Embark on a journey with me as we explore women love women series and films, unveiling gems and delving into what sets them apart. Find out which ones deserve your time and why! While I indulge in numerous series and films, I curate only the must-watch selections for those seeking quality sapphic content. This list is continually refreshed with my latest viewing experiences. Expect nothing below a 7 out of 10 rating to make the cut.

(In the series/films, there are quite a few controversies questioning the age differences (Blank/GAP) or the behaviors of certain characters (LoveBully). However, let us remember that it is fiction, and there is no promotion of anything here. Rather, it is about depicting unusual stories that make us think.)

  • Blank Season 2

    1. Blank Season 2

    Thai Drama - 2024, 6 episodes

    10

Blank is currently the best Thai series featuring lesbian couples. It's absolutely amazing! It's so far ahead that I'm worried for other sapphic series coming out. Reaching this level is gonna be tough!

The second season surpasses the first season! The acting is flawless from all the actors, and the music is spot on. However, there are still some issues with overly loud sound design, english subtitles or editing but it doesn't hinder the experience! The love scenes are absolutely exceptional, as are the emotional ones. I have nothing to complain about. It's perfect! I'm going to miss this series immensely! <3

    2. Blank

    Thai Drama - 2024, 6 episodes

    9.0

The actors deliver exceptionally strong performances, showcasing their talent and dedication to their roles.

The storyline is engaging, keeping viewers invested and eager for each new development.

The soundtrack is wonderfully crafted, enhancing the emotional impact of key moments throughout the series.

The episodes feel way too short, leaving audiences craving more of the captivating story and characters!!

"Faye" Supaporn Malisorn is incredibly beautiful and her character is very endearing. She portrays her role superbly, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative.

The love story is very captivating, drawing viewers into the intense and heartfelt connection between the characters.

There are no major production issues, the series is aesthetically pleasing and well-edited. However, some flashbacks feel cliché and uninteresting when they don't contribute to the plot. Additionally, certain instances of sound design may not appeal to all viewers, although this is subjective and influenced by cultural factors.

Despite these minor flaws, I've never rated a sapphic series this highly before. As someone who is extremely critical in my ratings, making it the first WLW series that I would recommend wholeheartedly. It's 100% worth it!

P.S: Blank the series is related to Gap the series.

  • Club Friday Season 16: Love Bully

    3. Club Friday Season 16: Love Bully

    Thai Special - 2024, 4 episodes

    8.0

    Main Roles:

This mini-series stars Charlotte Austin, an artist I particularly admire. I believe she has made tremendous progress as an actress over the past year. She was seen in "Show Me Love" alongside her co-actress Engfa Waraha, who is also in this series. They are a very popular shipped couple in Thailand and many other countries since their competition in Miss Grand Thailand.

    Upcoming Projects:

We will also see them in the upcoming series "Petrichor," which has a lot of potential in terms of production! Engfa Waraha recently starred in the TV series "Bangkok Khanika," where she was highly praised and Charlotte Austin also played in "Mon Rak Luk Thung" in 2024.

    Acting:

In "Club Friday Season 16: Hot Love Issue," you can indeed see that both of them have made significant progress as actresses, and this is just the beginning. The acting of all the actors is very good.

    Plot:

The storyline is captivating and interesting.

    Music:

The music is very beautiful during the romantic scenes; however, the choice of music in other parts leaves me a bit perplexed. I would say it's average overall.

    Production and Direction:

The production and direction are good. I am incredibly happy to see Charlotte Austin and Engfa Waraha together in a series and also to see them becoming more mature with each of their films and series. This is very promising for the future.

    Sapphic Themes and LGBT Acceptance:

The series is a good sapphic series; the theme on transsexuality and LGBT acceptance is very well handled. I like it a lot overall.

    Length and Cultural Elements:

It's a bit short, and sometimes I struggle with the slow-motion scenes or certain artistic choices due to cultural differences. Overall, it's really good!

  • GAP

    4. GAP

    Thai Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    7.5

I watched GAP between February and March 2023, marking my introduction to Thai sapphic series. The standout feature for me was the compelling storyline. Freen Sarocha's performance was notably strong, exhibiting commendable acting prowess. However, I found the remainder of the cast to be somewhat average in comparison. The production, particularly in terms of audio and visuals, fell short of expectations, with repetitive music and occasional unremarkable shots. While the narrative held promise, it didn't quite engross me as anticipated.

Nonetheless, the chemistry between the lead actresses was undeniable, elevating the romantic aspects of the series to excellence. Despite its flaws, I did enjoy the series. Yet, the production shortcomings left me contemplating a higher rating.

I recommend GAP for its engaging romance, charming characters, and largely cohesive storyline. Although it didn't fully captivate me, it's certainly not lacking in merits.

P.S: GAP the series is related to Blank the series.
