1. The Seventh Generation
Chinese Drama - 2023, 38 episodes
This drama shows us seven different ways that a romance can be fluffy, compassionate and touching. I enjoyed watching Changkong and Xiangyun’s love story multiple times as they build a friendship, courtship and face hardships together in the form of tribulations. I experienced many laughs from our characters and I also found myself getting emotional at the pivotal hardships they needed to overcome.

2. Poesia de Amor Milenar
Chinese Drama - 2021, 49 episodes
I cried so bad watching this drama but it was so good. I particularly loved the second half the drama. This was my first time seeing the female lead but her smile is so infectious. Fantastic acting/casting. <3

6. Escândalo em Sungkyunkwan
Korean Drama - 2010, 20 episodes
This drama will forever be a classic. This is one of my absolute favorite dramas from Park Min Young. The chemistry, the acting and the OST were all captivating.

7. Detetive Ancião
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
- I enjoyed the intelligence and wit of this drama. It completely kept me on my toes and kept me thinking about what would happen next.
- The main characters were great, the bromance in the drama made me overlook the lackluster romance that the show was trying to portray.
- While the show does suffer from a huge cliffhanger and weak romance, the way the plot unfolded had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.
-
8. Alquimia das Almas
Korean Drama - 2022, 20 episodes
Reminds me of the love I had when watching Goblin. Interesting story, complex characters and enemies to lovers.
-
9. O Último Imortal
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
There is a gem in this drama where the FL is able to get her revenge back in the best way possible and it was such an amazing sight to see. Overall I enjoyed this drama and it's worthy of a recommendation.

10. Immortal Samsara: Parte 1
Chinese Drama - 2022, 38 episodes
Another favorite of mine from Cheng Yi. This drama really knew how to capture the right amount of feels, drama, adventure and also deliver those lighthearted moments that I enjoy from my dramas. While this drama did become draggy, I still enjoyed Part 1 a fair amount compared to Part 2.
-
11. Minha Princesa Atrevida
Chinese Drama - 2022, 22 episodes
Sassy Princess is an easy-going period drama that I watched to take a break from more of the angst heavy ones. It’s romantic, it’s fun and I seriously enjoyed watching the chemistry between the leads unfold.
-
12. Amor ao Luar
Korean Drama - 2016, 18 episodes
I’ll always have to mention Love in the Moonlight because it was the drama that brought me into the period/costume drama world. I loved the simplicity of this drama. I never became bored and I was excited for what came next.
