First of all the lead girl, dresses to be a guy.... she is not believable at all.
Secondly, poor 2nd love interest.. jeez. I cant spoil it but its totally not what I expected.
The only redeeming thing about this series is that its 10 episodes, such a quick watch, and actually the second redeeming thing is Jun Ji Hoo.. gosh he is so attractive. I would pay millions to have him do my nails.
O and that weird drama in a drama was just atrocious...
Dat ending though.... dat ending....
wth... I cant even put it into words

Although i do love the love triangle situation. As the drama continues i hope it focuses more on Bunny, Alex and Kay and not the side stories of the clients and Bunny's novel.
Hopefully it gets better because i love Kay and Alex. Especially Kay!

Not overly bad, but boring
Nail Shop Paris isn't overly bad, but it can be quite boring. It has a lingering slow pace that appears in nearly all episodes, and even more considering this is more episodic based, can be quite a chore to watch through until the end. But there were definitely some positives that made me want to watch through until the final episode (which unfortunately, was the biggest bore fest of them all). The main positive was the performance of Song Jae Rim, an outstanding actor that, despite given a cold and somewhat 'shaky' character to portray, managed to hit another home run with his excellent portfolio that hasn't missed so far. He was easily the biggest highlight.
Another positive was that whilst I did not enjoy the pacing at all, there were some more serious themes that were handled well, which I was surprised about. I also enjoyed the brief moments of when the FL was visualising her novel into an over-dramatic movie, it reminded me to not take the drama too seriously and try to have fun with it - which is what I suggest you do too!
Negatives include the aforementioned pacing, but also the acting of the majority of cast members (not trying to offend you if one of your favourites is included here - just my opinion), and I didn't feel any chemistry between many of the actors. It just felt like an awkward pay-to-appear gig that sometimes happened at a nail shop, sometimes happened at a restaurant type thing.
Would I recommend Nail Shop Paris? I mean, I would, just as long as you don't mind something that is definitely slow paced most of the time.

However, the plot got really confusing. The whole Gumiho concept became virtually irrelevant and the novel storyline was overacted to the point of not being funny. If not for the cute boys and cute couples, I would not have liked this drama.

.
It's pretty clear and obvious from the very beginning that they were riding on the tomboy train at the time and desperately trying to create a copy of other cross-dressers/tomboy-looking of other popular works. All in all, it's a failed attempt with zero redeeming qualities.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Quick, Fun Time Filler
Another repeat rewatch of mine despite its intense shortcomings. The writing is not great and the acting is worse, but the raw plot points are fun and you get to see cute nail art. 80% of why I watch this is for the end when she has to choose between the two guys, because I find it so funny (her reasoning, i mean; because one will be alive long enough to be with her after the first one dies of old age, wtf). The characters seem to only fit in three categories, being mean, dumb, or lacking any personality at all. The FL is just a self-insert novelist, strong y/n wattpad vibes. It's an easy watch despite some heavy subject matter. It isn't delved into, much.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Campy, good for a break
After reading reviews saying how bad things were, I would say its not "bad" but more on the campy side of things. Yes, the storyline jumps around, but is expected because it goes from one customer to the next and the fantasy author is writing her story It is also a good watch if you need a break from watching serious thrillers, romcoms with mean women, sad endings and such. Every once in awhile a no brainer like this is needed. You will experience the second ML syndrome in this one too.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The acting was decent, and the lead girl pulled off looking and acting like a boy pretty well. Much better than some other actresses have done in the same type of role. There were many funny moments as well as couple of rather serious moments, too but I found everything fit really well.
All in all, I would recommend this drama to anyone looking for a light hearted, fun drama.

Story is just WHY WHY WHY WHY WHYYYYYY would she do that?!
And not only her! Why would Alex-!!!! Why would they all-!!! MAN this dramas story is making my face hurt from all those facepalms and pinches!
And the freaking ending!!!! I mean like, the story was alright... but WHY?!
Just watch it to know what I'm talking about, alright?
Music is already forgotten, sry
The Acting... Pretty damn good exept for her. She is definetly NOT a good "nailartist flower boy"
Sorry Bunny but NOPE. Her voice is too female, her behaviour is too female, how can she even act as an flower boy?! In real life everybody on the streets would call her a tomboy for sure.
But the acting of the other main charakters was amazingly great!
Are the actors like real nail artists? If so I shall go see it myself.
I definetly fell for Key or Kai or whatever you'll name him. Harsh, an artist and... a true man amongst flower boys *o*
In Summary the Drama was funny to watch even if I'm still so confused about so many details! And my head hurts.
Aish...
