I need you to understand what level the acting is on here

This is the purest Enemies to Friends to Lovers arc I've seen in a drama. The fact that both leads have ride-or-die friends at uni indicates early that neither is fundamentally toxic. They're just young and newly moved away from home and figuring themselves out. But then, as they stop looking at each other through the lens of their families, they absolutely bloom under the other's regard. By the time they are head over heels... I can't think of another first kiss on this level. They kiss like it's a confession. No words, just a tidal wave of emotion and complete openness between them. Every acting choice tells a story on multiple levels, down to the final episode. A must see.

Easily the best thai BL out there

Bad Buddy was my first Thai BL after years of break amd boy, was it amazing.
It makes you genuinely laugh. It's funny and witty and sometimes downright silly.
At the same time, it manages to have more serioues notes and balances it quite well.
The script is wonderful (though I personally think the reason why their parents hate each other fell a bit flat). Love how they really don't care about really old and classy BL tropes and just destroy them basically. We love that!

OhmNanon als leads are a delight. It's fun to watch them in every scene, may it be a funny or a more serious one. They have amazing chemistry, they make you scream "I want what they have!" at 4 AM because you bingewatched into the night.

Some of the side characters acting felt a bit awkward here and there, but nothing too bad. Loved the girls! Yey for GL!

This is THE drama I would recommend to all of my friends, even those that have never watched any thai BL. It's that bitch. 'Nuff said.

EL MEJOR BL TAILANDÉS RAHHNQLAKXNMA

Esta entre mis series favoritas. Es un rivals to lovers muy bien ejecutado, muy buen desarrollo. Los actores son muy buenos y tienen una química de la puta madre. Tiene una pareja secundaria de lesbianas que amo con todo el corazón. La serie es un cago de risa y la pasé muy bien viendo cada uno de los episodios. La mayoria de este tipo de series suelen terminar cuando los personajes principales ya están saliendo, cosa que no pasa acá. Pat y Pran empiezan a salir como desde el capítulo 6. La serie se sostiene por si sola gracias a los personajes. Podría ver tres temporadas más de esto sin ningún problema te juro.

Las dos únicas quejas que quejas que tengo, es que algunas veces los amigos de Pat y Pran (específicamente de Pat) llegan a ser insufribles y a veces los personajes se comportan como si estuvieran en primer grado de secundaria. Pero dentro de todo puedo entender su motivo de ser en la historia y realmente no son cosas que te impidan disfrutar de la serie, solo detalles que no me gustan

Es una idea simple pero muy bien ejecutada, altamente recomendada.

Best Thai BL

The best Thai BL series. Not the usual BL. Though it is clearly a take on the enemy to lover trope, other tropes are used sparingly, and not the cringey ones. The acting (directing) is excellent. I felt like they were an actual, real-life couple. The series shows the couple not only dealing with recognizing their own feelings, and the recognition of the fact that they ARE a couple, but then moves on to them balancing the fantasy world they aspire to, with the reality of the world they live in. I was surprised how good this was. 90% LGBTQ, 10% BL. 100% pure joy.

I don't really want to mention negatives, since this series is so much better than 90% of the rest of Thai BL, but here goes.
Product placement is better than average, though still heavy-handed. I'd be amazed if viewers didn't roll their eyes at some of the advertising. Some placements are so extended as to break the third wall. Music is generally better than average, especially music that suits a particular scene without being heavy handed. However, there are a few moments where you notice it because of unexpected jumps in volume, or a bit too much repetition of one particular song. Violence/fighting is used to elevate tension and ramp up emotions. and feels gratuitous.

But all of the negatives aside, the acting and the story telling is so good, that I still think this is the best Thai BL series so far.

Adorable Storyline & Spot-on Chemistry

I've been away from BL for some time. This was one of the first couple I watched to dip my toes back in after years away. It fit everything I expect from a good BL. It had cliche storylines, was super cheesy at times, but all around was also heart warming and a story where you rooted for the main characters to find their way. I really enjoyed the chemistry and the rivals to lovers storyline is easily one of my favorites. The dynamics of their friends was realistic despite being layered with extra drama (I mean, it is a drama, so checks that box).

Overall a super gooey adorable story that I would highly recommend.

Le meilleur BL de GMMTV

C'est sans conteste le meilleur BL de GMMTV.
L'histoire est bien rythmée et intéressante. Le scénario est bien écrit. Les acteurs font très bien leur travail. La musique est plutôt sympa. C'est aussi drôle que tendre. Un peu de bagarres pour épicer le tout et de jolis jeux de regards pour nous faire fondre, le tout saupoudré de baisers amoureux. L'écologie est effleurée à un moment, c'est la première fois que je vois ça dans un BL. Les personnages féminins jeunes ne sont pas caricaturaux ni toxiques ni pleurnichards ou hurlants mais agréables et sympathiques. J'ai un petit coup de cœur personnel car l'on y voit des jeunes gens jouaient au rugby, mon sport d'équipe préféré.
Franchement 10 sur 10 pour le revisionnage car c'est une bulle d'air frais. Il ne faut pas hésiter, il faut avoir vu "Bad Buddy" au moins une fois que l'on aime ou pas les BL.

Jouissif

Un BL des plus jouissifs. Par le scénario, qui même s'il se déroule dans le cadre ultra habituel de l'université, s'éloigne des poncifs habituels du genre en redéfinissant le classique "enemies to lovers". Et par les acteurs, fine fleur, confirmés ou nouveaux venus, de l'écurie GMMTV.
Que dire d'OhmNanon ? Les voilà enfin associés dans un BL, pour notre plus grand bonheur, tant leur complicité et leur alchimie illuminent l'écran. Il est très difficile, voire impossible, d'imaginer des acteurs différents pour Pat et Pran. Les seconds rôles sont également tous de grande qualité.
L'histoire est une sorte de réécriture du classique Roméo et Juliette, mais version comédie, avec deux acteurs principaux qui s'amusent comme des petits fous et nous avec ! Je n'ai pas été surprise d'apprendre que certaines scènes cultes ont été improvisées. Et leurs baisers... ils pourraient sincèrement réchauffer le Groenland.
La musique est formidable, bande-son chantée par Nanon, et a par ailleurs reçu l'accueil enthousiaste qu'elle méritait.
Dernière chose : les rôles sont généralement établis dans le BL, top/bottom, impossible de se tromper, ce qui n'est pas le cas ici, et c'est une surprise, plutôt agréable me concernant, de voir un flou artistique régner. OhmNanon ou NanonOhm ?

The best BL!

I can only recommend this series. I've seen a few more BL's and I'm just thrilled. It's going to be impossible to knock Bad Buddy out of my #1 spot.

The reason for this is that Backaof implemented it in a unique way. And Ohm & Nanon play it convincingly. I believed every scene, every feeling, every fear, every doubt. Their chemistry together is so unbeatable. I hope to see them together more often in series, also in other genres.

About the series: It's just 2 people who fall in love and overcome difficulties together. There are no typical clichés, no overdramatized declarations of love. I eagerly awaited the new episode every Friday. She definitely has rewatsch potential that I've seen her countless times. Look forward to a stunning series with potential for addiction.

Tema-nya kuat!

Series GMM-TV yang satu ini sudah sangat populer bahkan sebelum seriesnya benar-benar dirilis, trailer pertamanya bahkan berbeda dari yang kedua, mungkin konsepnya juga berbeda ; namun dengan tema yang sama. Menceritakan Pran seorang anak perfeksionis yang diberi didikan agak "ekstrim perfect" oleh orang tuanya dan dibiasakan untuk bersaing dengan temannya Pat yang merupakan tetangganya. Orang tua mereka berdua bahkan juga bersaing entah dalam hal apapun, sampai akhirnya mereka kesulitan untuk menjalin hubungan pertemanan. Setelah mereka dewasa, Pan dan Pat dipertemukan kembali ; dan menjadi tetangga kembali bahkan kuliah di universitas yang sama ; kondisi persaingan antar mereka masih ada, namun karena berbagai konflik membuat mereka harus bekerja sama dan bersama dalam beberapa hal, hal ini membuat mereka harus menjalin hubungan diam-diam agar tidak diketahui oleh orang tua mereka masing-masing. Dapatkan mereka menyelesaikan masalah yang muncul, mungkinkah kedekatan mereka menimbulkan romansa cinta? saksikan seriesnya. Dari segi konsep cerita memang agak biasa saja ya ( dua orang berbeda kepribadian dipertemukan ), namun dari segi penokohan series ini kontroversial karena dibintangi oleh aktor Nanon yang memerankan serial The Gifted dan Ohm Pawat yang memerankan banyak sad bL series, hal ini memunculkan antusias penonton bahkan sebelum series ini resmi tayang. Dari segi scene cukup bagus dan detail ya, alur cerita mudah difahami, ceritanya cenderung ringan dan menghibur terutama dibagian scene mereka berbeda pendapat ; selain itu romansanya sangat kuat, hal ini terjadi karena bentuk "hidden relation effect" sehingga memunculkan banyak sekali scene romansa diam-diam. Dari segi warna biasa saja ya, tidak seperti series bL cinematik, dari segi musik lumayan asik. Agak kecewa dengan filler series ini yang menurutku terlalu banyak terutama dibagian ending. Rekomended? YES VERY!

Drama vraiment conseillé

Bad Buddy est un drama qui a majoritairement beaucoup plu et je comprends pourquoi.
Personnellement, je n'aime généralement pas trop quand une histoire est concentrée uniquement sur de la romance, mais j'ai adoré Bad Buddy.
Les deux personnages principaux partagent une veritable alchimie qui est très agréable à regarder et plonge le spectateur dans le drama. Le scénario et vraiment bien construit et tient la route. [A l'exeption d'une action à la fin de l'épisode 9 qui s'est deroulée de façon trop irréaliste, le problème s'est réglé trop facilement. Mais c'est vraiment un détail de ma part.] Les acteurs jouent vraiment bien et nous offrent une très belle prestation.
Quand bien même vous n'êtes pas convaincu par le résumé du drama, je vous conseille de regarder quelques épisodes pour tout de même vous faire une idée parce que ce serait vraiment dommage de passer à côté de ce drama alors que vous pourriez l'adorer.
Je vous conseille vraiment beaucoup ce drama. J'estime que c'est l'un des meilleurs boyslove que j'ai regardé jusqu'ici, et j'en ai regardé pas mal.
Ps: leur premier baiser est juste incroyable!
