Bokura no Shokutaku Episode 1
Yutaka, a salary man, is not good at eating with others due to an incident in his childhood. He always eats alone, and his menu consists of homemade bomb-size rice balls and supermarket side dishes. One day, as usual, when he's about to eat lunch at the park, a kid, Tane, asks for Yutaka's rice ball, so he gives it to him. The next day, Tane and his older brother - Minoru came to apologize, but due to Tane said that Yutaka's rice balls were too delicious, Minoru asked Yutaka to teach him how to make rice balls. Although his mind was disconcerted, Yutaka still paid a visit to their house. The 3 are making rice balls and eating together.

that was the perfect first episode for me!! it didn't reveal too much but it also didn't bore me for a second. i actually lost track of time while watching it. i have a feeling this is gonna be a 10/10 drama for me, but we'll see. i love the slice of life vibes to it and how nothing is "high stakes". it's just very cute and fluffy. i also really like how we get struggles faced by the rice ball guy (sorry... i don't know names yet) and also how he is healing from eating with the brothers. AND THE KID IS SOOOO CUTE!! p.s. the rice balls made me think of jjk... iykyk

Homework is for the weak-minded. and I haven't started studying history, but at least I have this. This was so goddamn cute, and I really like it. I started it on impluse 25 minutes ago, and I haven't looked back. its cute, and I love it. I also haven't watched a new drama in 30 days. I like the dynamic here; its cute. Very cute. Okay bye!

watching this am 90% sure, already read the manga. still been so long that don't feel like i know the plot (even though, pretty sure it aint gonna be complex) so looking forward to this. **************************************************************************what there was in this ep was adorable, sweet & very wholesome - even though Yutaka's PTSD is infuriating, who the frack talks sh*t to a child eating?!? (sadly know people like this) but usually u don't take it to heart - guess in Yutaka's case, it was more then some harsh words. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************loved the cast - the kid is adorable (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)

I loved this first episode and the way the characters are introduced. It was very heartwarming and I love that itdoesn’t seem rushed. The main characters have a lot of charisma and I look forward to seeing how their relationship evolves. The firstepisode is amazingly good!
