Mister Bai confesses to the police that he was on the mountain collecting herbs. Dan Yang, even in the hospital, makes scientific calculations trying to find a solution for the submarine's stabilizers. Hong Mei tells him to trust himself. Dan Yang retorts that a scientist works with doubt. And Hong Mei says that then they have something in common.
