High school senior Hira Kazunari has suffered a stammering problem since he was a kid, and so has his interpersonal relationships. His parents bought him a camera, which he uses to record his life, only to realize that it is full of disappointments.
Entering his senior high school year, Kazunari is even more nervous than usual, and stutters even as he introduces his name... At this very moment, Kiyoi Sou enters the room, and the class goes silent, thus resolving Kazunari's crises. I love the paving of it as it is engaging to me as it is too heavy plus with them acknowledgement of each other is a major step in all dramas should have

Entah latar belakang utama apa yang diberikan oleh series ini, namun sepanjang film sangat dipenuhi dengan suara monolog sang tokoh utama, seolah-olah si tokoh memang punya pemikiran yang masih "denial" bimbang akan segala hal. Tapi walaupun begitu saya pribadi cukup enjoy-able walaupun menurut saya series ini tidak punya konflik utama yang krusial. Banyak sekali scene yang sangat dramatis banget malah terlalu ber-drama, seperti ada beberapa bunga ketika Kiyoi masuk kelas, lalu perasaan Hira yang terlalu kaku di kelas; itu semua bagiku terlalu di buat-buat. Dari segi dialog menurutku mudah dimengerti ya, walaupun kebanyakan berisi monolog untuk episode kali ini. Beberapa scene juga agak mengganggu seperti "pembulian" dan pembawaan Hira dalam menjabarkan dirinya sendiri di dalam kehidupannya seperti orang yang putus asa atau pesimis. Saya akan melanjutkan series ini, terlebih karena durasinya yang pendek serta jumlah episodenya yang sedikit, membuat saya semakin penasaran, apa sih yang disajikan dalam series ini sebenarnya.

The intense start of the super loner kid falling in insta love with the popular kid. I think Kiyoi is always interesting to watch and pay attention to. Hira is a great emo protagonist and I enjoy watching how his own low esteem colors his world.

idk how i feel as is watching Hira in the introduction scene, made me so uncomfortable cause i personally hate being in the spotlight. get how bad being in that situation really is. so just cringed watching him and wanted that scene to end. didn't help that everyone else though that was hilarious, they freakin moron's like most teens r.Kiyoi is indeed beautiful and his walking in late - was a godsend and yet his calling Hira "disgusting" just annoyed me, and i can see that he likes Hira and maybe cause of that he is pushing him away. fighting with himself(?), his attraction? idk. but the mean boy pulling on the girl he like's, hair - is an old trope that's easy to see through. that's the reason he got in the way when someone other then the moron's in his group tried to bully Hira. infantile logic of "i can abuse what's mine, but others can't..." *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the reason i'm on the fence is Hira, he is too sweet and worse he keeps disparaging himself. let alone agreeing whenever others talk down to him and just apologizes - so seeing Kiyoi being mean and Hira agreeing and apologizing - let alone running around to do his bidding, all cause he's in-love is making my heartache and this an very uncomfortable watch. but let's hope this get positive soon
