Characters that would make you drop a drama because of them
This list is solely focused on badly written/acted/executed CHARACTERS.
I don't hate villains. Actually, I like them quite a bit. Good acting or a well-developed one will even become memorable for me. On another occasion, I would even cheer for them. On the other hand, I dislike green tea, white lotus and the like ... there is just too much nonsense thrown into the mix. And I am still very bullshit intolerant. wanna be a protagonist? Come on, at least make it believable.

王婉中 as Zhou'Er.
The introduction of the character itself was alright. A childhood memory, love at first sight because of the script. I'll close one eye on it. But reaching adulthood, her introduction as a performer. I can close another eye on the singing part. The editing team didn't bother with matching the lips with the lyrics, but I'll let that pass as well. Am I not generous much? She overacts while playing the guzhen. ... fine, here I'm closing both eyes. The song lyrics are fine and the voice as well. Might as well ignore the visual and focus on the music.
But then again, her character is supposed to be smart... somehow. And yet still failed to read the cues that palace life is full of dangers. roll eyes # 1 and it goes downhill. What a mess of a potentially good case.

I don't have it in my book. it's" and she's supposed to be protagonist or antagonist again ??? oh wait ... the viewer is supposed to like her [/end sarcasm]
pfff .. I wanted to fast-forward all her scenes until the end of the ARSON case ... because I still wanted to see Yurou with Bao Zheng. Then I stumbled upon a clip on Baidu... I then lost all interest in this drama. pfff, I'll save myself from losing more time and brain matter on this.

The list is so long. I don't even know where to start.
I didn't drop this drama though. I completed it with a lot of difficulties and that is because of Cui Nong's character.
I don't really blame the actress though. The script itself was a giant mess. Wanna see badly written fanfiction on screen? Click on it. You would wonder why you didn't drop it any sooner.
