starting off strong w the one and the only ?i don't think any drama will be able to ever reach this level of fame, drama, recognition, or... gov involvement... BUT ANYWAYS i really do think this show deserved every ounce of fame it got, especially wang yibo and xiao zhan. there are some downsides within the fans and w the aftermath situations after the show, but The Untamed will always be an iconic staple

university enemies to lovers - thailand

i have some thoughts on this particular series/thing/wtv this was. for the year it came from it was solid as it was quarantine and i genuinely think everyone was in a slump so they ate up any form of entertainment that got thrown their way. this is a prime example of the result of that. i do genuinely respect both win and bright, but man it's the 0% chemistry 100% looks that did it for them. the show was boring, they looked like 2 bffs goofing around and (ik this is after the show stuff) bright can NOT sing for the life of him PLEASE. anyways this was obviously going down in the hall of fame

actor and chef - korea

i was debating on whether putting 1 or 2 but i'm putting in 1 as the representation of both seasons bc i do believe that they were both beautiful stories. when we think of korean bls, there really isn't that many but TMS started and era where more people started producing them and releasing them. 2021 seems recent but soo much change has happened and one of the sole reasons is this show as to how amazing it is. I will keep praising this show and the actors for my lifetime, hell i'll probably be watching it in the hospital when im 90 on my soon-to-be deathbed

i would (if this is a drama ranking thing) usually leave actor drama and stuff out of the topic so i can plainly react to a show, but babe this is a diff list so yeah. there's a LOT of stuff abt this show and what happened behind the scenes that genuinely irk me whenever i go and try to watch it. it just feels so... insincere? actors act, it's their job, but when you pretend you're standing and fighting for something just for the bucks and actually mentally fight for the opposite thing, that rubs me completely the wrong way. and to go about and release that mentality onto another person? crazy.

THE ICONNNN THE LEGEND !! it's what brought me here (and i'm sure many of us LMAO) the sole fact of them both being idols is a whole other story but this as the heir to TMS brought korean media into a new light. it completely blew up. the other thing though is that the actors themselves aren't afraid to promote it as what it is and it just makes me feel all the better when watching the actual show.

to this day this is still one of my all time favorites. its a must watch for enemies to lovers fans and season 2 seems slightly toxic but overall beautiful story and i love it sm !!
