Drama and Romance
I love Lee Min-Ho; so I was down with watching this. What I liked the most is that even though there was a lot of the back and forth BS that I don't like, Cha Eun-sang didn't try to act like she wasn't in love with him. I'd watch again for certain scenes and skip all the USA scenes LOL!!! I also loved the fact that Cha Eun-sang and Yoon Chan Young continued to be best friends even though Yoon Chan's girlfriend was sometimes jealous. Also glad that they didn't hook up. Had this been an American show that most certainly would have happened!!!
I also liked the character of Choi Young-do. You really get to see his breakthrough from villain to good guy. he initially got on my nerves but I started to root for him! Not for him to be with Cha Eun-Sang but for him to continue to be a good person.
My favorite character hands down though was Park Hui Nam; Cha Eun-sang's mother. She was so awesome.

You should watch this one.
You would recommend this to others.
You could watch this again........but in parts.
I have never watched a drama where the negative character has impressed me more than the lead actor. Kim Woo Bin is a good actor. PERIOD. What a performance! I almost wished for the lead actress to end up with Woo Bin at the end (crazy huh?) While the drama is full of clichés, I didn’t mind it at all. Sometimes when you watch a drama without any expectations, it supersedes that feeling and you end up actually liking it. And that’s what happened to me with The Heirs. I had read the reviews earlier, and most of them seemed disappointing but I went ahead and watched it still and don’t regret it.
Go ahead and watch it, you won't be disappointed.

A CLASSIC HS POOR GIRL CHAEBOL BOY KOREAN DRAMA THAT HITS ALL THE MARKS
It's a DRAMA with so much DRAMA and clichés but it does everything right. I was entertained and I was heartbroken and I swooned and I laughed and I sang and I remembered everyone at the end of it all. In a setting that could only happen in a Korean drama, there was so much heart and emotion in the storytelling and acting despite the predictable plot. Of course, people are put off the overused dynamics of the typical rich and mean kids bullying the poor girl shtick or the 1st world problems that only heirs and heiresses can understand, but I advise you to not take the circumstances seriously (laugh at them!) to enjoy this series. Instead look at the characters' hearts, their stories of love and their personal relationships, then you'll be thoroughly entertained. All the characters have a story that is revealed at a perfect discretion, keeping the viewer hooked.I also want to spotlight the first episodes that take place in magical California, a fantasy-like place and a breath of fresh air for the poor FL to visit. The theme of living a dream carries through to the last episode giving it a perfect end in my humble opinion.
Lastly, the OST is unmatched and the lyrics captivate the essence of the characters and drama so very well.

This is too predictable
The story is pretty predictable and non realistic. This evolves with a family melodrama having two mother, of course, the one and only son from mistress along with school bullying later falling both of the guy falling with love with female lead. Pretty absurd! Then two guys trying their best to get the female lead, kind of competing against each other with unnecessary dragging.I really hate why in every K-Drama a girl has be a poor girl living from hands to mouth and a boy has to be super rich with lots of family problems.

The story sucks if you take it too seriously. It really dragged in the middle, but the last two episodes were great. If we could've gotten more of that, less of California, and less of the unnecessary back-and-forth, this could've been a tight 16 episode show.
Our leads had no chemistry and had concerning power dynamics. The saving grace here was the huge cast of supporting characters. The highlights of course were Bo Na and Chan Young, but I also came to love the rest of them — Young Do, Myung Soo, even Rachel and Hyo Shin.
If I hear "Love is the Moment" 10 years from now, it'll still be too soon.

One of the Best K- Drama's
I thoroughly enjoyed this drama - I think its one of the best K drama's I have watched.. The main cast (Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin) all did a brilliant job...although its a Cinderalla type (rich boy-poor girl story) I loved the story except for the ending which was kinda rushed, and some characters was not developed. Don't get me wrong it had a happy ending for the Male & Female Lead...but wouldnt have been bad if the wedding was shown.. there were some very fun, romantic scenes & comedic scenes.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Cute and Simple
I'm very late to watch The Heirs as it did not seem to be a K-drama I would be interested in but it pleasantly surprised me.Not the best K-Drama I have seen by far, but definitely not the worst. I found it enjoyable to watch as the supporting roles were amazing and funny, the plot (although not great) was consistent throughout the whole 20 episodes and there were not too many plot twists to confuse me.
Maybe due to watching this very late I found it terribly cliche and predictable as I have watched similar ones before, but sometimes a typical rich lead/ poor lead is good to watch as you see social class differences in this drama.
Overall The Heirs is a good watch if you have a ton of free time on your hands and don't want to get too invested in a drama.

This storyline in the present day shows me that anyone who is hierarchy will try to crush each other for the throne similar to their Dynasty days.

Don't regret it but won't watch again
This was the second k-drama I ever watched back in 2018, coming directly from Boys Over Flowers. You know the deal. My first review would have been more glowing, written behind Lee Min Ho-colored glasses. But as it was with BOF, after a few years of watching other dramas, this one is just...meh. And that's allowing some grace for its age. I honestly liked it a little less than BOF. The female lead (Park Shin Hye) was a little too "damsel in distress" and lacked emotion from the very start which was extremely annoying to me. By mid-series, I was already done with Lee Min Ho as a chaebol lead and found the second lead and his story a lot more palatable. As my title says, I don't regret finishing the series as it served its purpose to me as a gateway drama but I don't think I could ever make myself rewatch it now.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
