of potential, but not much more than that. -
10. Aloners
Korean Movie - 2021
Aloners is a really good movie. Very realistic and gripping.
-
11. Kaibutsu
Japanese Movie - 2023
Beautiful storytelling.
-
12. Assunto de Família
Japanese Movie - 2018
Heartfelt and raw.
-
13. Peões do Amor
Chinese Drama - 2024, 40 episodes
This drama was so addictive it was impossible to pause. The episodes flew by so fast. It didn’t have a single boring episode. The acting was truly amazing and the chemistry between the main characters was so intense. The music and cinematography was incredibly beautiful as well. My only complaint would be that the ending was way too rushed and not satisfying. They should’ve made the last episode into 3-4 extra episodes instead to keep the pace of the rest of the drama.
-
14. The Double Special
Chinese Special - 2024, 1 episode
Worth a watch but pretty disappointing and didn’t really fit the atmosphere or pace of the rest of the drama. It felt kind of out of place and not like a true special.
-
15. Ning An Ru Meng
Chinese Drama - 2023, 38 episodes
A great historical Chinese drama. It took a few episodes to get into, but the storyline and political drama was intriguing and well written. The acting and chemistry between the characters was amazing. Many likeable side characters as well. The CGI could be bad at times, but other than that the drama was truly beautiful.
-
16. Story of Kunning Palace Extra
Chinese Special - 2023, 1 episode
Very short and sweet, fits the rest of the drama and makes for a perfect bonus episode.
-
17. Amor entre Fada e Demônio
Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes
This drama was so addicting. Emotional, funny and incredibly beautiful. The CGI was so much better than many other chinese xianxia. This drama made me feel so much, I’ll forever treasure the experience.
-
18. Xógum: A Gloriosa Saga do Japão
Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
A masterpiece. The cinematography is stunning.
-
19. Half of Us
Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes
Stunning cinematography and costumes, very visually pleasing. Even the fight scenes are pretty. Very strong and well made beginning with an interesting plot, unfortunately due to a bit too many unnecessary flashbacks and a disappointing open ending the second half didn’t feel as magical.
-
20. Otto no Katei wo Kowasu made
Japanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
A good revenge drama, very suspenseful during the first half, but the ending wasn’t satisfying in my opinion.
