Sigh. I really tried hard to like this drama and as you can see in my reviews to the episodes some aspects were really good, but overall, after finishing it, I don't feel very happy about it. There were many flaws. After Kieta Hatsukoi I don't think a kiss is necessary in a BL Drama but..wtf was this kiss at the end? Shinwoo was fiiiine af, but TK? Like. Dude. Are you alive? Do something. I am so tired of such bad kisses, for real. No passion, no feelings, nada. T_T I'll guess I will end up rating this drama around 6/10 because it just didn't give me so much good feelings. Even I liked some scenes and the messages behind it, I just don't feel it. I had a rough start with it, but I just can't lay my finger on this feeling to describe it. Maybe it's just the whole thing in once. The development seems a bit off. TK is so fast over Daon, Shinwoo and his time is super short. And..weirdly enough I don't think I feel any chemistry between the actors anymore. I think it was just because Daon and Shinwoo are really handsome and their acting is good. But in conclusion with TK, it feels a bit..off? When I see them together, I see the emotions from Shiwoon, but I hardly see anything from TK, so it's hard to call it chemistry when I just fell for one actor. Well. Oops.
Guess it just wasn't my thing. But the outtakes at the end were funny!
I'm confusion, who is lee taesung? Cause the teacher said his name as if he knew him. at first I thought it might have been a spoiler to cherry blossoms after winter, but his name is jo taesung.... Aaaahhh molla anyways I enjoyed this episode. And the drama as a whole.
Even with this Drama not having the 1 hr eps usually Kdramas have it's such a fleshed out story where we can't help but love the characters and man the ending is just so good. The Birthday Party was a suprise but a welcome one. I am glad they gave that importance to the teacher because if it wasn't for him they all probably not have met like they did in the drama.Tae Kyung and Shin Woo are just perfect and happy and not shying away from showing that they are together and that takes so much courage and also they have their Trusty friends Nam Gung and So Hee to defend them!Honestly I love Nam Gung and So Hee's friendship. The positive changes in her character is because of having such an amazing friend like Namgung. Honestly Nam Gung is truly a Gem of friend all the others are lucky to have. He is protective of all of them and does not pick sides and does everyone justice.I love how Da On backed down without fuss when he understood that Tae Kyung chose Shin Woo and now are continuing to be good friends with both of them. The Epilogue is also so cute and just gives such pleasant happy feelings to me. So well done.
This one is definitely going to get many repeat watches
Everyone did an amazing job with their characters and the story may have been relatively simple, but it was perfectly executed. This show is just pure joy to watch.
Warning: This is pretty much just me dumping my thoughts in the middle of the night. I was almost about to make a review for the show but then I realized I mainly wanted to talk about the endgame. Before I begin, I'd like to say I have always been team Shinwoo. I feel like this is important to note so I don't sound like someone suffering from Second Lead syndrome. My main issue was how they handled Taekyung and Daon's story. A lot of people had some hatred towards Daon because they were rooting for Shinwoo (but I mean, please... they're characters), which kind of justified the storyline for them. But from my perspective, it just seems so unrealistic to me that Taekyung lost feelings for Daon so quickly, especially when he found out that Daon felt the same way. Did I accidentally skip an episode? How did Taekyung suddenly change his feelings so fast? Since I was team Shinwoo, I was incredibly pleased that he and Taekyung ended up together, but it was honestly too rushed. Oh well... I guess I just felt very bad for Daon. I feel like they could've given him more closure or something. On the bright side, the Shinwoo and Taekyung kisses made me grin so wide. The peck was honestly cuter than the kiss, it just made my heart flutter so much. Sigh, I'm gonna miss this show.
