My Favourite Dramas (Compilation)

Really heartwarming drama as the father (ML) got turned back to his 18 yr self again, going back to school and truly understanding his children's real situation in school. It's quite lighthearted but the story has got much more depth as compared the original American movie. There are lots of funny scenes and tear jerking moments as well, I've got to say this is my healing drama whenever I feel down and unconfident of myself! 

PS: there are many young actors worth the notice as they will definitely become famous in due time!

Lead by Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk! Just imagine the soothing visuals~ So this drama is set in a sports university and what I can say is, it's done really well for a quirky romance drama! I just love the couple so much, they are so cute and natural with each other!

A Chinese detective/crime solving drama setup in a historical background. This is truly a very underrated drama that deserved much more attention than those mainstream big budget dramas! I really want to share how sweet the main lead couple are even though both of them are just so blur about each other's feelings!

This was a drama that I stumbled across randomly and since I known Haruma Miura from other dramas, I gave this drama a try and to my pleasant surprise, the drama is really good and how the story portrayed the FL is very unique unlike most Japanese dramas!

The story mainly focused on the FL in her 30s who has not dated anyone and she got pushed to a social meeting where she met a mysterious younger guy to which was actually a setup by one of her salon customer who had a crushed on the FL's male colleague.

Honestly, this drama was quite healing to me especially since the FL is very true to herself and she did not try to compromise herself to be like the typical Japanese women and always restraining how they really feel.

Watch only Ep 3 - 5 for the 2nd couple story! super hilarious and the intense romantic scenes~ Another mini series! How I wish I have such a guy friend and I actually got jealous at one point watching the couple XD

For this drama, I actually recommend watching for the side casts' love line simply because they are just much interesting than the main leads! I particularly rewatched for the purpose of watching  the eldest brother and 2nd brother's individual plots! 1st brother is a gold digger but ended up really falling in love sincerely for a women who was also the sister of the ML. 2nd brother is a gay who always had thoughts of committing suicide but finally met his one true love because of a random first meet.

Honestly I really do feel that this drama is Zheng Shuang's best role out of all her productions! Though many said she just went through her breakup and wasn't in her best acting condition but I would beg to differ as her acting here is definitely the best like for once she is acting normally as compared to other dramas. A lot of credit definitely also goes to Yang Yang who played his role out of expectations as well! 

I have no hard feelings to how the FL behaved in real life so it really didn't bothered me when I rewatched this drama :)

This is one of the dramas that I have rewatched countless times and I still watch it whenever I miss the actors! The drama name and story genre is similar to the movie of the same name but more in-depth, I really appreciate all the actor's bringing their characters like they are alive! It's a drama filled with lots of laughter and hilarious moments and I personally did not feel sad even though there were quite a few depressing moments.

A mini Korean series talking about the FL who was constantly bullied in school due to her plain looks and how she was actually the popular beauty influencer that was sought after by thousands of followers. I must mention that this drama really showed what is true toxic in school and obsession towards unrealistic beauty standards!

I guess there is not much need to introduce what this drama was about since it was so popular when it got released! Just so for everyone to know, the Song Song couple had the best chemistry and not forgetting all the cast that did magic to their roles!

So I watched this drama down right for Han HyoJoo and Park Hyunsik since they return to the screen after such a long hiatus! This drama had quite a deep meaning for the leads and saying true happiness is said easy but doesn't come easy at all reflects perfectly for them. 

For me I didn't really fancy the scenes were mostly focused in the apartments/military isolation centre, would have been much better if the story could stretch further to what's happening outside.

Many people says they despised watching Goblin that it's boring and overrated but what I love was their chemistry and how each of them made wonders with their character! 

A Chinese drama that I really enjoyed in a long while. What attracts me was the rare strong headed FL as she navigate her way up the ranks to take revenge against all the people that had hurt her loved ones including the Empress who protected her when she was only a lowly servant.

Cutest couple ever Min Min and Bong Bong! I could totally see both of them were literally channeling their real emotions into their characters that created a very believable chemistry between them. 

And both of them did admit they actually liked each other but I guess they still wanted to uphold their professionalism, thus did not further their relationship outside of the drama.  But I mean end of the day, it's their freedom and decision which I totally support!

Quite a low key drama that didn't have much marketing nor promotions so I wouldn't be surprised if nobody knows about this drama... It's filled with hilarious scenes even though this drama is heavy on the dark and suspenseful moments!

One of the best political/revenge drama! Totally worth the watch as all the characters are unique on their own! There are some lighthearted moments but what's most important is the satisfaction that you will feel as they bring all the corrupted officials one by one and brought back the honour to the ones that truly deserved! 

Definitely give this drama a chance because beyond the first 2 episodes, the story starts to get interesting and not forgetting funny times both the leads fight like kids! I only completed this drama very recently and all my previous concerns of Ahn HyoSeop's sometimes "dry"/unstable acting has been cleared away with his great acting here!

My all time favourite drama that I rewatched for don't know how many times already! No explanations needed because I totally fell in love with the FL's pure innocence and her cute and hilarious reactions every she got teased by the ML!

This drama consisted of 3 seasons by right but I think the 3rd season got cancelled due to many complications. But I must say it's very rare that both seasons are equally great especially since there was a change of ML in season 2 that didn't affect the stories vibe and chemistry at all!

For those who wants to feel the sweet and sugary feelings of love and please watch this drama!Though the characters' job setup are not very realistic but you will not be disappointed!

I get it that many people criticized this drama for selling it as a family drama but ended up became a romance drama but I got to say that I already predicted it would turn out this way when I watched the drama initially. 

Honestly if you have watched it with some care, you would already noticed that the 1st brother did not treat the FL as his younger sister not even when they were growing up. Before the brothers went overseas for their studies, there were already many hints and small actions hidden within the ways how the 1st brother treats the FL as compared to how the 2nd brother who really treated the FL like his real sibling.

So when the 1st brother played all the dirty tricks to make the FL's "boyfriend" willingly break up with the FL in order to woo the FL himself, it didn't surprise me at all since I know it's bound to happen.

Quite a deep drama with quite a few bit of gruesome scenes~ Honestly even after so long, I still love this drama for it's plot and great acting/chemistry between the actors! The story is set in a police call centre where the FL is a voice profiler as she works with the ML (detective) to solve the crimes in order to catch the serial killer who is none other than Kim Jae Wook!
