Korean BL game is stepping up STRONG.
Ever since watching Where Your Eyes Linger and To My Star, I've been excited about new Korean BL content. The production quality, the chemistry- it's all fire and just gets better with each one I've seen (I'm not looking at Kissable Lips).I've not seen/read the web series for Semantic Error, so I'm stepping in with fresh eyes and making my own observations. I think the chemistry between both leads is l i t e r a l l y palpable. Like, laser-sharp. Gives me body tingles when they touch each other or get near each other. They do not suffer the curse of the wooden Korean BL actor, in fact, it's very obvious how comfortable the actors are in their roles, especially in watching the BTS of the series and of them together during their press tour. They're so cute together.
Park Seo Ham has one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard. That slight rasp is intoxicating as is his height above literally everyone else on the show (he looked actually GIANT in the bar scene against the Quickyst jerk the way he leered down at him - it also made it so much funnier). I love the storyline and the conflict that arises between them. The argument scenes are believable and even there, the chemistry is overwhelming. Once Jae Young realizes what he wants, he doesn't back down and doesn't wilt. I love that. There's no questioning his feelings and he's blunt about it without fear of homophobic backlash (I also spotted that gay pride flag in his studio!). There is no running away for him and he isn't afraid to hit the root of the issue to force Sangwoo to be honest with himself. It's so refreshing and electrifying to watch. I loved this series! They've set a high bar for anything else coming out this year.

Rafraichissant
A découvrir !

Semantic Error was...an error
As a long time fan of Park Seoham and KNK, and is also familiar with DKZ, I’m sad to say that this was lukewarm at best. The acting was cringey at times; perhaps not being able to take Seoham seriously is a personal issue knowing he’s such a goofball, but at times it looked like he was holding back laughter or trying too hard to be cool. Much of the acting, like some kdramas, feel unnatural or very 2D. I couldn’t feel the romance, let alone bromance. The bantering was adorable at times but ‘gotcha’ moments weren’t hitting as they should be.The story, overall, isn’t too messy but it felt slow and draggy for an 8-episodes-25 minutes-each series. The timeline wasn’t the clearest. Did they fall in love within two weeks? But Sangwoo’s birthday is in October? Jaeyoung leaving for France in the middle of the semester? So he won’t be graduating again? I’m confused.
I’m a big fan of Yuna, Jaeyoung’s female friend. Her character is so fun, calm, and badass. If she gets together with Jihye, I think they’ll make a cuter couple than Jaeyoung and Sangwoo. Originally, Jihye seemed like an innocent girl with little confidence, but she turned out stronger than I thought. Her straightforwardness would go well with Yuna’s relaxed attitude. And whatever happened to Hyeongtaek’s confession lol?
I don’t have a lot to say as nothing really happens but I do like the cast, the music, and the storyline of game designing. I did wish they used and had a wider range of music but that’s creative differences so--

One of the best kbl so far
This series has everything. Great story, amazing acting and chemistry between the leads, good production even the osts are so good. Its visually so appealing the lightings and colors are perfect..Its the perfect enemies to lovers. Even though the length of the episodes are short it does 't feel rushed at all..
The chemistry between the actors is so natural. Not only Jaechan and Seoham but also the supporting cast. The chemistry between Jaeyong and his friend is so natural i freaking love it..

Loved it, one of my top10's
I started watching this purely out of boredom and I even thought that I will not like it at all, but I ended up rating it a 10/10.I really love all of the characters and I like how the main lead actors have some kind of history going on between them (?). The setting of the drama is in college which most would think is overused in bl's at this point, but I personally like this setting the best. It is still very relatable but features adults which is what I like. And, enemies to lovers also happens to be one of my favorite tropes. This drama is almost perfect in my opinion. I loved the teasing that Jaeyoung was doing and how Sangwoo responded to it.
Even the behind the scenes were very funny and entertaining to watch. After finishing the drama, I read the manhwa and I loved it just as much as the drama. Then I found out that there is also a web novel of this same story which inspired the manhwa so I'm going to be reading that soon. And there is an animation as well (?!). I'm not sure. But either way, I'll watch/read anything that is connected to this series >-<.

Amazing!!!
Honestly, I deeply liked it and the fact that it's so short really makes it perfect for re-watching it over and over.I would be lying if I said that I wouldn't want this to be longer, and also if I said that the ending wasn't a little rushed (that's why I won't give it a 10); but considering that it is a korean bl, and we all know who rushed they can be, it really isn't bad.
Maybe what I liked the most was the cast, I really think every actor suited perfectly their role, I almost thought they weren't acting at all and they were telling us their real story... Amazing!!!

10/10
I was very disappointed with a lot of "BL" Series before, for what felt like lack of it. SO many titles felt like they could've had done so much better, but this series honestly blew me away and not many do. It's a very cliché and classic University Trope story so I found it hard to start watching it at first, but I absolutely do not regret it. The acting and the actors ate and the story was portrayed so nicely. I actually felt a full circle of emotions unlike other shows that felt too fast. For a series with only 8 episodes and 28 or so minutes each, I really felt that this was paced spot on. I 100% recommend this to anyone and also 100% will rewatch, which is surprising because I don't usually rewatch series, but this one was just too good.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Even Errors are Beautiful
Omggg.. I don't know What to do.. i'm missing this drama a lott.. No Over Acting Nothing Extra Just the Plot and Characters Playing their Role.. but I feel like and i wished pleaseee for the love of the god.. Made them couple in Real life too.. cause their Acting was Top.. and The best Part is.. That Intresting Story + Cute Scenes Makes it a Wonderful Drama to Watch. The Plot Actually is Very Simple like How Feel good and Light drama Patterns Should be.. It's just like that.. But you'll feel like u r living in Sweet World where watching them together will give u butterflies in stomach.. and you at the End of the day When u will finish the drama.. You are going to miss them a lott.. I have started to watch this drama since the day it was released so i have waited for 4 weeks to complete this drama.. but now u can watch it in just one go.. not because it is available because u can't stop yourself from watching this series once u started.. Really Miss them.. and After Watching this And Light on me.. My Trust For Korean BL have Increased More than 10 Times..

An Error That Can't Be Solved!!
Semantic Error would be a new mark in Korean BL drama history and one of the best ever BL i have ever watched after WYEL and To My Star. It literally screams how opposite personalities attract each other.About the few things i liked about this series is -
the period of time was really different this time. usually BL dramas (such as To my star, The Tasty Florida, Kissable Lips and so on) have a storytime of 10/12 min per ep but this time it has 25 mins and i was astonished to see how good the character and the atmosphere was portrayed. nothing felt too long or too short. I really wanted this kind of production and i hope in future there will be more dramas like this
second of all, I am surprised how good the acting quality is. Dongkiz's Jaechan did a decent acting which really suited the character, Chu Sangwoo who is cold and analytical. KNK Seoham also portrayed the playful character of Jung Jaeyoung. Moreover both Seoham and Jaechan are new in BL kdrama industry so it was really good to see the chemistry they had between them onset and off set. i love them both equally and their interactions were pleasing to watch.
about the ost, i have no objection like it doesn't suit the drama because it does! i listened to the osts in YouTube and tbh it felt better in the drama. so like in one word the ost and the drama blended so well.
I would say that definitely watch it. you can read the webtoon of same name. The drama adaption is slightly changed since we know how conservative korean society can be. But this is a big milestone in BL. I am glad many idols are coming forward about LGBT and supporting these dramas. Definitely 10000/10 drama.

I love the chemistry! Superb!
Its the chemistry that carry the story well.My first time to review a BL series. I really like how Jae Chan and Seom Ham potraiyed the character well. I never did this review with To My Star (which this series started the “bar” level of a Korean BL series).
The good thing about this series is every eps is around 20+ minutes. One thing to comment is they may have extend further ep 8. Overall a very good show.
My top 3 BL:-
Semantic Error
To my star
Where your eyes linger

best kbl
This is the best kbl, the acting and cinematography are superb, they’re in different level!I love the storyline bc it’s neat, somehow this drama makes the original story fluffier
The casts are sooo good. Can’t even imagine a better sangwoo and jaeyoung, even their friends’ casts are so good too
The osts are sooo good, it fits the drama so well! a whole bop, I’ve been listening to it for a week straight
I hope there will be season 2, it’s okay to wait for 2 years as long as the casts are still the same, it will be more fun to watch how their relationship to develop in season 2.

A beautiful cast with a beautiful relationship ❤️
Another great hit out of park. Just the right amout of everything. This was definitely a beautiful story of 2 college guys that dont know each other, but are looking for each other. Sang Woo is a junior and very smart, but not gullible and is part of a group project that everyone hoping he'll do it. Wrong* instead he calls them out and they get a F and some cant graduate college like Jae Young. Jae young goes on a man hunt to find Sang woo and in the intrum sang woo is looking for a game designer. Once they meet S. W. explains he hates liers and people are responsible for their own work. This causes J.Y. to annoy S.W. for a few days when he realizes that its not bothering him at all so now he wants to understand JW better and how his mind works. Then when a girl Ryu Ji Hye who likes S. W. comes into the picture he finds himself interrupting them on many occasions. The physical connection and personality makes them the perfect pair once they figure out how they each need and fit into each other lives. I enjoyed the other cast members as they also did a wonderful job. I enjoyed Song Ji Oh who played Choi Yu na and how she looked to be tuff, but was funny and playful a needed part (hope to see more of her acting) same with Hyeong Taek and his crazy hair. The kiss seens between Sang woi and Jae Young were spot on that you could feel the attraction and emotions and it wasnt fake, it was hot 🔥. I like the personality that Sang woo gives off that everything has it place, but then he becomes the aggressive one in the relationship and surprises J. Y. facial expressions are just to cute. Just love it sorry it ended would love to see more if them.❤️🔥❤️🔥🙂
