I can’t get over this episode—it’s so good!!! Perth and Santa absolutely killed it. There’s just so much trauma and depth to these characters; it’s insane! It’s so sad how you can tell Yotha hasn’t had anyone in his life to care for him. Like, how starved of love and affection do you have to be for something as simple as milk and a tie to make you think, “This is my person”? The way he was hugging Gun—man, it was like he was realizing forthe first time, “So this is what love and care feel like? This is what it’s like to have someone take care of me?” He was holding on for dear life. And when he said, “Sorry in advance if I make you feel sore, but I won’t let you go anywhere,” ugh, it hit so hard. Yotha wasn’t just hugging Gun; hewas clinging to his safe zone. Gun, though, is such an interesting character. He might seem naïve, but he’s so aware of everything going on. He’s curious but knows his boundaries. Like in the bathroom scene, when Yotha said he doesn’t like talking to people, Gun made sure to ask if he was included in that. And later, when Yotha came back with bruises and brushed it off, Gun didn’t push him. He was just like, “Don’t tell me, but let me treat your wounds.” He’s also totally aware of Yotha’s stares and flirting, but he gets flustered and just brushes it off. So cute! The tie scenes, though! Especially the third one, when Yotha literally waited for Gun to wake up just so he could tie it for him—ugh, my heart. Each scene had its own vibe, but they all showed Yotha’s growing fondness for Gun. And the way he kept smiling throughout this episode, plus allthe lingering eye contact? Just perfect. Oh, and Gun going from “Don’t call me puppy” to straight-up flexing it in front of his friends because Yotha called him a beagle? Adorable. That questionnaire scene, though—Yotha handing it to Gun felt like such a deliberate way of pulling him into his world. You could see Yotha’s shyness in his hand gestures, but it also showed how much he cares and wants to understand Gun better.
One negative aura just fell in front of the whole class two negative aura can’t tie a tie. I’m having a lot of fun watching the show but these university ones where they come in as freshman. I’m no longer like oh this is so fun. It’s just making me nervous because I will be a university. Freshman this fall. Scary stuff, man.Okay, so people said their dynamics were similar. They’re both sunshine grumpy but different versions of it. Gun and Youtha are very different from Arc at Arm. Arc is like just a chill guy who’s very honest and very blunt and he’s popular. he has friends he just like doesn’t care. Yotha is awkward. He’s like socially stunted and very nonchalant and doesn’t like people which is very different from arcs, indifference and honesty to people. Yotha does not like people at all. And then guns and arm are similar in some aspects but very different. Arm is very kind and very talkative, but also very wary of his surroundings and getting into relationships. Gun is pretty innocent and naïve, but he knows his way around stuff. He’s also talkative and he’s also kind but I think that they’re pretty different and I think that the show did that pretty well. And also talk a lot, but from the get-go, you could tell that Arc liked arm, no matter how like nonchalant he played off you could read it in his face and his movement and the stuff you would say. Yotha on the other hand you cannot tell a single thing this man is thinking or even saying I don’t even know if he has feelings for a gun at this point or not But in that aspect, they’re also different.Terrible fucking roomate. He looks like a husky. Rizz? Cool. 9.5/10 Okay bye!
Amazing second episode in this arc. Santa's portrayal of Gun is amazing. His acting completely charmed me. I can't wait for next Sunday to watch this series again.
