Gay straight pairing ... Light BL vibes ... A good one though
As my headline suggests .. they made a gay- straight pairing. Maybe that's why there was no intimate or even a kiss scene between the leads but their chemistry was bang on!The story moves slowly and gets interesting as it progresses.
The acting is pretty good.
The theme seems to be BL but it is light hearted comic cop story with little sadness and twist here and there.
My BL heart really wished for a different ending or atleast a final kiss between the leads to make up for the ending bcoz even though one of the lead claimed himself to be "Straight" but you can find him slowly falling for the other lead.
Anyway, overall a good movie to watch and kill time.

Super Sweet and Lovely - a Movie to Smile for
Well this will be a short review, I just want to say that I had low expectations and it surprised me a lot. To me the may plot is the relation between the MCs so it was good would loved some more romanticism but ok, the second plot was to some extent predictable but ok too.I would say that is a really good film for a rainy day of a winter night because it will surly warm the hearts of anyone who watch it.
It is definitely worth watching even more if you watch it with your significant other.

Stumbled this bcs I got hooked with the trailer and how the stories goes. Heres what I get.(Pro) : -This has to be the best storyplot in taiwanese bromance/bl genre. The story is well cooked.
- Wu Minghan(Greg) really carried the from the beginning into the end with his acting
- The comedy is really well done :))))))))
- Did I cry ? Yes !
(Cons) : - Great Story line but I wish execution was better. Bcs theres so many stories in here that make you bawl your eyes out.
- Missed opportunity in some scene, theres a scene that actually can make you cried but they keep changing and jumping in the other words it actully has fast-deliver story execution. I just wish it was slower so I can enjoy some part like the part under the bridge it was missed opportunity and also the bar scene it was a good opportunity but again they ruined it !
-The Unnecesary Nudity, theres a lot of nudity in this movie that really seems often appeared. They dont really have to show it anyway since they have a strong storyline tho.
-CGI, Its not bad it just I dont really care bcs i came for the story not for anything else so yeah :)))))))))))))))

• obvious naman sa title kung ano magiging storyline nito, & yes tungkol 'to sa isang police na nakapulot ng red envelope not knowing that will lead to him marrying a ghost.• i can say na maganda ang flow ng story since magaganda talaga mostly ang napproduce ng taiwan. this is not a love story at all, but it's still a good way to waste time. nag-expect nga lang ako ng isang kiss pero wala bEh, lumbay.
• halata naman na may edited na mga scenes but the editing skills are good. also, casts are good. maraming scenes na natawa ako, and sa part na nagtanong 'yong co-worker "who are you talking to?" ta's teary eyed aq sa sagot ni wu ming han na "my husband" T___T
• overall, ito 'yong movie na kareco-reco kasi masasabi kong may quality, maganda ang twist, and hindi gano'n kalumbay ang ending unlike sa MODC (ang layo hane pero naisip ko kasi modc lol). want ko ng sequel nito ta's magmeet ulit sila pls pls pls!!

semi - Aksi ; kriminal ; horror beraroma BL.
Menurutku film ini punya cerita yang unik, walaupun disuguhkan dengan durasi yang sangat lama yaitu dua jam ; namun entah kenapa selama menonton aku tidak merasa ada di fase bosan. Setiap scene membuatku penasaran sehingga memacuku untuk terus menonton film ini hingga akhirnya sampai difase aku merasakan keseruan dan menariknya film yang satu ini. Mengisahkan seorang polisi pria yang secara tidak sengaja harus menikahi seorang hantu pria. Walaupun terlihat punya cerita yang sederhana, namun film ini tidak hanya memberikan cerita semudah itu, film ini memiliki banyak sekali life meaning yang bagus. Dari segi warna ; film ini punya saturasi yang rendah, seperti film horror. jejak CGI masih terlihat, namun cukup bagus, dialog dan alurnya mudah difahami. Penokohannya saya suka walaupun ada beberapa scene yang saya tidak menyukainya, entah kenapa mungkin beberapa scene memang "it's not my coffee" aja gt. Brilliantly done!
Honestly this is sooo good. It had me laughing, eye rolling, and even crying.The story is unique and fun. I loved Mao and how he shot him down every time with his gay stereotypes. The mole was a surprise too which was good and the dad at the end ?
The two main leads worked so well together and I was so glad when Ming Han gave Chen a piece of his mind. I think he loved Mao in the end in his own way.
I could totally watch this again too, it was funny and that’s always a plus! Also despite knowing it’s impossible you stop find yourself hoping there’s a way around death for these two ?
It was such a good watch you need to go try it.

Great Movie
I really enjoyed watching this movie! Acting by all was really good especially the leads they did an extremely well job. Honestly I was disappointed in the ending I was really rooting for them, by some miracle, to get together and of course live happily ever after! I mean who wouldn’t. other than that it really was a fun movie to watch and I’m glad I did!what would be even better though is if they did a sequel and then they get together and live happily ever after! of course writers gotta write a whole new story, but it would be worth it! Great Job everyone including the Director ???

NOT a BL, but worth the watch
I had hoped to watch this movie, since it was released in Taiwan, bunt unfortunately I had to wait half a year.I'm an absolute BL addict, I thought this could be another supernatural-loves-human BL. But it isn't. It's something different. Something very funny, chaotic and mostly thought-provoking. An homophobic ass of a policeman, badmouthed gays and gets himself into trouble, picks up an envelope with remnants of a dead gay guy, and so he accepted the marriage to the ghost.
So, maybe now there will be some hints to the story, stop reading if you won't be spoiled.
I love how the two guys find a way to understand each other an embrace the strengths and weaknesses of the other and try to fulfill the last wishes of the ghost. With a lot of action, chaos, fun and a lot of verbal battles.
Although the policeman is brash and cocky, he has a sweet heart and a soft spot for his ghostly husband. I can't describe it, but it has catched me off guard. It's kind of heartwarming, shows how you develop an understanding for things you thought you wouldn't ever understand and how some impacts in your life can change you into a better person. I can really recommend the movie.

It’s an okay movie
I don’t often watch movies or shows that aren’t korean but i decided to switch it up today since it kept getting promoted on netflix.The movie wasn’t BAD per say but it wasn’t that good either (in my opinion).
I feel like this movie was so exaggerated and so many things kept happening at once that I think at some point during the movie I just completely forgot what the main plot was or what the hell was happening at all?.
Though i can’t lie it was extremely funny at times, some scenes had me giggling so it made it watchable.
The acting isn’t that bad either so that made it a bit more bearable as well.
Overall it isn’t something I would watch again but if you’re a fan of these type of movies or these actors then you might like it a lot.
On another note i’m glad I tried watching something else for once. Might’ve not been my cup of tea but I finished it so that counts for something!

What is this??? *In a funny way*
From the start to end I was like "What I'm just watching". The plot was a bit interesting and weird, and it develops exactly like that. I enjoyed in some parts but other parts were just boring. Anyway, it wasn't bad, just not how I expected. It definitely could be better (or worse ??).The acting was fine. The chemistry make it funnier but I didn't buy it when they were so connected with each other, like when that happened?
Anyway, it was a little too long but ok.

A GOOD CREATIVE COMEDY, FAIR TO GAY BUT MAYBE UNFAIR TO STRAIGHT
What I like about this movie is only the friendship that the two leads have built althrough their searching of who killed the Gay ghost.I thought I was not going to finish it but since the acting and the comedy is great and entertaining, thankfully I was able to finish it.
the story is good and easy to understand but I don't like it, but since they have elaborated it nicely, It is good enough
I liked also the effects, I notice that this movie have many computer effect and it is really good and looks real !
And having a plot like a gay ghost and a homophobic police being entangled to one another is such a good Idea.
What I realize about this movie is that maybe they are trying to make gays and straight understand one another, because along the way, the police straight man understood the gay ghost when he helped him until the moment where he was talking to the ghost gay's father, which I skipped some parts of it by the way, and yeah, But I think that it is unfair that gays are always the one who needs understanding, even the fact that in this movie the writer MAYBE wants straight people understand LGBTQIA+, I hope that this is an eye opener also for LGBTQIA+ specially gays to be fair to straights people also because it should not always be that gays are the ones who are being understood and have adjusted into.
know that we cannot make every people agree with us, if they understand us that is great if not, we should not push them to eat what we are eating just because we think it is good, I am saying this because I have seen so many unfair things to the straight people in this movie.
