Romancevicariously's Age-gap romance drama recommendations
I am going to point out dramas here which are not known for being age-gap but that is what caught my eye in them. So don't expect to see a 'I hear your voice' in here, it was the crux of the story: an age-gap romance. I am listing dramas where the Male Lead was either older in age or very mature in his behaviour, which gave age-gap vibes to me, though it was not the major theme of the drama.

1. Vai, Cara de Lula!
Chinese Drama - 2019, 41 episodes
The ML was in his 30s and the FL was still in college. They both were same on the maturity level. The older aspect of the ML came across in how protective he always was of her:
- Always making sure she reaches home safely even if he wasn't with her
- Taking care of household chores
- Generally being more ready to be married than her, given she was much younger. -
2. O Par Perfeito
Taiwanese Drama - 2017, 22 episodes
The ML was shown to be older than the FL. However, age-gap vibes came to me more because of Chris Wu's portrayal:
- He spoke in measured tones
- He was economically more established than the FL so always played the card of "I-can-take-responsibility-for-you"
- I don't know how he did it but he was the most passively dominating ML portrayal I have seen. He did little of the overt dominating gestures: manhandling the FL, restricting her, dictating her etc. The FL was actually shown to be quite spunky. However, he still managed to be the more dominating partner in the relationship. I attribute it to the age-gap vibe being right. -
3. Perfeito e Casual
Chinese Drama - 2020, 24 episodes

4. Suparburoot Jorm Jon: Maturot Lohgan
Thai Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
The FL was shown to be a college student who was forced into a marriage with the ML after being kidnapped by criminals. The ML was older, and shown to be quite indulgent of her age-appropriate shenanigans. That was sweet.
