1. Academia Militar Arsenal
Chinese Drama - 2019, 48 episodes
The first Chinese drama I have saw. At first the humour drew me in. I had no idea that by the end of it, I would be left so emotionally raw and one wonderful experience richer. This drama opened the door for me to the world of Chinese dramas.

2. Vá em frente
Chinese Drama - 2020, 46 episodes
This drama made me understand the beautiful and unique thing about Chinese dramas. I love how just normal life was discussed in this drama, Nobody was perfect but the main important thing was that they loved each other so much. I was not one for family dramas but this drama just drew me in.

3. Amor à Primeira Vista
Chinese Drama - 2019, 35 episodes
Like Go Ahead, this drama felt real to me. I love this drama because it was just so beautiful. Every step the characters took made sense to me. It was lovely to see them grow. The acting by both leads was perfect.

4. Romance Impossível
Taiwanese Drama - 2020, 20 episodes
What I sometimes found lacking in Chinese dramas I could find in Taiwanese dramas.
The chemistry seen in Taiwanese dramas must be the most explosive of all Asia. When other dramas, whether Korean, Chinese or Japanese stop with the display of affection, Taiwanese dramas went all in. However the most important is that they portray it so beautifully and tastefully. Everything about feels right and according the main lead's characters.
Like the previous dramas I shed many tears while watching this drama. Both leads left curious to their other work. I already knew the female lead and I am now a fan of hers as well.

5. Amor e Redenção
Chinese Drama - 2020, 59 episodes
This story, their acting and the production was just so beautiful. The best Chinese fantasy drama I have seen.

6. O Romance do Tigre e da Rosa
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
From the little bits I had seen I always thought of wuxia and xianxia dramas as quite serious and found their plots too difficult to understand. I didn't know they could be this funny. This drama won me over with the plot and the lovely acting by Zhou Lusi.

7. Doce é o Amor
Chinese Drama - 2020, 36 episodes
I love sweet rom-coms and this one was (almost) perfect.
-
8. Encontre-se
Chinese Drama - 2020, 41 episodes
One of the earliest Chinese dramas I've seen. I already knew Victoria as a member of f(x). I was pleasantly surprised by Song WeiLong. Though the plot was very frustrating at times, they were both adorable as a couple. After the Korean 'Something in the rain' it made me certain that I was a fan of 'noona' dramas.

9. Antes Que A Gente Se Case
Taiwanese Drama - 2019, 13 episodes
This was the first Taiwanse drama that changed everything for me. I honestly never knew that an Asian drama was allowed to such explosive chemistry. I was happily shocked. Besides the great chemistry, their acting made me realize how much I enjoy Taiwanse (and Chinese) dramas.
