BL I'd recommend for first timers
These are BL I'd recommend to someone who's interested, but never watched a BL. They have fairly simple and easy to follow storylines with couples that have good chemistry.

I don't think this one has aged that well. The quality of BL has definitely gotten better over the years. But it was a lot of people's first BL and it's loaded with tropes. I think anyone who watches it will then have an idea of what to expect from other BL, both the good and bad.
