Korean Dramas That Will Make You Hungry
-
1. A Joia no Palácio
Korean Drama - 2003, 54 episodes
Dae Jang Geum (Jewel in the palace)- This is till date the best show portraying cooking and food scenes, especially authentic korean cuisines. There is absolutely no way you can watch this show without salivating over the dishes they are cooking or doing online search about the dishes being shown. The kitchen, their cookware and the way the dishes are explained, will leave you with an eternal love for korean cuisine even if you live in a place far away across the Globe.
The drama not only spurred interest for korean food culture in China and Japan, it instilled a new passion for royal cuisine among Korean public, turning it in to "national obsession". - u/links253

2. Dae Jang Geum Está Assistindo
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Dae Jang Geum is Watching ( Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma!) - This drama packs a triple whammy as far as food goes - 3 siblings, each with their own special talent: Oldest brother rates various restaurants in Seoul, brother #2 has his own cooking vlog, and little sister creates the most amazing convenience store combo's. A couple of light romances are thrown into the mix. It was like dessert at the end of the day. - u/LcLou02
Dae Jang Geum Is Watching - This quirky show features 3 siblings (descendants of the Joseon-era culinary genius, Dae Jang Geum), who each have a "superpower" related to food. In addition to budding relationships, the viewer is treated to lots of scenes of cooking and dining (in actual restaurants in Seoul, I believe). - u/Longjumping-River-42

4. Vamos Comer 2
Korean Drama - 2015, 18 episodes
Let's Eat 2 -There are actually 3 seasons of this drama, and I imagine (based on the titles) that all 3 of them will make you hungry, but I've only seen this season. The show has a bit of everything--a love/hate romance, a bromance, a heartwarming "found family," a mystery, and a redemption arc, and, of course, lots and lots of food. The food ranges from high-end molecular gastronomy, to Chinese, Thai, and lots and lots of Korean food. In fact, a lot of time is spent watching the two main leads fight over the best way to eat a particular food as well as them really enjoying what they're eating. - u/Longjumping-River-42

9. Mr. Sunshine: Um Raio de Sol
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
Mr. Sunshine - Who knew that a historical drama could make you so hungry? Although guns and sword fights are the main attraction, the leading lady Go Ae-shin frequented a French bakery that had an assortment of delicious foods. From candy to bread and colorful cakes, I was drooling whenever the bakery would appear. Additionally, her servants were treated to bowls of jjajangmyeon during one of the episodes which also looked so delicious. - u/eal8

10. Chefe Kim
Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes
Chief Kim - Junho’s character, Seo Yul was nicknamed “gluttonous sociopath” and rightfully so. He was always seen snacking on shrimp crackers, candy bars, and a variety of other things. In those instances, I always wanted to eat something. Essentially when he wasn’t screaming at our Chief, he was doing mukbang scenes. There was a scene of him feasting on some drool-worthy Korean-Chinese food. I would always get cravings when I saw him eat because he also always made the food look so good. - u/eal8

Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Mystic Pop-up Bar - FL must settle the grudges of 100.000 humans before she can pass on to the afterlife.
Food isn't the main focus of the drama, but FL cooks several times for the guests in the bar, mostly comfort food or something related to their story. You see her prepare the dishes and all of looks delicious - u/Bichette__

All the scenes where she is baking are so lovely to watch and will definitely make you want to go get yourself some similar pastries and cakes! I really adored this drama for its witty and strong FL considering this was a 2005 drama.
