That night, Sakama is called by Supreme Court judge and her senior instructor, Hidaka, to attend a party. While there, she is introduced to the Secretary General of the Supreme Court, Kada Kenichiro. Kada is aware that Sakama has been put in charge of rebuilding Ichikei and tells her that Michio's presence is becoming a problem. Hidaka instructs Sakama that, is she deems it necessary to take action against Michio, to raise it up with the Personnel Bureau. Meanwhile, Ichikei's director, Komazawa, tells Michio and the rest that there is a new case to handle. An infant abuse case where the culprit is the popular culinart researcher Fukasa Yoko who was convicted once before. Yoko initially received two years and six months for injury to her eldest daughter who was one and a half years old at the time and was injured by being violently shaken.
