THIS KOREAN BL DRAMA IS FIRE! The chemistry between the actors is so dang good. You will not regret watching this drama. FROM THE ACTORS, TO ACTING AND FROM THE SETTING, IT'S FIRE. I BADLY WANT A SEASON 2 OF THIS KBL DRAMA. HUHUHUHUHUHUH. The scene that I liked the most is when Seo-Ham smiled and when Seo-Ham patted Jeong-Chan's head. ACKKKKKKK KILIG MUCHHHH. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE LAST 2 EPISODESSSS. Sadly, Seo-Ham will enlist to the military on March 10th (the date when the last episode of semantic error s1 will air) so Semantic error s2 will be possible in 2024 (if there is a s2). THIS BL DRAMA IS WORTH THE WATCH, I'M TELLING YOU. WATCH IT RIGHT NOWWW! Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Carino e strutturato

An addictive series that makes you crave for more
This is by far 1 of the best BL series Korea has ever made. It's up there along with Where Your Eyes Linger, To My Star and Light On Me. Adapted from an already popular novel, the story certainly came to live with everyone involved. I really want to thank the director, Kim Soo Jung, for her impeccable good eye of all the beautiful angles and cinematography. So many picturesque shots, they were all so exquisitely filmed! Plus the impressive use of light & shadow. She has my respect! With only 19 days, it's by far an amazing feat in my books. You can definitely feel the heart & soul put into producing this series. I want to give a big thank you to Park Seo Ham & Park Jae Chan too, for accepting this role & making me believe in your character. Of course there's no denying the chemistry between our 2 leads. Definitely thanking the casting director for not giving up on Park Seo Ham who initially thought he couldn't make it to film this beautiful series. Indubitably, I wish & pray for a 2nd season too but with Park Seo Ham in the military & being that anything can happen in the entertainment industry especially in 2 years time...my hopes are not high to get a 2nd season what more with the same leads.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
ITS SO SO SO GOOD. Very sweet and romantic
The intro in ep1 was so captivating and satisfying. The editing in the intro and in the actual series is really good, it's really fun. It's one of those that will make scream because you couldn't take it lol (in a good way). The setting and plot is quite typical but even though it was like that, it makes you excited to watch the next episode or atleast anticipate. It has quite a lot of really sweet and romantic scenes, like scenes where they hug eachother instead of kissing, it just shows how much the characters actually love each other that being with each other is enough.
The music is really really good too, something I'd actually listen to on repeat. I've seen a few Korean bl dramas and so far this one is the best in terms of quality production, acting and etc, i think it'll be one of my favorites AND my favorite bl kdrama.
As for a rewatch? Definitely! I just know that it will give me the same excitement watching it again. The editing makes it way more fun. Definitely a must watch <3

I Love this series!!!
It is great, very sweet and great acting. The couple have an interesting dynamic and experience struggles but there is no heartbreak only tension and a bit of annoyance towards the end so it is an easy watch. The drama takes itself seriously and unlike some older shows, you can believe the relationship. The title song is so good! It's really lovely and fits the he theme of the show perfectly. It has a happy ending with a sweet last episode and kiss scenes. The last scene is great!
It's not a lengthy series so you can get through it in a few days.

Good but not great
Let me say this.. Did I like the drama? -yesBut did they ruin the story? - again yes.
Like bro I read the manhua and it was so good so I didn’t necessarily get the reason for changes they made in the drama. Idk was it to make it a bit different or for having way less time per episode to show the detailed story. But whatever the reason might have been I didn’t quite enjoy the changes.
They changed the story in some places and that annoyed the shit outta me. Like they never mentioned Sang-woo's part time job. Like there's basically where the rivalry began. And the story of meeting that girl was changed too. And so many other details were changed. And the time was too short. Like bro give us a full length bl series lol
Now lets come to the good part. The cast and their acting. Chef's kiss. Their chemistry was mind blowing. And both the main leads being idols made it even better like yess Korea is improving so much. These two as main leads was the best decision of whoever chose them lol.
Even though the series had a lot of changes from it's webtoon and the time was too short, it was very bearable and addictive. Like Their chemistry carried the whole show. Give us season 2 already.

YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT
I must say that I am a fan of Kdramas, but when it comes to BL Series, I always go with Thai BL Series. This is my fourth Korean BL actually: When My Eyes Linger, To My Star and Light on Me, but definitely Semantic Error is the best Korean BL I have watched so far. Although the story plot was too common, I must admit I watch it for 5times already. The development of their love story was precise and fast. No unneeded scenes. From being enemy to being lover I love every scene of it. Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan was perfect as Sang Woo and Jae Young . The whole 8 episodes were overwhelming. I was really surprised with the kissing scene specially when I read an article that the original script doesn't contain any kissing scene at all. I counted it ha ha ha 6 or 7times. Semantic Error sets the new standard of Korean BL Series, its not only with leveled up kissing scenes but the chemistry between the actors, the acting was not exaggerated plus a topnotch visuals, oh my Perfect... I am hoping for Season2 but I wish both of them could make a full length Kdrama in the future specially Park Seo Ham...

Semantic Error Best BL in Korea
OMG, I don't really give shows a high of a rating; however, this show deserves the high ratings. The cinematography, production, chemistry, acting , and was plot was on point; it was so good. It killed my insides in a good way.I HAVE TO SAY THIS ONE OF KOREA'S BEST BL IN HISTORY.
Overall I really enjoyed reading the manhwa to be able to understand what's going on. I still have to read the novel as yet. I think between the novel, manhwa, and the series they did a really wonderful adaptation. I watched this on VIKI.
Jang Jae Young (Park Seo Ham) is my favorite character in the show; I admire his dedication to Sangwoo ( Park Jae Chan) and his refusal to leave his side. Jang Jae Young understood Sangwoo's demand for space and granted it to him a couple of times rather than becoming confrontational with him. He did not stalked and harassed, Sangwoo.
What I liked about the series:
- Jang Jae Young being respectful to Sangwoo when he needed his space.
- No evil character
- The music really fit into the series
- Good side characters
- the aesthetics/styling of all the characters.
- light hearted
- Sangwoo being funny, sassy, sarcastic
- good production
- it linking in with the manhwa
To be honest, this series took me on a roller coaster journey! I appreciate that they released two episodes per week, but I'm sad that it came to an end so quickly. Another thing is that, despite the fact that it ended so quickly, the plot did not feel rushed. The series was so well-made that, while it did leave me wanting more, the way it wrapped left me feeling complete and fulfilled. I cried throughout the final episode; viewing this was an emotional roller coaster for me.
One of the most compelling aspects of Semantic Error is the chemistry between the two actors representing the roles. Both Park Jae Chan and Park Seo Ham seemed to be enjoying themselves in their roles. Another thing I admire is that there was no awkwardness or tension; instead, they were simply being themselves, and they seamlessly integrated into the characters. They had a wonderful chemistry.
I was thoroughly entertained from the beginning to the last episode, therefore I have no complaints. The plot revolved around them being enemies to lovers at university. The school rebel, on the other hand, falls in love with the techie right away and refuses to give up. Despite this, the school rebel (Jang Jaeyoung) is courteous and respectful of the Sangwoo wishes. He doesn't try to persuade him to do anything. He gives Sangwoo time despite his desire for answers. With Jaeyougn, he's never aggressive.
Semantic Error was able to create characters that were not only immensely lovable, but also showed their growing affection for one another. We can see how they're falling for each other, and we can also see why they're falling for each other. This series is really well-paced. This is honestly my ideal comfort. It will make you smile and warm your heart.
In his post, Park Jae Chan (Sangwoo) stated that the majority of his cast mates became his true friends. He also stated that Park Seo Ham had become his best friend, which I found to be really sweet. You can tell that the two grew to like each other and built a strong bond over their time working together. Despite the fact that his firm did not want him to assume this role, Park Jae Chan stood up for himself and said, "I can do it." He was able to deliver something positive to the fans, the directors, and everyone else with his achievements. At the same time, he made a best friend.

Just lovely
I will make it short: The plot is not existent. I tried to read the manhwa at least five times because of it's popularity, and couldn't get into it. Creative out-going guy meets nerd that thinks and behaves like a computer. That's the whole story. They hate each other, then they fall in love. Never seen that before, right? So yeah ... not impressed. But why the high rating? The production was great, the soundtrack too, the non-existent plot worked surprisingly well, and THE LEADS WERE FANTASTIC! That's all you need to know about this series. Both did a good acting job, had incredible charisma, a very lovely chemistry, and were extremely good looking - not only individually, but also as a couple. Those two fit each other so well. Not to mention that they were capable of delivering a proper kiss. No akwardness, no shyness. Just cute. This is the type of series everyone can enjoy. Despite having two guys fall in love, it felt like a rather causal love story, and not your typical BL. It was not perfect and not really that out-standing, but it was sooooo lovely. I will give it 10 stars. I'm generous today.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Perfect adaptation and one of the best Korean BLs in terms of quality
First of all I have read the manhwa and I can say that they stuck to the manhwa as much as possible and tweaked some parts for the better! In the beginning, the story looked like it wouldn't get to the part where they would even confess at all or get together but by ep 7 and 8, it turned out that I was wrong. I wish we could have had more eps to explore their relationship though. The story isn't all that new but for me as a person who studied film in college, I tend to watch critically while enjoying it and I think the editing, lights, music and even subtle symbolisms was perfect! There was never an awkward cut or continuity that I've observed, the ost perfectly fits the story which is "Romantic Devil" by Coldin ( best bl ost for me ever), everything was well lit and they made the scenes in the night still somehow bright like for example by adding those bisexual neon lighting in ep 7 which I'm sure was intentional since Jaeyoung is bisexual (there are more subtle symbolisms but I will leave that to you to find) . You can definitely see that this had a high budget. For acting I think Seoham and Jaechan really did great for newbie actors especially in the kissing scenes. They totally looked immersed into it and like they want to kiss eachother bc in almost all the Korean BLs I've seen, the actors kinda look awkward or restrained. They just give us pecks which is cute but I've seen enough of that in straight K-dramas like cmon give us more! Kiss like you're actually in love? In the case of Seoham and Jaechan, you can really see they adore each other off screen so it translates well on screen with Jaeyoung and Sangwoo. For idols like them, they really are trailblazers on that regard. I can talk more and more about this but this would be too long. The ending was really good and I would like to see a season 2 when Seoham gets discharged from the military and there are more chapters from the manhwa that they can give us longer eps or more eps. Anyways, overall this really climbed up the spot to my 2nd most fave BL just next to Light on Me which had longer eps and more character development. This one is definitely worth the watch.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
i couldn't recommend it enough
literally the cutest bl i've ever watched, super heart wrenching and a great story overall! the cast is perfect too, i loved all the characters. if you're thinking of watching this then i definitely would go ahead and watch it right now. it's a short korean drama but it's a very sweet one. i really wish they made the episodes longer because it has so so much potential!! the chemistry between the main leads is so loveable and they're an amazing duo. it's a shame seoham is enlisting, he did an amazing job as well as jaechan who pulled off such a cute character. i hope to see them in more projects soon!! :DEsta resenha foi útil para você?
