A must see, with a cherry on top!
What a sweet series! Wouldn't we all be lucky to have the magical power of reading minds!? Especially handy if you liked someone. This story, although not new, is one that captures the heart and mind very quickly. I found myself rooting for so many characters in series. Although there were a number of predictable moments, there were also quite a bit of surprises too. I could see GMMTV creating a few new series off of the storylines in Cherry Magic. For example, I want to see how Jinta and Min turn out and see if Pai and Rock go further in their flirtatiousness. I'm sorry this series is not available all over the world. Hopefully GMMTV can work a deal to make that happen. The cast and crew clearly worked hard on this project. A real must see!Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Not the same cherry magic from Japan ??
Cherry Magic is one of my favourite BLs of all time and one of the most prominent in Japanese BL dramas. Most importantly, the plot is unique and refreshing. The plot is about discovering an ability to read minds when touched, adding an intriguing supernatural element to the romantic narrative. This element injects freshness into the storyline, keeping viewers engaged. However, in the Japanese version, Cherry Magic was criticised because of the pacing of the story line, but the Thai version is way more fast-forward and the plot is somewhat predictable. When you first started to watch the series, you could clearly tell that this was the Thai version of Cherry Magic. From the transport mode to the interior design, it screams that this is the Thai version. Which is really good. But I would prefer if they would select Thai cuisine instead of using Japanese. If both versions were compared, both versions revealed a mix of sincerity and humour. As in the Japanese version, the Thai version notably portrays the exploration of self-acceptance and the journey towards love.As you may have noticed, in the Thai version, most of the time it focuses on humour more than in the Japanese version, and it provides comic relief without overshadowing the emotional core. The comedic elements and indirect satire are well timed, enhancing the overall viewing experience of the viewers. For instance, the dish Morning Glory is stir-fried water spinach, which means the water spinach is withered. In character, in the Japanese version, Adachi is way more introverted than Archie in the Thai version. Archie is talkative; show his emotions rather than Adachi. But I was frustrated in the first two episodes because Tay didn't get many lines when he actually spoke about office-related matters. All he has to do is show his facial expressions and build the storyline through his inner feelings when Archie touches him. I hope that in future episodes he will get some time to speak face-to-face. And the supporting characters in the Thai version are more profound, engaging, helpful for character development, and funny. There are some scenes that don't make any sense. For instance, in episode 1, when Archie screams in the train, people were like, Who is this weirdo? It's way more unrealistic. And I'm not fluent in Japanese or Thai. After watching too many series, I can identify these two languages. But when the boss started to talk, I couldn't detect which language he was using. That's a bit confusing. The Thai version of "Cherry Magic" is as commendable as the Japanese drama and offers an engaging experience for viewers of heartwarming BL drama. I love the first two episodes very much. I hope this series won't be another disappointing work by GMMTV.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Tragic!
I watched the Japanese version of this and absolutely loved it, it was fast paced and funny, and there was so much chemistry between the main leads.I was so excited to watch the new version as I assumed it would be even better than the last one, but no, it was awful.
There was no chemistry between the actors at all, and long long drawn out scenes that I wanted to skip through till I got to the point there was really nothing enjoyable about this show to even make it worth skipping through.
The acting was terrible and the jokes fell flat as a pancake.
I gave up at that point as it was a total waste of time
I can't understand why you would do a remake of an excellent series and make it this bad.
Watch the Japanese version if you like the story, as it's great fun and so much better! :)

A TOUCH OF MAGIC
I have a bad habit which I am sure a number of us do. Thing is if there's an original and it gets a remake, we expect it to either match up to the standards of the original, or even better surpass it. It was the same with ANTIQUE BAKERY, BOYS OVER FLOWERS (this one not a BL but it had a cute bromance in the Thai version and the Chinese Remake METEOR GARDEN) , WHY R U which received a Korean remake which in my opinion felt much better. To mention but a few. And now, here is CHERRY MAGIC, let's dive in.Firstly, I barely give Japanese BLs time, this year it was different because I had fished all the fish in the River to the point of even watching CRAZY HANDSOME RICH, which I miraculously endured more than CHECK OUT. I watched the Japanese Version of Cherry Magic and it was good but if I were to rate it was a 9/10 for me, because I liked the plot, the support character though for some reason, Adachi's character felt Cringe. Seeing the production quality made me raise the stakes for CHERRY MAGIC from THAILAND and now I can in deed say, it was worth the Wait.
Time may pass but our love never grows old, since DARK BLUE KISS, I missed one of my favourite early BL SHIPS PETEKAO and upon learning that they would star as the main couple in CHERRY MAGIC earlier this year, one can imagine how excited it got me. These two depict one of the most intense, funniest and at the same time sweetest Chemistry. It couldn't go unnoticed from the first Episode and it immersed me in the show.
Secondly, KAO has the craziest thoughts and I love it everytime when he puts on that naive face of his. Generally, what I like better than Adachi on him is the fact that he seems to have a much deeper and more sincere understanding of his character, it's hard to find Thai BLS with actors that give justice to their roles that is why for me, this series has hit.
Thirdly Office Romance, hooray. 2023 was the year of many of those, for Thailand, lemme say not so so since the cut version of STEP BY STEP but I must say, as one of my favourite tropes in BL dramas, this is one of the best at executing them. Their idea of an office though being a hardworking environment at times tends to turn into a circus that gives the characters life. The Support cast in a way is in deed very supportive to the plot of this series and not thrown backstage through 90% of horrible acting by the Main leads.
Lastly, I guess the Crown Jewel so far goes to the delivery of the story, from surpassing a number of our expectations, to being perfectly paced, they didn't make it a point to beat around the bush and yet the plot is simple but being executed to its very best.
