Gemini

Whereas in the two previous episodes, the main characters aren't in a relationship with their crush, in this episode, we're introduced to Hinako who's in a relationship with Ren. Supposedly, Hinako is Ren's girlfriend However, according to Ren, he's not Hinako's boyfriend. Why? It's because Hinako is a Gemini, as said by Momoka, her friend. A Gemini's love is full of wit and they can come off as playing heart to get. I believe this is what Hinako is unintentionally doing, and it led her to see Ren dismissing their relationship and immediately found a new girlfriend. Hinako advised Momoka not to be, as I quote, 'too devoted' to her boyfriend. Hinako's principle of distancing herself from her boyfriend shows that for a Gemini, maintaining a distance is an important factor or else, as I quote again from what Hinako said, the person 'will get bored of you soon'. Perhaps, Hinako has taken it too far. She claimed that she doesn't like to cling to her boyfriend, and Ren felt unheard and unloved. I understand Ren's frustration with Hinako's behaviour, but I dislike how he acted hostile towards her when she was trying to maintain a conversation. What he did at the end was harsh at the end. The good news is that they're never meant to be together.
