Amazing

Just like Sword and Fairy 4, this drama looks like a Final Fantasy game too. I'm surprised in first episode the ML already met FL. So they were like brothers and sisters at first. Their chemistry is good. I just love when the OST plays. I know that Zhou Shen is one of the singers of their OST especially on the opening damn that vocal is so impressive. Very fit in this drama. Then goes the mysterious Zhaoyan. Even she acts a man there, she's really beautiful. I don't know but I love her character more than Qi. Qi is cute but I dunno, I wanted her some improvements in acting. Her voice is, I know it's normal but yeah, hope I will get used to it. Also, I like Xu Kai's other character Bian than Jinzhao. I'm surprised to see Jia Nai from The Last Immortal here even though she's only a guest. I just wish she can be a support role but yeah that's how it is.

I just wonder how SNF6 will be talking about sword or fairy as in its title drama. Or is there something important artifact in the future? Maybe in future episodes. Highly recommended too especially to those games and loves adventure stories.

A very Exciting and Sweet Adorable Main Lead stars

Yu Shuxin and Xu Kai potrayed their roles perfectly as Yue Qi and Jinzhao / Bian Luohuan. They have a very good onscreen chemistry and great acting capabilities. The OST's and fighting scenes are amazing and well exexuted too ! Highly recommended to watch out for this 2024.
Esther Yu being able to show the character of Yue Qi as a bubbly, innocent, kind, and strong Lady Yue Qi. Yu Shuxin also the one who dubbed her own voice in Sword And Fairy 6 that's why she's really a very talented actress and singer who sung the two OST's of this action, romance, fantasy, adventure drama series.

Yu shuxin acting skills is getting more and more wonderful, I'm not a fan of xianxia dramas but yu shuxin xianxia dramas is on another level , she is good in both xianxia and wu xia , there are many sword and fairy seasons but this one is going to be the best season with best cast and storyline, although there are many seasons but you don't need to watch another season to watch this drama , because the storyline everything is different but idk why the name is same but anyway this one of the best xianxia drama no one can defeat yu shuxin when it comes to cute looks , if anyone reading this comment and haven't watched this drama yet i would say just go for it ,also if you don't know yu shuxin yet i would recommend to check out her dramas ,she is a great actress !

I watched the other version of this series, Sword and Fairy 4. This was better than the series. But no matter how hard I tried to watch this series, I could not succeed. So I couldn't watch it. I'm stuck. I endured all these episodes for Xu Kai but it didn't work. Even he couldn't save it. Because even he is grinning like what am I doing in this series? To that degree. I didn't like him at all in this series. I love it too, but I'm sorry to those who love it. It didn't happen. The story is complicated. It is not clear what happened. It varies depending on your expense. The audience is surprised. What are we watching? What's the purpose. What is wanted, what is done. Where and why are we going? I did not understand. I won't stop those who understand. The actors too, especially Yu Shu Xin. good player. In this role, with this tearful face, this funnyness, this naivety, you realize that it didn't happen. Then, when you watch that purity, you can say that it suits him. I couldn't figure out this player. His face is always the same. I kept saying this when I watched his previous series. Let him try laughing a little, getting angry, changing his crying face. It isn't happening. I don't think it happened. I was surprised by what those who viewed it positively, loved it, and even gave it 10 out of 10 saw what they saw and why they gave this rating. Of course, it is their opinion, I respect it. But I was surprised. Maybe Xu Kai fans. But even he couldn't save the series. I wish he had saved himself. I am sad. Wasteful waste. Let the scriptwriter and director watch it again. They realize that it is a shame.

I have always been a fan of xinxia/wuxia dramas, with series like UNTAMED, Eternal Love, Love and Redemption, The Starry Love, and Word of Honor captivating my attention in the past. Now in 2024, a new drama has taken the top spot in my list of favorites - SWORD & FAIRY. From the gripping ost to the intricate storyline and the stellar acting, this drama has truly captured my heart. Xu Kai, who portrays the characters Yue Jin Zhao and Bian Luo Huan with incredible depth and emotion. His portrayal of these complex characters has truly impressed me, and he has quickly become one of my top three favorite actors in China—I wasn't initially a fan of the him, despite having seen him in "Falling Into Your Smile" multiple times (lol), I have now found myself completely enamored with him. His portrayal of both JinZhao/Luo Huan was truly incredible. There were moments where I found myself rooting for Huan, and other times where I was firmly on Jin Zhao's side. Their friendship and shared journeys were so well-developed and heartfelt, it was impossible not to be drawn in. Every single character in the series, from the main protagonists to the supporting cast, delivered outstanding performances. I have to give credit to everyone involved in the creation of this series, as their hard work truly paid off. "Sword and Fairy" stands out from other stories or series I have watched before. It doesn't rely on tired tropes like families torn apart by conflict, or protagonists pitted against each other due to their opposing natures. There is no betrayal among the characters, which was a refreshing change for me. I appreciate the unique and refreshing take on the xinxia/wuxia genre that this series brings to the table.

Watching Sword and Fairy was a deeply emotional experience for me, especially when it came to certain characters who really touched my heart. I found myself shedding tears for them, feeling a connection that I didn't feel with the more villainous characters. Each character in the series seemed to have their own unique purpose, and even those with negative intentions had motivations that I could empathize with. One character in particular, Ming, really stood out to me and brought me to tears.

The OST of Sword and Fairy also played a significant role in my emotional connection to the series. Among all my favorite OSTs, the songs from Sword and Fairy, especially "MIRACLE" by JS, have topped my list. There's something about that song that resonates with me on a deep level, bringing to mind memories of my mom and melting my heart with its poignant lyrics. The lyrics speak to the power and beauty of love, reminding me of the importance of connection and resilience in the face of challenges. Lines such as, "Love is the most beautiful meaning in life" and "Love never leaves and is not afraid of ups and downs of reunion" When I listen to the OSTs and read their translations, the effect is truly unique and indescribable. I found myself unable to skip past the intro and outro of each episode, as they helped me understand the deeper meaning behind S&F. The OSTs really captured the essence of the series and added another layer of emotion to my viewing experience.

There was something truly special about it that left me yearning for more, even though I understand the impossibility of extending its storyline further. It's natural to want to hold onto something that has brought us joy and entertainment, and in this case, I find myself wishing for just a few more eps/special eps to delve deeper into the characters and their journeys. The ending felt like a bittersweet farewell—Perhaps, in an ideal world, there would be a few special eps to tie up loose ends and give fans like myself the closure we crave.

Wow, I'm enamored with Esther Yu's performance in "Fairy and the Devil," especially alongside Dylan Wang, and my admiration for her only grows as she shares the screen with Xu Kai in "Sword and Fairy"– my three favorite actors! Where do I even begin to express my enthusiasm for this Chinese Drama "Sword and Fairy"?

Esther's portrayal is simply adorable; she embodies the character with such charm that if I had a daughter, I'd hope she'd be just like her. The intricate weaving of the storyline by the writers is truly commendable. A heartfelt thank you to the writers for their incredible work!

Let's talk about Xu Kai – OMG, not only did he flawlessly deliver lines for two characters, but he also brought a third one to life without uttering a single word (saying that metaphorically)! The seamless production of scenes featuring all three Xu Kais on screen is a testament to the phenomenal work of the screen production team. Xu Kai, your portrayal of two characters is nothing short of extraordinary – I applaud you wholeheartedly.

Esther Yu faced a similar challenge, memorizing lines for one character and bringing her to life with such grace. Again, a big thank you to the screen producer for skillfully presenting two Esthers in one scene. The love between the two characters was beautifully depicted, and I found myself rooting for them till the very end. Speaking of which, that final scene left me wanting more – writer, what was that? I yearned for them to embrace each other with open arms!

The supporting cast, who stood by the two leads, also deserve recognition for their remarkable performances. Every actor and actress breathed life into their roles, making the story truly come alive for me. From the captivating set to the exquisite costumes, the stunning martial arts sequences to the enchanting animation – every aspect of the production was executed with perfection.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved for a job well done. This drama wouldn't have been a perfect 10 for me without the dedication and talent of every member of the cast and crew.

Xu Kai fans please be kind.....

Sorry this drama is stupid....
Both this one and other one airing same time with Ju Jingyi & Chen Zheyuan....

As I said on other review, I get these are popular Chinese video games but making it into 36 episode drama not best idea.... Mario Bros iconic Nintendo game but shocking movie.... Story is too childish, characters acting like they are in kindergarten....

Xu Kai, last year he was amazing.... I loved Snow Eagle Lord & Wonderland of Love.... That is Xu Kai at his best, darker serious cold male lead type.... This version of him warm and childish, sorry doesn't work, go back to your strengths being Wuxia fighting cold male lead, your are the best at that..... I don't blame him, it's obvious character style set for him....

Esther is sweet, beautiful face, lovely smile.... I get you are sweet warm type which does work for you.... There is a line between sweet/warm and just plain annoying, that line has been crossed.... Please steer away from these type of scripts ....

Wan Peng will say very adorable for the 3 episodes I watched.... I can see her doing well as cold female fighting Wuxia type in future dramas similar to Zhao Lusi in Who rules the World ...

Total watched 3 episodes and 5 minutes of E4, I tried, I tried 3 times after dropping it twice about can't force myself anymore..... Not for me.... Just don't like version of characters being played not the actors themselves.... Story seems bit more for younger audience....

Please be nice, just my opinion.... If you are enjoying it ignore my opinions and continue to enjoy.....
