I would say Republic of China, since it's said to be set during Japanese occupation (1931-1945).

By the way, I noticed Battle of Changsha is listed under Qing Dynasty but the drama takes place between 1938 and 1945 so it should be in the Republic of China category instead, correct?

Hi... I can only say 'amazing' for your tedious  and miraculous list of historical Chinese drama. I wonder if you could recommend me a good and high quality historical drama as good as The Rise of Phoenixes. It has been 3 years since I watch this series and ever since never found anything comparable. I have tried may  recommendation, high rating, popular, you name it. I can last only up to view episodes. Sorry for this I know you are much qualify than only giving people recommendation but I am desperate. Thank you!
