Its light and fun to watch!
Im watching the series without any high expectation, as I want to watch an easy going series. It has humor, which i like. For me, it doesnt require too much emotion, the series itself tis light and easy. So for those who like this kind of genre, its a good series to watch.Although, im a bit annoyed regarding the shipper culture contain in this series. In fact, there are few series i watched has this shipper culture. Is it really happen in thailand? Or it does not as extreme as potrayed by the series? For me, i think its quite scary, as they are student, and to be stalked and followed to their home just to get picture and update, its violating one's privacy.

A cute heratfelt comedy series that did have flaws
I started this series six days ago and waited patiently for the finale. I will say this- when I started it, I didn't expect to fall for the characters as I was a bit weary in watching it. Yes, for me personally, the series had some flaws. But I still found it enjoyable and loved it!Story-8/10
I am giving this series an eight. Due to these reasons. Firstly, I felt from episodes eight to ten, something with the editing was a bit off and it didn't make the series flow properly. Secondly, what they did with Bam's character- that was not necessary and needed. And finally (and this is not thier fault), when I watch a series that I truly adore, I always get some kind of feelings. Unfortunately, that did not happen with this series- like at all. But all in all, I liked the story.
Acting/Cast-8.5/10
I liked how everyone acted, actually. My all time fav is Duean and Meen. I loved every minute that they were on the screen and I hope those actors are given more roles. I will most definitely support them.
Music-10/10
The music was most definitely the best part of this series. And then when I went and checked and saw who sang the opening and closing OST- I was floored. I feel in love with the music from the first episode. They really did a great job there.
Rewatch Valu-8/10
I liked this series. However, I am not that eager to rewatch it anytime soon. And if I do rewatch it, it may just be the bits of Duean and Meen (not lying here!)
Overall-8.5/10
Overall I give this series an 8.5/10. While it did have some flaws, I did enjoy it and yeah- I would recommended it to people who want to watch a heartfelt comedy BL series.

Typical Toxic Thai BL w/good visuals
LIKES:Cinematography, locations/settings, colour palette all great.
Wardrobe was well chosen for the most part.
Cast was well chosen and the actors did the best they could with what they were given.
Decent chemistry between Pi and Mork.
Music was okay, but nothing memorable.
DISLIKES:
Writing:
Plot holes and content that was not concluded. [For example the Pi and his mom breaching of his privacy.]
Mork constantly saying he wants to love Pi, but doesn't give him space or support. Instead of telling the bullies & shippers to back off and leave them alone, he tells Pi to not care about those people. Yes people shouldn't care what others think, but if you love someone truly, you don't force them to be they way you want them to be. That's not love. Also Mork's was stalking and obsessive, both very negative behaviours.
I hated BAM, the character was idiotic & I had to mute her. She wasn't needed, but at least her character storyline had some conclusion, unlike most of the other supporting characters.
Toxic, Obsessive Shippers having no consequences for their actions.
Comedy moments didn't flow and were stupid. Could've been left out because the Main Characters used their cell phones/ social media so much.
Blatant cultural appropriation in one of the episodes.
No one except for Pi, had any character growth.
Directing:
The reactions/responses often took way too long and became ridiculous with the gaps in time.
The interactions between the "couples" didn't seem natural, were too frequent and felt forced.
Pacing:
The beginning episodes took too long, then the ending was overly rushed.
They dragged out Pi and Mork's relationship issues and then suddenly everything was fixed/resolved.
OVERALL:
Not the worst Thai BL series, but far from good, due to making toxic behaviours seem acceptable. Great visuals from the characters, but bad writing as usual wrecked the show. I'd recommend this to beginner viewers of the BL genre, as long as they don't think it's good to force people to be or do what you want. I highly doubt I will watch this show again.

GMMTV, It's time to stop
Alright, here we go. FUTS is my lowest rated show on MDL. Even lower than some of the shows that I dropped. The reason why I didn’t drop this show and watched the whole thing is probably because I didn’t realize how much this show bothers me until after it was over. The first glaring issue that I remember having with the show was the extreme appropriation of Sikh culture that bordered on mocking and racist. It was clearly supposed to be played for laughs, but it was REALLY not funny. And on the topic of humor in this show, where was it? This show was very obviously intending to be funny, but I swear I didn’t laugh once while watching this show. A lot of the humor was slapstick or gross, and that is just way too juvenile for me.
Honestly, I feel bad for the actors in this show, because I am confident that they could do so much better. The only actors in this show I had seen in other things were the actors who played Duean and Bam. They were both in Tonhon Chonlatee, and they were both so much better in that show! I actually also didn’t like Tonhon Chonlatee, but that is not because of these two actors.
Next on my list is the pacing. This is honestly one of the worst paced shows I have ever seen. There are 12 episodes, and episodes 1-11 are VERY slowly progressing Pi and Mork’s relationship, and then at the very end they get together, fight, and get back together. I swear I got whiplash from the pacing. This pacing managed to make a show that dragged 95% of the time feel rushed right at the very end.
My penultimate point is about the ‘shipper’ characters. I get what the show was trying to do; poke a bit of fun at the people online who ship real people together and are crazy and delusional. I really do get that, Lovely Writer did something similar and it worked; but these characters are the ACTUAL worst people, and the show plays them for laughs! They do not respect Pi’s privacy at all, and find out information about his family, and take pictures of him at his house! They should be arrested for stalking, but FUTS makes them out to be comedic characters. It’s not funny, it is terrifying. As a segue to my final point, at one point, in order to get Pi’s attention, Mork joins a livestream hosted by these stalkers and adds fuel to the rumor of their relationship, going directly against Pi’s wishes.
My final point is that Mork and Pi are not good for each other, and Mork does not respect Pi at all. At their core, these BL shows are about a main couple, and the process of those two people becoming a couple. In FUTS, I TRULY did not want Mork and Pi to end up together, and that is a huge problem for a show like this. The basis for their relationship is that Mork likes Pi a lot and spends the whole show trying to get Pi to like him back. In theory, that is fine, it works in shows like We Best Love and Gameboys; but we are never given a good reason why Mork likes Pi so much. The fact that Mork works so hard to try and get with Pi would make you think that he has some reason that he likes him that much, but we are never given a good explanation for it. In addition to this, Mork is WAY too pushy, and does not take no for an answer. Comparing again to We Best Love, when Shuyi tells Shide that he doesn’t want to fall for a man, Shide immediately respects what Shuyi says and leaves to respect his boundaries. Whereas in FUTS, Pi is CONSTANTLY telling Mork to leave him alone, and Mork doesn’t listen, and even encourages the shippers to keep shipping them even though he knows it makes Pi uncomfortable. And then when Pi finally gives in and agrees to date Mork, he has conditions for the relationship that Mork agrees to. But then after like one day, Mork doesn’t want to keep the relationship secret anymore so he uses jealousy to manipulate Pi into publicly announcing their relationship. I could write more about this show, but I’ve already written an essay. Please don’t watch this show, it is not good.

Cute but disappointing character development
At first it was a nice cutesy comedic story, but the story progressed very badly:It has nice elements and Mork (Pond) had everything to be a healthy cute romantic interest even with the love triangle BUT he spent almost 10 episodes borderline harassing and stalking Pi (Phuwin) to "prove his love" and didn't accept any of his boundaries, which was a major turn off, almost dropped this series bc of that
Secondly, even them having chemistry, they had absolutely NO communication and it bothered me SO MUCH. Pi just accepted the harassment at certain point bc he was "accepting his own feelings" and Mork never redeemed himself for the creepy stuff, I mean... I would have had a restraining order up for him by ep 7 already.
Because of that, the "official" confession they had around ep 9-10 was kinda meh
I feel like they wasted such a good storyline, and such potential with Pond's character, it made me very sad. At certain point I was basically rooting for Mix's character to end up with Pi cuz he was the only one down to earth there.
Neo and Louis did a decent job but Neo's character was so annoying to me that I skipped 80% of their scenes, their storyline wasn't catchy, I couldn't even tell if they liked each other or not at certain point, but Louis is cute LOL, they had barely any communication and STILL HAD MORE THAN THE MAIN COUPLE LIKE
Besides that, the placement, visual effects, chemistry, and main n support actors really did a great job. The script just wasn't really it and went south really quickly

Go and watch because of DueanMeen
*happy ending for both couples**supportive parent on one side*
After watching, I realized I love DueanMeen more than MorkPi. I watched this series after SCOY so Mork's red flags are sooo apparent. I didnt like episode 11, especially episode 12. Mork does not stand up for Pi and he keeps pushing his feelings to Pi even though Pi is still not ready.
The shippers are also intrusive, and arrogant. I felt really bad for Pi in this whole series.
With regards to what I love:
Pi's actor is really really handsome. His voiceovers are so animated and expressive as well as his expressions. Duean is a very cute tsundere top and Meen is sooo cute. He also sang the beautiful ost of this series. Sooo talented!

Loved it
I don't usually write reviews but for this i will.Fisrt of all, i dont know why people come searching for life lessons in a light hearted comedy show, then end up wroting negative reviews about it not being there.
The story was cliche. But it doesnt mean that it was bad. This was fun to watch and had great moment.
One review was suggesting that they didnt had great reason to fall in love or how it started. I mean do people really need a prominent reason to fall in love. Sometime you just end up loving someone for no reason.
MorkPi had a good chemistry. There was awkwardness because that is how it is suppose to be. Why are people complaining about it?
The music was catchy. The tone is still playing in my head.
The secondary couple was kind of cute.
They had good and funny side characters.
What i didn't like was the little bit rushness i ep 10 and 11.
I am gonna watch it again after a while.

Such a blast!
I honestly had so much fun watching this show! It was just what the doctor prescribed. It definitely isn't a serious show, though the tone does change slightly halfway through from fluffy and over the top to a more regular romcom setting that's a little more toned down.
I've watched at least 44 bl's this year, both very lacking ones and some of the best ones I've ever seen. This one is just a good middle ground for me. (unpopular opinion but I liked it SO much more than Secret crush on you, which follows a few similar threads. )
I knew going in that it wasn't highly rated and people kept warning to keep your expectations low.
In my opinion, I don't really think I loved this show because of 'low expectations' and I don't think you should have them set low in order to enjoy this show. I think you just need to understand exactly what it is your getting yourself into or just not look into what kind of show it is all together to flow with the experience and not judge until the end like I did. I binged this within 24 hours btw.
Were there a lot of cliché's ? Yes, but if you watch it completely through, you actually notice that the show itself is super self aware of that. The fandom starts to get called out for being a form of serious harassment with actual consequences and fear as it proceeds to get worse. As well as that Pi's irrational dislike of Mork hanging out with his friend gets addressed briefly, because friends hang out, I know that was news to me too but it sounded valid.. >O w O<
I'm just kidding here, but as someone with little social interaction and large phases of having no friendships, I do get it.
Especially when you like someone and they have actual friends to hang out with outside of you it can be tough, so it's on you to stay rational and realize the difference between love and friendship.
Then there is that moment when Meen didn't let himself fall under peer pressure and stood up for himself which is something I really liked.
The only thing I really disliked was how pushy everyone was about Pi needing to realize his feelings for Mork. Not only does Mork push himself onto Pi a little too much, even by being his mystery chat friend, but Nan even rejects Pi because he doesn't believe Pi has feelings for him. The fandom also keeps pestering him to just admit it. We as the audience can see how Pi does indeed like Mork, but as a passerby in real life I would genuinely not be convinced he liked Mork romantically at all. Mostly because he keeps shouting he likes Nan. It annoyed me that no one took his experience seriously. Even when you can tell someone is being unaware or avoidant of their feelings, it's up to them to realize it for themselves. The pushiness was just a little too much.
To start out there is a very specific stylistic choice in the way this is filmed. There is a mini series mixed in with the actual series rather than a main couple vs second lead couple. The mini series being made obvious with the changing display size and a voice over. In the beginning I didn't care too much about the mini series, but it did grow on me half way through and became more enjoyable to watch, though at no point did I have any particular feeling about the couple. It was one of those things where I was just able to turn off my brain and allow what happens to happen.
(I still need to see the rehearsal of that strip tease tho! Like how this group of guy friends have a whole choreo ready is beyond me xD It was honestly one of the funniest scenes when you think about them trying to get this thing perfected in their moms living room. )
The conflict in the last episode felt a little out of nowhere at first, but thinking back it made perfect sense. I even recalled myself noting that usually the one who's most jealous tries to top the other person in everything they can and that Pi didn't seem to do so with the spicy food at the food stands or the cakes at the café. I remembered thinking how funny it was to me that instead of the main couple, the one who got the short end of the stick by being over the top was Bam, trying to get the spiciest food to show off and choosing 20 different cakes so Pi couldn't get them, making her spend a ton of money. So hearing she liked Mork actually made sense even though I still didn't care for that conflict tbh.
From the perspective of a writer there truly wasn't anything wrong with this show. It almost felt like satire but done in a way where you still want to make an enjoyable show rather than a parody. Nan was non existent, but I didn't mind that.
There were some moments I did feel annoyed with some characters, but humans are sometimes simply annoying so I can't even be mad at that!
Maybe this was just the right show for me at the right time, but I loved it.
It comforted me, turned my brain off, made me smile, giggle, gasp and even tear up (I never cry so it could be hormones, but damn that line at the party in the last episode where the fangirl talks about how their job is done and the captain is now sailing his own ship broke me somehow)
I really recommend this show, but I have also noticed it isn't the most popular opinion here so, decide for yourself! :)

love love loved
PHUWIN AND POND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! They are one of the best couplings on gmm at the moment... They are doing such a good job with everything, and for this to be their first show paired together is insane. This show was so so fun to watch and I have already rewatched it 2 times since my first watch in the summer (its february now). Pond and Phuwin are such incredibly diverse actors, and seeing the switch between fish upon the sky and never let me go is so impressive. They killed it in both obviously, but this show was just so heartwarming and I enjoyed every episode. The side couple was also really cute which surprised me bc usually gmms side couples are ass (looking at u The Eclipse... sorry). Yeah so basically I loved this show so much and I would 100% recommend watching.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
So cliché it's good
I wasn't expecting much going into it, watched it after Never Let Me Go so the transition was a bit roughI gotta say it's so cliché, sweet and overdramatic it's good, they knew what they were doing even risking to go with such an overused plot but the delivery is there, it's funny, it's enjoyable and overall very nice to watch
If you haven't watched never let me go yet I'd say to watch fish upon the sky first, so you can appreciate the evolution of Pond and Phuwin between these even if obviously there's no comparison, it's very different shows and both deserve a watch!

Super fun but kinda boring
As a rather new PondPhuwin stan, where else would I start but their debut drama, FUTS? I'll admit, it was a bit of a chore to get through this series, and I had almost no incentive to watch it because of the boring plot. Additionally, a lot of Mork and Duean's actions were kind of unacceptable (Mork was kinda manipulative and Duean lied a lot) BUT I didn't really mind them because this drama is supposed to be unserious anyways. There was a lot of secondhand embarrassment and cringe lines, but overall, the humor throughout the series was very unique (in a good way), especially Duean and Mork's scenes. I love Duean's dumbass snarky attitude xD and Meen is hilariously adorable.Overall, I loved watching young PondPhuwin and NeoLouis! They were seriously so cute and they've obviously grown so much from this series. This series was nothing extraordinary, but I will prob revisit it for a good laugh.

cute but not memorable
Full disclosure, there were two reasons for me to finally watch this, the first being I love Neo Trai and I wanted to see him opposite Louis Thanawin again (I watched The Eclipse first). The second reason is I'm trying to watch Never Let Me Go and I wanted to see Phuwin Tangsaky opposite Pond Naravit in different roles. This show is cute, but not attention grabbing. The whole changing-yourself-for-others is a trope that could be considered over done in heterosexual media so I was hoping that this would feel a little different, but it really didn't. Pi was extremely unlikeable as both 'a geek' and a 'hot guy'; I know it can be argued he was only that way because of bullies, but he was just a rather unkind character and I have no idea why Mork liked him in the first place.
I know Duean and Meen were comedy side characters, but I really did feel like I only kept watching for their story; it felt a lot more realistic (for a bl drama) than the main storyline and characters. (I know these shows aren't very realistic in general, but you know what I mean.)
It's a good time filler if you're not too fussed about becoming attached to the characters, and I personally didn't find any re-watch value in it.
