Worth watching if you like conspiracy,well built characters…
I was so anxious to see the film and when it was finally available for my country I didn’t hesitate one second when I got the time.Mile, Apo and Tong never disappoints when it comes to perform and deliver .
Even though it was a film it was really intense and I confess that I was a bit lost and confused but I paused sometimes to get my ideas on place and understand the story. For me it’s a good ‘cause it made it interesting.
We can’t deduce the end without watching it entirely and even at the end I was surprised.
I loved how they build intelligent and complex characters my only regret was that it was sooooooooo short.
When you’re in you forget time notions and just dive in the story.

فیلمی با خط داستانی عالی اما پرداخت ضعیف
بعد از دیدن تریلر و مخصوصا موزیک‌ویدیویی که از این فیلم منتشر شد، به شدت منتظر ریلیزش بودم. با انتظارات بالا و دید مثبت شروعش کردم... ومتاسفانه با ناامیدی به اتمام رسوندمش.تیم تولید امکانات زیادی در اختیار داشت که میتونست به بهترین نحو ازشون استفاده کنه و یه اثر به یادموندنی بسازه:
بازیگر هایی که شناخته شده و محبوبن
خط اولیه‌ی قوی داستان
المان‌ها و اشاره‌های فرهنگی
طراحی لباس عالی
دکور و صحنه‌سازی باکیفیت و...
اما متاسفانه همشون قربانی فیلمنامه‌ی به شدت ضعیف و تدوین پیچیده و بی‌نظم شدن.

قرار بود خِم و وان که به اشتباه به قتل متهم شده بودن، برای پاک کردن نام خودشون به مان‌سوانگ بیان و اونجا اسناد خرابکاری یه عده که گمان میرفت در حال آماده‌سازی برای شورش بر علیه تاج و تخت بودند رو پیدا کنن.
بعد از اومدن به مان‌سوانگ هم فهمیدن با چاترا منافع مشترک دارن و تصمیم گرفتن همکاری کنن.
انقدر باگ فیلمنامه زیاد بود که واقعا نمیدونم چجوری فیلم رو تموم کردم و واقعا باید ازش چه نتیجه‌ای بگیرم؟
شخصیت‌پردازی‌ها به شدت ضعیف بود. وان دچار یه تروما بود که به شدت روی رفتارش تاثیر داشت اما هیچ جوره این تروما رو برای بیننده توضیح دقیق ندادن.
چرا خِم به این راحتی به چاترا اعتماد کرد؟
چرا صاحب مان‌سوانگ یجا در حال همکاری با فروشندگان اسلحه بود و چند روز بعد مقابلشون؟
هونگ فقط برای گیر انداختن یه مهره‌ی ساده مثل پسرعموش مرگش رو جعل کرد؟ و بعد از اونهمه تلاش برای افشای هویت فروشنده و خریداران اسلحه جلوی شاه راما، تقریبا هیچ اتفاقی نیفتاد به جز اینکه وان بی دلیل و احمقانه کشته شد.
صحنه‌های احساسی انقدر بدون مقدمه و در موقعیت‌های نامناسب قرار داشت که هیچ تاثیری نمیذاشت.
و در نهایت قرار بود به داستان یک رقصنده و نوازنده پرداخته بشه که کل تبلیغاتی که در این زمینه شده بود محدود شد به یکی دو سکانس که واقعا حیف بود.
برای یک بار دیدن خوبه.
ولی به هیچ عنوان هیچ انتظاری ازش نداشته باشید.

No es lo que esperaba, pero no está mal
No sé si es cosa mía, pero creo recordar que vendieron esta película como un romance entre un tamborilero y un bailarín y de esto no he visto nada, desgraciadamente y si, pienso que deberían aprovechar el MileApo mucho más porque, aparte de ser una pareja con una química brutal, están en su mejor momento.La historia que nos presentan no está mal, aunque hay momentos en los que la trama flojea por las decisiones sinsentido que hace cualquier personaje, como por ejemplo, que estés en una misión de infiltración arriesgada y vayas contándole el plan a todo el mundo… pero se deja ver y entretiene bastante.
¡Las actuaciones son increíbles! Todos me sorprendieron mucho para bien. Ya sabía que eran buenos actores, pero Apo me sorprendió especialmente, ojala tenga más papeles de acción y arriesgadas, en general porque el chico tiene mucho potencial.
Pero lo mejor de todo es la iluminación, estética, vestuario… toda la cinematografía es increíble. Muy a la altura de Be on cloud, las tramas deben mejorarlas mucho, pero en estos aspectos, son brillantes.
Yo la recomendaría porque, aunque sea una película de 2 horas, no se te hace larga en absoluto.

A Good Popcorn Movie
Indeed, this is a visually stunning movie that is certainly entertaining. With a big bag of popcorn (or snack of your choice) and a relaxing chair, you will thoroughly enjoy this movie. Filled with handsome men, a relatively interesting but a bit slow-plodding plot at times, elegant chorography, breathtaking cinematography, and beautiful costumes, you are in for a treat. Is it memorable? Well, no, not really, but it sure is fun to watch. The plot is manifestly implausible, slow in the middle, yet it worked in the end as entertainment. The ending is to be expected. There are no hidden meanings, and the story does not go deep. To coin a trite phrase, admittedly, it is what it is. Do not read more into it. This is a beautiful, compelling, and colorful story. The costumes, choreography, cinematography, and set designs are all exquisite. So, grab some popcorn or your favorite snack and watch this very enchanting movie and then go to bed. This was amazing. From start to finish, I am amazed at how such a great job both the cast and the production team did. Cinematography, costumes, colors, historical touch, plot, acting... everything was a pleasure to the eyes. Seeing Thai culture so vividly made me realize how rich and beautiful it actually is. To be fair, I don't know much about Thai history or traditional art. After watching this, I am intrigued to learn more.I expected the story to be good too, but I would never guess the plot would be that detailed and exciting! I really enjoyed it. MileApo's chemistry was of course cherry on top. However, if you expect any romance or BL, just don't. There is no romance, yet it never feels lacking because the plot is just so good. Be On Cloud sure knows how to do their job. Especially, if you are into period movies and looking for some traditional elements, you can't miss this.

Great period piece
I need BL fans shot are MileApo shippers to stop deluluing themselves into thinking this is a BL. Not everything has to be a BL just because it has your have some fvcked up gay fetish. I can understand if you are in your delulu era with KinnPorsche. But babes this isn’t KP and they weren’t googling eye each other like they were eye fvcking each other either. Y’all in the reviews and comment section are some weird ass sickos because if that’s chemistry then everybody who looks my way is chemistrying with me. This is why I really intensely dislike BL shippers can’t get off the ship to respect that Mile and Apo are actors. Not come fanfic fvckbuddies like you’re wet dreaming about.This was a great movie. Every actor gave a brilliant performance. The intrigue and suspense was all there. From the villagers, market shopkeepers, to kitchen staff and housekeepers to the dancers and courtesans. They were equally good as the politicians, clans people, the performance troupes. Definitely, Tiana, Hong, Wan, Chathra and Khem delivered grade A performances.
Here is my only gripe, this isn’t a reflection of the story but something I know I have seen too many times over before.
1. I know Hong didn’t died but it was a rouse to flesh out the killer.
2. I knew Wan was the one who set off the firecracker as soon as I saw him go to Wichiendej.
However, I thought it was Wichiendej who killed Master Cheng. I guess in a roundabout way, Wichiendej did with his manipulation of Triang.
Overall, it was good storytelling. The pace was good. The flow of the series was good. Nothing was slow as molasses or speeding through things.
Someone said this was originally 3 hours which was edited to 2 hours. Not sure how true this is but I think 2 hours is just fine. I rather have it edited than sit through extra filler parts to make a movie drag on and on.
