actually a banger
I have been seeing ads for this so much that it's not even funny. So I watched it. I did watch a show in between, but I finally finished this one today. It was good. just a cute one that I could watch in the background of homework and whatnot. The actors did really well; I enjoyed their acting; it was really good. The body movements and the facial movements really added to it. No one made me want to shoot them, which is good. Likeable characters, and all the actors were extremely good-looking. so I would recommend this. My average for episodes was a solid 9, so I think this is a good, cute, short one to watch whenever. overhyped but not necessarily bad. I enjoyed it. I will probably watch it again. okay bye.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Highly recommend.
Although this drama is pretty short I must say that quality is very high. Actors are very skilled and crate great chemistry between each other. Music is awsome. All the graphic effects and production is also great. Even actors playing supporting characters are great. It's not a BL filled with spicy scenes but rather soft, funny and smart love story. Story is not very extensive and not that addicting that's why re-watch value is only 8 for me but it is something I highly recommend to watch at least once. In my opinion one of the best korean BL drama.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Adorable

So perfect!
I remember when there was an announcement for this show and nobody really cared.I read the Manhwa and was sosososooo excited for it! I had never read anything that was about to be turned into a show before I read it! So, because of my joy, I came to My Drama List to see how others thought of it also! At that time, there were no actors announced, no pictures, just the summary and the title. There were very few comments, and most of them very happy about it! then, when the actors playing the characters were announced, I came back here to see how people were responding, because I had never heard of the actors before. So much hate was towards them, i was starting to believe that it was a bad choice to make the manhwa into a show. People saying that they didnt look anything like the characters in the Manhwa, but, now that ive watched this show over and over again, I truly couldn't see any other actors for the roles of Sangwoo and Jaeyoung! Seoham and and Jaechan play them so amazingly I was blown away! This is the best BL series act I've ever watched. No character was lacking in personality, and its like everything was taken straight out of the Manhwa. I believe they even moved it along faster and better than the Manhwa. Ive never really been able to rewatched any BL's, (maybe other than any Japanese ones), as its boring, but with this, I can always go back and feel the joy I felt when I first watched it.

Best Korean Bl I've Ever Seen!!!
Ok this was surprisingly addicting! It kept me smiling throughout the whole thing! It didn't give us anything new: enemy to lovers, university campus setting, etc. But it was all executed so well! There are very few bls that have been able to master these tropes without being boring, and this is one of them. I usually watch Thai bls, so this was a refreshing change for me. The camera work was different to Thai bls, it had a more clean, refreshing vibe.Story:
The story was so addicting, even though it had all the tropes we see all the time in bls. One of the characters displayed some borderline autistic traits and I've never seen that in a bl before. It was interesting.
Acting:
The acting was so amazing! The lines flowed out so naturally and the actors really managed to capture their characters emotions so well! There was no awkwardness between the MCs, no awkward placements, or hugs standing 10 inches apart. The acting wasn't stiff and predictable like I commonly see.
Rewatch value:
I would definitely rewatch this! I'm not the type of person who can rewatch something immediately after finishing, but give it a month or two, and I'd definitely come back!
Overall:
I was originally going to give it 9.5 stars, because of the overused tropes, but now I give it a 10. Because I've found very VERY few bls that do not use at least ONE overused trope. For me, it comes down to how well the acting and plot is executed, and how entertained it kept me. 10 stars from me, definitely recommend!

Great show, bad start
I was really close to dropping this show. Watched the first episode a while ago and found everything annoying and weird, and the start of the second episode didn't help either. But then in episode 3, the show turned into a new, interesting direction. I could finally understand what they were going for.
Overall, I enjoyed this show but I wish they were doing everything less "stereotyped" and exaggerated. As someone studying art for games right now and taking coding classes, I found it really annoying. The artist was a "free spirit" while the "nerd" was a computer geek, which they also made very robotic-like. I understand the idea behind it, but I wish they would have tuned it down a bit.
The after-credit scene was to live for. Wish they had a second season to expand that.

this hurts to write bc i wish i liked it more
aspects i enjoyed:- i think jaeyoung is f*cking sexy like MY BAD i want him
- chemistry between characters is good
- acting
- intimacy (somebody throw me off a building)
- JAEYOUNG AND HIS BISEXUAL TRIFECTA FRIEND GROUP
- the maybe two songs that played throughout the entire show
- jaeyoung and sangwoo's back and forthness made me want to keep watching
- relability of the characters; sangwoo is insecure like me and i think he can be funny without meaning to be ("he looks like a total bum" *screenshots jaeyoung's instagram). i felt this way sometimes w jaeyoung too but i mostly enjoyed sangwoo's realness
- episode 7 *jumps into lava*
aspects i did not enjoy
- literally the entire premise of this show at least for the first five eps. are yal seeing this? shy sangwoo was like ur a freeloader nobody likes u im starting an organization against u so u dont graduate and sexy jaeyoung was just like aw ur cute im going to start following u around and buy every single bottle of ur fav drink <3 and then when sangwoo started to hate all of this jaeyoung was just like okay fine since u hate me so bad i'll just distance myself and see how YOU like it. I THINK I WOULD LIKE IT CONSIDERING YOURE SEXY BUT YOU'RE BORDERLINE HAZING ME? idk i'm usually an enemies to lovers enjoyer...
- jumps between episodes sometimes if they didn't pick up immediately where things were left off
- as i mentioned for the 8 show, i think there were definitely issues w adapting this from a webtoon which is inevitable
- jihye like i'm sorry girl but what was that confession scene why would you do that at all or idk that couldve been executed better
- it's just confusing bc sometimes sangwoo could be so cruel (if someone told me to "control my urges" after kissing me????) and jaeyoung can be just irrational so idk like i said in ep7-8 they had really great chemistry and i think it's very cute that they worked on things together but it overall made the watching experience not as great when their relationship wasn't as linear as i thought it'd be
- kind of typical kdrama narratives but i don't think i have enough knowledge of bl to rank this in that universe
i won't be recommending this to people but if you don't take it as seriously as i did maybe it'd be more fun to watch

fun watch!
I really enjoyed this drama. The story was well paced, and the episodes not too long, it felt like a long movie. There wasn't a moment when i thought 'ugh they're stretching this soo bad, this doesn't have any value to the story' , no.
There was (physical) tension at the right moments and just long enough too make you go 'ooooooh', but not cringe.
And obviously the chemistry between the two leads, it was so believable, from the bickering, to the gazes, all the way down to the kissezzz
Now all there's left to do is hope for a season two? ;-)

A favourite trope. Loved it
Enemies to lovers is nothing new and with the usual short number of episodes (at least they were longer than 10 minutes), I went in with low expectations....Well! What a turnabout.
A surprising amount of story, which flowed really well, was packed into those 8x25-min episodes.
Humour, candour, realism (to a point ~ I did wonder how a student was able to just make up their timetable as they went along... but hey, it is a drama ?), feels and a very likeable couple. Just what I wanted to watch.
I loved the whole cast, thought the acting was very natural and professional, loved the characters (especially Jae-young's peer, Yu-na) and could happily have watched more.
S.Korean gay romance dramas are certainly going in the right direction; one half of the leads in this is bi, too, which makes a change.
Very enjoyable.

Opposites attract
One of my favourite BLs! Non-toxic, non-cringe, no power struggle, with lovable, dynamic characters. Very accurate depiction of a nerd, who loves order and routine, and an artist, who introduces beautiful chaos into the nerd's world. Perfection! I'd watch it over and over again.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
LOVELY BL STORY!
Well, this took me long to watch because I had a hard time finding uploads of all the episodes but finally, I finished it. It's a really good series and I had rewatch it again and again in just one night. I love the storyline, especially the development of their relationship. I also love all the characters, I like how there is no annoying character, well, except for one of the male lead at the beginning... aahhh such a jerk, but he's a handsome jerk alright and he played that role very well. I love the ending, it's cute and really good. I enjoyed watching this and I'll surely rewatch this again. Oh, and this is also definitely added to my favorite BL list!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Feel-good Enemies to Lovers Romance
This series stepped up the game of Korean BLs. From plot to production quality, to acting, it charms, touches, and entertains, while managing to avoid clichéd tropes, misogynism, and toxic relationships. The whole cast delivered brilliant performances. I usually notice weak acting quickly, and I cannot overlook it. This is why I am impressed that in no scenes did I feel like any of the actors is lacking.
Park Seo Ham deserves special praise. Watching him was such a satisfying experience for me. It is rare that I see actors pour their whole hearts into their role, but it is obvious that Seo Ham has done so. Kudos to him.
The plot of this series shows that you do not always need a unique storyline to hold the viewers' interest. Jae Young and Sang Woo's story is a typical high-school enemies to lovers romance. However, the way in which it is told distinguishes it from similar stories.
The characters are likeable.
Jae Young breaks the stereotype of a popular student. Although he teases Sang Woo relentlessly in the beginning, he is not a playboy or a bully. He is a kind person and a talented designer, who quickly wins the viewer's heart.
High-achieving students might see themselves in Sang Woo. Focused on doing his best at school and pursuing his dream of becoming a game developer, he has not spared time for human relationships and has remained emotionally immature. His character development conveys an important message. As much as he has trained himself to think and act like a computer, Sang Woo learns that always prioritizing your ambitions over the good people who are there for you paves your way toward a lonely, miserable life.
The romance is sweet, realistic, and healthy. Despite the misunderstandings that they have to deal with, they both work to resolve their conflicts instead of acting illogically to create more drama. Kudos to the scriptwriters.
The highlight of this series for me were the OSTs, though. It is rare for a BL series to have such great, catchy songs. Romantic Devil became a favorite of mine. I still listen to it, although I watched this series months ago.
Overall, Semantic Error should definitely be on your list if you are into well-written BL romantic comedies.
