This is a cute drama that uses a sport-centric (air pistol shooting) setting with emphasis on psychological elements having the main leads working together and supporting each other through the healing process. As for the leading couple’s romance, the drama just offers a cute, fluffy, and steadfast relationship and how, years later, they try to navigate through PTSD from an unfortunate event that happened when they were in high school. There are two other couples that also had to handle psychological issues in other to resolve whether they stay together or separate. Although the leading couple has a nice playful chemistry, the healing process took the entire drama’s duration and the viewer doesn’t get to see how the couple gets to be more comfortable with each other and becomes intimate in a healthy and amorous way. There are also too many instances of backstabbing and even a sexual predator that were not really necessary extending the drama to 40 enervating episodes.

Should have been a perfect 24 -episode series!
Mental health has honestly been a taboo topic, so I'm glad it's getting more recognition now & even being incorporated in movies & dramas. The chemistry of both leads is amazing! Hu yi tian has definitely gotten better in his acting & our Tang xin - what a blessed girl to have been paired with 2 tall, great looking lads! (Re: PYHOMS). There were some draggy parts unfortunately. Although it was good to show what really happened in the past, I don't think it's necessary to take a whole 38 episodes for our ML to figure it out & remember what really happened. I think this would have been perfect if it was 24 episodes, with no unnecessary story fillers.. I was honestly bored & fast forwarded some parts. Great job to the cast though, & the ost was good too!Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Unique Storyline, Typical CDrama Faults
The headline kinda sums it up. Parts of the series were also predictable too (Xiaoci getting attacked by Xu Dian). I also think the Xiao Ai trope was revealed too early, though her character was played well.Even when I was getting sick of the typical "Does she like him?/Does he like her?" thing (and almost dropped the series), I really liked Xiaoci's character. Her cunning, hard-to-get nature with Du Lingfeng was spot on, and I like that the series gave her a backstory as to why she is the way that she is.
I'm glad I didn't drop the series, but I'll admit to fast-forwarding through some parts. I think I would recommend this series, but would definitely not put it at the top of my list.

Give it a shot!
Only with a basic knowledge on the subject of shooting and shooters,I wanted to watch this drama and glad I had watched this.Hu Yitian plays the role of a nationally popular sharpshooter who is preparing for the Olympics to represent China, while Xing Fei plays the role of an interviewer who always interviews and updates information time to time regarding the shooting team.
Through this drama,I had come to know the life of shooters, how they train, how they need to focus on shooting, the rifles and guns they use,how they prepare themselves for the competitions and their internal struggles.
Now coming to the main part of this drama,it revolves around the love between the main leads and how it develops into an everlasting bond from a cold relationship from the side of the male lead.
It also focuses on certain psychological issues.
The premise, costumes, acting, production all were good.
A nice drama.Give it a shot!!

Sweet, Heartfelt, and.... LONG!!!!
Okay, it helped and showed a lot of themes involving PTSD and mental health, first love, and my favorite thing in the world which is youth dramas and first loves coming together and growing into their own person. Some of it was really messed up, and this made me cry because I've deal with PTSD, for some, the thought never leaves them. It can be their long term. And some seek treatment every day for the rest of their lives. Now, some of it was a little inaccurate. Though I've had selected amnesia, and I've faced my issues head on by complete accident, some of those evasive therapy techniques aren't always the best and always going to the physical source that triggers the problem, it can't actually do more emotional damage, but the story was great. I love the actors in this drama, which honestly kept me to continue the story. Hu Yitian and Xing Fei are my favorite Chinese drama actors, and the spark was amazing. I was actually wondering when they would've worked together. Now I saw. But, I did shed a tear, but the only flaw despite the fact yes, it represented mental health and the #metoo movement. I also really found a strength in Xiaoci that I didn't think I was going to like in the beginning. But, even though she went through her own depression and body dysmorphia, she realized that it's okay to love yourself for who you are. That's okay to love and trust the love that is given, even if it's from an unexpected guy. She's a strong will girl, and actually became one of my favorite characters in the end, just like Chen Hai. They all were despite the bad guys, of course.I think the only thing that I didn't like was that there was too many triggering scenes in there and if you've ever been into any of these situations as a young girl/guy and you get triggered, then the topic isn't really for you. But this was a really good show. Another thing I wanted to add, is that it's too long. The screenwriter went on in too much detail. Like it's their first time writing a script, leaving a great rough draft, but leaving extra details in there that we didn't need to have to be in there. I mean thirty episode max on the story. Other these things. Great show. I don't think I'll watch it again solely for the personal effect on me, but was a great show and if you like Xing Fei and Hu Yitian. Then this is for you.

Stranger things indeed;)
The storyline, character and relationship development- I find them all to be quite strange and weird. Many things don’t add up. A lot of push and pull, which makes the story drag on for quite a bit. It also seems to be disjointed and disconnected.FL Xing Fei- her acting is pretty much the same in all her other dramas. We all loved her in PYHOMS.. but there doesn’t seem to be any progress or variety in her style or character she plays. Here she’s still acting clumsy and cute- seems to have some psychological disorder with close contact.
ML Hu Yitian- lol aka mr poker face? Or mr one expression face? Hahah... sorry. It’s the same here... He has selected amnesia, and wants to stay away from FL. but.... one episode he will say “ Let’s draw the line in our relationship”... next episode suddenly he’ll be all interested and trying to get closer to her. HUH.. like what’s going on?
The general feel I get is... childish. The whole storyline, characters etc... just childish. The two boys who seem to have so much time on their hands, always gossiping and goofing off.. how are they on the school team??! Lol...
Oh! The house that FL and ML stay in.. looks like the same house in PYHOMS :):) just different deco and colour! Hahah
Looks like I’m dropping this. Rather slow and draggy, and there are 40 episodes!

From all the e-sports drama that I've watched, this drama's second couple makes me stressed because they keep quarreling and fighting. Although I understand that they both have horrendous pasts and it's hard to face them but they keep running away whenever they encounter a scene or remember something about it. Aside from the second couple, the first couple also barely kisses, I don't know if it's really how the script is written or the actors request about it but sometimes while watching their scenes, it makes me think if they're communicating as strangers or they're communicating as a couple. However, I am still unsure if I will drop this or not but in the meantime I won't. Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Did an AI write the script?
This drama was so strange. So many things were said and happened that made absolutely no sense. It made me wonder honestly if an AI wrote the script because it felt like something a computer would come up with. Like, they fed rom-com scripts into an AI and then the AI came up with this odd amalgamation of tropes and unconnected scenes / scenarios. They legit kidnap a hedgehog. Also, she randomly raps on a livestream while wearing a bear costume for some reason I couldn't quite figure out. And then she gets drunk after three sips, sees a sign with a four-leaf clover, and wants to jump off a bridge.Like ????? what am I watching?
I swear, I couldn't come up with this stuff if I tried. It's so, so weird.
I do like the ML and FL actors and so I'll check out more of their dramas. But I will never watch another drama by this script writer ever again.

wholesome romance - but disappointing in the mental health aspect
The storyline of having PTSD as an athlete (that is not related to the sport) and receiving long-term therapy could have meant that we’d see an emotional, heartfelt and inspiring story. - but ultimately it was just another generic childhood-friends, sports rom-com that completely failed to tell a meaningful story due to it’s lack of research done, generic script and casting the wrong people. The leading actors are well established in the romcom field but neither are able to pull off the mental illness side convincingly enough. It just seemed like they were acting according to certain tropes (aloof ML, sweet FL) and selling it as something deeper. Having seen both of them in other dramas before, I was disappointed to see that their performance was exactly the same and there no additional depth added, which was needed to make it believable that they’re actually having PTSD that affects their daily life.
The romance was sweet and very innocent. I‘d say they were a very wholesome couple.
As a youth sports romance it’s not bad at all ~ especially the second lead couple was entertaining however I came for the promised mental health aspect and in that regard it was a complete lackluster.
Also for some reason the FL pissed me off the more I watched. She seemed too good/gullible to be real. She was clearly written as a saint, that is sweet, cute and supportive but doesn’t have much of her own personality or flaws.
However the biggest pet peeve was the depiction of the therapist. Extremely unprofessional, doesn’t have any boundaries with her clients and breaks many ethical rules - like telling the FL all about MLs struggles and things he told her within treatment. She seemed more like a friend to the FL, as she called her all the time discussing ML and it was clear they wanted to sell a more light hearted, friendly version of what’s it like to go to therapy.
Can’t even be fully mad tho since it’s obvious the production & screen writers just have no idea what a therapist really is and does.
I also found the last 10 episodes very boring, as it’s just couples being couples. Not a single unique scene we haven’t seen in at least twenty other Chinese youth romance dramas.
… this may seem like a rant but it’s just what I didn’t like about the drama.
It wasn’t horrible - I actually enjoyed it at times and it didn’t have any major flaws or issues but aside from the second lead couple it was underwhelming to me.
