Amigo Íntimo — Temporada 1 Episode 2
Just Friend
"I met him on a rainy day. I was lying in a cardboard box, lonely, cold, and hungry. Then, a standing man with an umbrella took me out of the box. Since that day, I have a new name called “Moo Joom”. My slave, his name is “P’Sin”. We are close friends except for the shower time. I always wake him up at 8.00 a.m. then, he will feed me, turn music on, sit down and work. I follow him everywhere, everywhere in the square room, just two of us in the room. I have been living with him for 3 years until I’m a young cat, but he doesn’t look older. One day, P’Sin brings one female to the room and I feel like don't want her to mess with him. I don't like it but don't know how to say to P’Sin that I love him even though I'm a cat but I love him. Sighhhhh! I’m anxious. I’d better go to sleep and curl up with P’Sin. I’m just a cat ... that's enough. "

(2) cats aint Dog's, they aint attentive - they don't follow their owner around - yeah they can show affection, but what we see is here, bit far-fetched ****************************************************************************************************************** (3) the fact that i don't like Xin (or rather as this couple from TharnType 2: 7 Years Of Love) where i immensely disliked Leo (it's kinda carrying through) as for whatever reason, here he again "taking" care of (Fiat) Moo Joom. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Vee doesn't know if she allergic?!? but she still tries to pet Moo Joom, and then not only suddenly guesses that she might be allergic, she already got the medication? oh whatever short and that's the plus in this one- other then the bits where it felt like human and cat were attracted to each other. it was ok.

The bad side:
1. Humans making animal noises.
2. Cats having the same intelligence as humans in communication.
3. Cats having the same strength as a human which can be seen when FIRST(cat-human) literally pushes JA to the ground and also grabbed his food bowl.
4. Sexual tension between humans and animals.
5. Borderline bestiality *eww*.
6. Humans caring about a pet's feeling more rather than another human's feelings (which seemed nice but is impractical in real life or IN A FICTIONAL BL). And lastly...
7. In general, WTF DID I JUST WATCH AND WHY.....

Synopsis: Sin one day looks outside his house to see a lonely cat inside a box. The cat, now named “Moojoom,” found himself a new owner to give his affection to; but how strong is the little feline’s affection towards his human owner?
- We’ve now reached episode 2 of Close Friend. This one introduces the couple JaFirst. Right away, I can say that this story feels more complete than its previous episode. The storyline was very simple with no major complications, so by the time the ending came, it felt more complete.
- That being said, one question…Since when did we start romanticizing bestiality?
- Yes, you heard me right. This episode was nothing but a soft bestiality romance between a cat and his human owner. What makes it a “romance” is that we, the audience, see the interactions between P’Sin and Moojoom as if Moojoom was a human. First, who acts as the human version of Moojoom overly adorable, but at the end of the day, it was still an ordinary cat who’s in love with his owner. There was no magic that turned the cat into a human, or a cat shifter. It’s just an ordinary house cat. That just made things very uncomfortable.
- The pacing was still pretty fast, but I didn’t mind it nearly as much.
- There were a couple of unanswered questions like who left the cat at P’Sin’s house in the first place, or even what is his sexuality? He brought a girl home, but then just as quickly asked her to go home when he felt bad for how he treated the cat. Which, by the way, I highly doubt any single eligible bachelor would give up a hot date just to cuddle with a cat, which made it even more awkward in terms of the bestiality trope.
Overall Thoughts:I’ve pretty much made my overall thoughts known. This episode was pretty cute, the storyline felt more complete than OhmFluke’s episode, and the actors had great chemistry. But what I can’t get with is the fact that this was basically a bestiality romance. No…just no.
Rank: 6.5/10
