This episode saw our typically cool ML in a weakened state, and our usually youthful, goofy FL adopt a more mature, caretaker role. The character each grew in their depth in this episode, and as we the audience were watching them support each other -- we also fell in love with them.

I don't know how directors can find such amazing artists. every role played well by all artist. Zhao Lusi played a very good role, she was pretty, cute, funny, and very suitable to be Sang Zhi. Chen Zheyuan's role is also very good as Duan Jiaxu. I really really like the drama, the novel and the Manhua are very good, this drama is also very good.

This episode was heavier in tone than the previous one, and loaded with past and present pain.
CZY acted all the emotions of exhaustion, quiet exasperation, physical pain and mental torment from his workload and the harassment by Jiang Ying.
ZLS was acting correspondingly as a conflicted young woman, still trying to free herself from the remnants of her former puppy love, unable to fit in with her roommates and fellow students' plans, and taking upon herself a sudden responsibility for her former tutor's health troubles.
