Tout simplement magnifique , j’ai adoré du début à la fin les jeux d’acteurs m’ont tellement transporté et j’ai pleuré toutes les larmes de mo corps. J’ai partagé chaque émotion avec les acteurs pour dire combien ils sont bons.
J’aime le fait que l’amour entre nos deux protas se soit construit petit à petit se basant sur la confiance et l’admiration. Le prota aimait tellement la prota qu’il était prêt à tout pour la voir heureuse .
Les autre personnage n’en reste pas moins attachant aussi . Les moment drôles m’ont tué de rire ?
J’espère tellement les voir jouer ensemble encore .

A MUST WATCH DONT HESITATE! IT GETS BETTER AS YOU PROGRESS I PROMISE!

I honestly had a tough time wrapping my head around the heavy politics but by the end it all made sense. I’m glad I didn’t drop it. Itsssss soooo goooddd. The trauma in this drama makes sense. I absolutely hate it when every drama uses trauma as their plot, here using trauma as a part of the plot made so much sense.

Can we pleaseeee thank the writer they have done so well. The balance between fun,sadness,pain,happiness is just perfect ? .

For me it’s def a 9.5

However I wish I could see them get married & have kidssss ? Ik it isn’t necessary but their chemistry asks for ittttt.

This is not an ordinary Cinderella story

For the first time I watched a historical drama that didn't use the wuxia and xianxia genres (I don't really like those two genres), I was looking for a historical drama with a romance, comedy genre and wrapped in a little political intrigue, and luckily I found this drama. If you are looking for a fast-paced romantic drama, then this drama is not for you. The love story of Cheng Shaosang and General Ling Buyi builds slowly, the audience is shown how their love story goes up and down until they are finally together, but even though the storyline is very slow, I didn't get bored watching it. There are so many story lines that would be a shame to miss, the stories of other characters are no less interesting for us to follow.

Cheng Shao Shang is a girl who doesn't get enough attention from her parents, but she has a brave personality, especially in standing up for herself when she is bullied by others. You won't see a weak girl in Cheng Shaosang. She is a girl with strong principles. Ling Buyi was a charismatic general. At a young age, he managed to lead and win many battles. He was nicknamed the 'God of War'. He is an 'alpha male', his character is very strong, domineering, but when he falls in love, he turns into a gentle tiger. He is willing to do anything for the people he loves, even though he has a mysterious background story.

The character of Emperor Wen is one of my favorite characters after Cheng Shaosang and Ling Buyi. Usually the character of an emperor in historical dramas is made scary and full of tense charisma, but not Emperor Wen. He was a strict emperor, but also a lovey-dovey father who loved his family.

Overall, this drama is worth to watch! with extraordinary production, the crew who produced this drama succeeded in giving us a beautiful cinematography and extraordinary acting from the actors. In particular, I give the highest appreciation to Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi who succeeded in playing the characters Ling Buyi and Cheng Shaosang. Their abilities as actors cannot be doubted!

The best historical drama

I loved LLTG so much, it's so hard to find similar historical drama which made me rewatch it no matter the length of the episodes, I loved each n everything in this drama so much. No ckt was annoying or irritating as such, but I loved the king the most in this drama? he had such nice comic timing n was like a breathe of fresh air amongst the historical dramas king roles. I have literally watched so many historical dramas becos of LLTG to find any such similar one where I can watch n enjoy everything but didn't. This would always remain my no1 historical cdrama n nothing surpasses this. The acting, cinematography, chemistry between leads evrything is top notch . Must watch cdrama.

WOW! WOW! WOW!

Je suis complètement ébahi. J'avais de hautes attentes et elles ont été dépassés largement! J'ai pu suivre l'histoire de Shaoshang dont je me suis attaché dès le premier instant. On peut dire que cette jeune fille maline et intelligente est si attachante. La première petite interaction entre elle et le général débordait de chemistry. Je me suis si profondément attachés aux personnages que j'ai ri et pleuré tant de fois que je ne peux les compter. J'ai re-joué des scènes, j'ai crié, je me suis énervé... Alalala ce drama m'a vraiment fait passer à travers toutes les émotions possibles. Mais le truc le plus unique à propos de cette série est que nous avons finalement une consort impériale qui n'est pas avide de pouvoir et de contrôle malgré que l'homme avec qui elle était marié en premier a nommé une autre femme comme impératrice... Ah l'impératrice! Quel douceur! Quel gentillesse! Ces deux femmes s'aimaient comme des soeurs. Je n'ai jamais vu un drama sans rivalité dans le harem. C'était si rafraichissant et agréable à voir. Deux femmes qui se soutiennent et se défendent mutuellement sans garder de haine inutile entre elles. Bon, maintenant, parlons de cet empereur! Un véritable "comedic relief" il était superbe dans ce rôle c'était hilarant! Même cette satané grand-mère qu'on a beau détesté nous a fait rire tant de fois! Et puis, WU LEI quel performance!!! Il a été incroyable. J'ai adoré ces deux compagnons qui m'ont bien fait rire et dont je me suis attaché. Les scènes de combat et de cheval de Wu Lei ne me déçoivent jamais et il est si beau!!! Moi, qui n'arrivait même à finir un drama sans skipper la moitié des scènes et mettre le tout en 3x, j'ai tout regardé sans arrêt et j'ai fini ce drama en 5 jours! Ca valait amplement le temps! Une masterclass une masterpiece tout ce que vous voulait, mais certainement un drama mémorable et formidable!

Don’t drop it!

If you watched the first episode and considered dropping like I did, don’t do it! During the first 5 episodes the show expects you to get used to the titles, names, relations, and family of main character. Nothing too big will occur as far as I remember. It gets REALLY REALLY good soon after. Interesting characters are introduced, several sub plots are established, and most importantly the romance begins to bloom.
The main character isn’t a flawless, know-it-all. She is a girl who self taught herself whatever she could, and is clearly lacking. Family conflicts and discussions make a big part of this show, like every historical drama ever, so if you hate that type of dramas this would be difficult to watch.
I usually avoid C-dramas due to the trashy acting but this one was easy on the eye in this matter.

Absolutely recommended!

My favorite drama… hands down

Oh my goodness, I cannot stop raving about this drama I just watched! I stumbled upon it by chance, and it was a game-changer for me. I'm now a die-hard fan of Rosy Zhao and can't get enough of her. This is unusual because I do not usually obsess over celebrities. But trust me, she deserves all the hype she's getting!

The drama was a perfect blend of love and plot, and despite watching countless shows, I was utterly hooked from the very first episode. I usually find that dramas start slow and it takes forever for anything exciting to happen, but not this one! It had me on the edge of my seat to the end. The love story was beautifully crafted and the relationships between the characters were fascinating to watch. I have too many favorite episodes to list, but let me just say that each one was a masterpiece in its own right.

The actors were all outstanding, but I must give a special shoutout to Li Yun, Rui played by Leo Wu. His character's struggle to resist falling in love with the female lead was so well portrayed, and the chemistry between the two was electric. And can we talk about the emperor Bao Jian Feng? What a great performance by Zheng Li! I was also impressed by the supporting cast, particularly the two brothers who were shadows of Leo Wu's character.

Now, I do have a few minor complaints. There were times when I wished there were more close-ups of Leo Wu's facial expressions, especially during some of the more emotional scenes. There were also some inconsistencies in the story, like when they said the female lead's parents left for 10 years instead of 15, or how she learned all about construction. The lack of synchronization in the flute parts played by Rosy Zhao was extremely distracting, despite my genuine appreciation for the music. But these are just nitpicks, really.

The last two episodes were a bit of a letdown for me. I was hoping for a grand finale, but it was just okay. However, this doesn't take away from the fact that this is hands down my favorite drama of all time! I can't even count how many times I've rewatched it. If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out on one of the best shows out there!

A great first part but ultimately incomplete

First I have to mention the cast. This cast makes me want to go back to my previous reviews and reduce the star rating I've given to other dramas' casting. The casting in the drama is SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!! I wish there were a once-in-a-decade "11 stars" option. Every single role was cast perfectly and the actors were perfection in their roles. Seriously, I have never watched a better cast drama than this. And a special shout out to the dude who played the emperor. He was an absolutely delight and perfect in his role.
I'm writing this review after watching part 1 and 2. If I'd written this before watching part 2, this would've been a 10/10 drama. As it is, and after watching the second part, I now see the flaws in the story of this show and it is no longer a 10/10. More details in my review of part 2.

öncelikle bu diziyi yeni cdrama izlemeye başlamış kişilere önermem biraz ağır gelebilir tarihi yönleride içine alan bir konusu var oyunculuklar benim için efsaneydi konunun yavaş yavaş ilerleyip her şeyin yerine oturması mükemmeldi izlerken hiç sıkılmadım dizinin uzun olması etkilemedi hatta daha uzun olsun bile isterdim bu dizinin ilk partı için yorumlarım ikinciye göre daha olumlu ama şahsen ikinci parttan daha çok keyif aldım ilk part için ilk başta erkek başrolün nasıl ortaya çıkacağını ve kendisini kadın başrole nasıl sevdireceğini anlamadım bir süre fakat dizi ilerledikçe karakterler gelişti her şey yerine oturdu izlerken hem çok güldüm hemde ağladım ağladığım kısım genelde ikinci parttaydı ilk partın başlangıç tarzıında olduğunu ikinci partın ise asıl olayların yaşandığı kısım olduğunu düşünüyorum bu dizi hakkında tek üzüntüm çiftin çok ağır bir ayrılık yaşamış aralarına 5 yıl girmiş olmasına rağmen adam akıllı konuşup kavga edip barıştıkları içlerini döktükleri ve kavuşmalarını bize daha iyi yansıtamamış olmasını sevemedim diziye 10 puan vermeme rağmen sonu benim için hayal kırıklığıdır başrollerin karakterlerine ters bir son olduğunu düşünüyorum erkek başrol kadın başrole yaşattığı bu durum için pişmanlığını belirtmeli ve af dilemeli kendini açıklamalıydı çünkü bu kadar uzun bir dizide karakterlerin gelişimi daha farklı yöndeydi bunun dışında diziyi hala açar baştan izlerim sonu dışında kesinlikle öneririm

Una de mis favoritas

La quimica entre los protagonistas es maravillosa, ambos transmiten tanto. Zhao Lusi es mi actriz favorita y Wu Lei es maravilloso también. La historia es única y a pesar de todo lo que pasan, amo que su amor triunfa. Ambos aprenden a amarse y a llevar una relación de pareja.

Me encanta que él sólo la ama a ella y se mantiene firme en su decisión sin darse por vencido, al igual que ella. He visto esta serie mas de siete veces y no me canso de verla y vivir ese amor tan hermoso a través de esta historia. Es una de mis favoritas y una de las mejores de todos los tiempos.
