1. O Presente de Deus - 14 Dias
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
This drama has the best characters ever! Smart and fierce Kim Soo Hyun who'll stop at nothing to protect her daughter, the lady was kicking ass and taking names. I seriously need more dramas with heroines like that. Then there's the awesome male lead, tough guy Ki Dong Chan (even though there's no romance here, I could see hearts shooting from his eyes in certain someone's direction *wink*). Little Han Saet Byul, ("Saet Byul-ah!" is now stuck in my head forever lol) is not only adorable but brave just like her mom.
The entire cast did an amazing job. I rooted for the good guys, hated the bad guys and even ended up feeling sorry for some of them. That's the beauty of complex characters, I guess.

3. Encarnação da Inveja
Korean Drama - 2016, 24 episodes
I had a blast watching this. It's a perfect mix of funny and heartwarming moments (and a few sad ones too, but it's never heavy. Rather than that, this drama somehow finds the way to deliver serious issues on a emotional yet lighthearted way). I was completely drawn in by the quirky characters, hilarious situations, romance, bromance and... momance? the moms are a hoot ;) those badass ladies deserve their own drama spinoff.
The cast was perfect. I love, love Gong Hyo Jin and she can do no wrong in my eyes (well, except for Greatest Love, but hey, that terrible script is not her fault). Jo Jung Suk was a pleasant surprise. And I'm not just talking about that beautiful face of his. The man can ACT. His character goes through a lot in the drama, and I feel like I went through every single one of his emotions with him, that's how good he brought his character to life.
This is where I first experienced what people are calling the second lead syndrome, so now I finally get it. But the arrogant lead guy definitely won me over, even though it was still satisfying to watch him crash and burn with jelaousy lmao. It's not like he didn't deserve it. Anyways, that love triangle was hilarious to watch, I loved every minute of it.
And shout out to Kwon Hae Hyo for his wonderful portrayal of Director Oh, world's best and funniest boss. I will never look at the news and weather report the same way again.

4. Força Tarefa 38
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Great cast, smart dialogue, clever schemes, and good team chemistry. At first, I thought that catching tax evaders does not sound very sexy and exciting. WRONG. As it turns out, many of the tax evaders are rich and corrupt assholes, willing to do very bad things to protect their money. Who would have known lol. And my petty ass is always in a mood for a story about teaching bad guys a lesson. Justice is served, biatches!

6. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
To be honest, I didn't give it 10/10 because I wasn't completely sold on romance between the leads. I just couldn't get over the fact that the leading lady is a highschool girl, and the Goblin is, well, Gong Yoo.
BUT, I tell ya, Goblin is pure magic. Prepare to have your mind blown because this drama is visually stunning, well written, and far, far away from being your average kdrama.
The world building was unlike anything I've seen in Dramaland so far. So many beautiful and picturesque scenes; everything about this drama has this kind of whimsical feel to it and it completely sucked me in. The reaper world, the Goblin lore and the whole balance between fantasty elements and the real world was absolutely amazing. The sets are wonderful, special effects are great, and the OST is a delight to listen to.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THE SAME PERSON WROTE GOBLIN AND THE HEIRS. What the actual f... Ok, I'll stop here.

7. Sol do Mestre
Korean Drama - 2013, 17 episodes
This drama is by no means perfect, but I'm not gonna pick it apart because but it's charm, humor, wonderful side characters (hi, Secretary Kim and uncle Seok Cheol!) and amazing leads and their sparky chemistry trump every flaw. It was only my second drama (I've previously watched Heirs and hated it), so my expectations were kinda low and didn't really know anything about kdramas in general. But then the magic happened, I don't think I've ever laughed that much watching a tv show and it HIT ME RIGHT IN THE FEELS. It was just captivating.
I watched a lot of better dramas since but this funny/feelgood drama will forever have a special place in my heart.
Also, that's where I first saw So Ji Sub (his deadpan delivery was HILARIOUS), and that man is kind of a big deal for me ever since. Gong Hyo Jin became my favorite actress, you just can't help but like her natural charm and her dorky ways.

12. Casamento, Não Namoro
Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes
It took a while for this drama to find it's tone, and I'm talking 7 or 8 episodes. I didn't drop it because of the cute leads (OTP alert!) and their funny bickering, more than enough for a rainy day. After that everything was just laugh-out-loud hilarity with a lot of heart, breezy OST and also, a fantastic ending! So, I don't mind closing an eye to uninteresting second leads and our FL somewhat reckless behaviour. This was just SO much fun.
