Comments: 

• I was excited to see Yang Mi come back and in a more serious drama. I admit it took a while to get into her being a cold hearted, suspicious and cruel person. I see she really put in a lot of effort in the tone of her voice and posture and mannerisms to portray the character. She also does well in portraying the more human and venerable side of the character as well.
• Of course, Qin Hao is great.
• The tension in the episodes I watched were good. It kept me anxious.
• But I had my fill of republican era dramas already.

• The beginning was good, but I think the writer messed up in wrapping everything up. Especially resolving everything on the emotional side of things.
• I the male lead Moon Sang Min is someone to look forward to.
• Loved the cameo form the real life boyfriend of Jeon Jung Seo, and Kim Bum, and Lee Soo Hyuk.

• I really loved this drama for what it was worth. The chemistry between the leads.
• The production quality was very disappointing, considering who Zhao Li Ying is.
• The story was mediocre, they defaulted into inner monologues instead of the actors acting abilities, just disappointed me.
• The poster gave me so much hope of what the aesthetic will be like, but I knew I shouldn't have.

• This was an unexpected watch. And turned out really good.
• I really love how complicated things where between the characters.
• I liked the non linear story telling.
• I predicted what happened, but how they unfolded it made me really satisfied.
• I loved the actors in it too.

• It is not a bad contemporary drama.
• It is not a bad family drama either. The annoying mother annoying but because they keep bringing in characters that are more annoying than her, you keep directing your frustrations to them.
• I liked the slightly less romance in them.

• It was a really nice easy watch.
• I liked the relationship of the main couple.
• I liked how the couple talked things through, but they are a match made in heaven but their conflict was never caused between the two of them but external forces, which I personally  hoped for and see them work out.

Comments:

• The characters here are very interesting, very flawed, but interesting.
• The way the drama was filmed made me feel like I am looking into their private lives in secret, so the vulnerability of the characters hits even harder seeing being selfish, unreasonable made me not hate them but understand them better as a person.
• The acting was very good. Ariel Lin, Tiffany Shu  and Mike He in this love triangle is just chef's kiss.
• The only reason this drama is not higher than an 8, is because of the cancer curveball they threw at the end. I wished that all of them got the closure they need and move on, accepting the consequences of their actions live their normal lives.
• These are the kinds of dramas that Taiwan does best. I use to watch a lot of their idol romance dramas before but now other countries do that genre better. I am glad that their dramas very distinguishable with how their dramas are so grounded with reality.

• I really really loved and enjoyed the drama.

• The reason I rated this drama high is because it met my expectations, it created so many moments and the acting and the chemistry was just phenomenal.

• But that does not mean I am not enjoying the drama.
• But at the end... I just lost interest. I wished the drama was more about these two and their problems and insecurities.

• It is more episodic than having one big overall storyline.
• I think Lee Jae Hoon is having the time of his life acting with characters that he has given in Taxi Driver and this drama. 
• I am looking forward to the upcoming episodes.
