Brilliant Direction; Playful scriptwriting; Ingenious Acting of the Male Lead
For many, the scene in episode 21, where he knelt down in front of her, was the best scene in the series. Because this scene showed a different persona of the ML. In the past, he was one that never bowed down to girls. One that is sought after. In this scene, he was brought down to sincere humility after a series of rejections from the FL. In his face there was a multitude of varied emotions that brought many to tears. I felt his sincerity, too. But it was the moment just before he opened the doorknob going inside the karaoke room that I realized that Yang Yang was really such a great actor. I understood his unspeakable feelings - for in this scene, I understood that he has made a decision to do anything to win her over. That slight sigh (that you can easily miss) was an understatement to the surging emotions and a decision in his lifetime. He is truly a brilliant actor. Also, he has a habit of 'doing something' with his hands when deep in thinking and for me, it marks one of his first rate skills as an actor or perhaps that was coming from the director? Whether it was from the director or originated from another inspiration, it was done in good taste, it didn't come out 'random'. I loved his ingenuity and playful character in this series. His capacity as an actor was maximized - the director was really brilliant. I also loved the scriptwriting - the playful words were awesome. This series is one that is not easy to forget. By the way, I would like to commend Yang Yang's image consultant - he is well-handled.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Surprisingly good!
This one was popular before it even came out, mostly due to the cast. I’d only seen Yang Yang in Love O2O(which i didn’t enjoy) and Dilraba in The Long Ballad, which I really liked. The premise sounded typical, but I wanted to watch something with Yang Yang that I enjoyed so I was hopeful. And it actually didn’t disappoint. Our leads are supposed to be older and they actually act like it. With the exception of the occasional dumb idea, they’re both adults and as such have adult struggles and there’s a maturity that surrounds them. The relationship follows suit (once they actually get together) and it’s such a joy to watch them carry through their respective hardships together, supporting each other with understanding and affection.
This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it was certainly mine and it made up for the travesty that was Love O2O, so I’m content

the most poetic of dramas
this is one of the best thing I've watched in a while. Dilraba won my heart and Yang Yang proved once more that why he's my favourite! I absolutely loved it! In this drama, you can actually feel the emotions the characters were feeling. The leads were so mature! Mature enough to dodge their toxic exes. Dilraba carried her role so beautifully, it seemed like it was God's grace. Yang Yang being the cold and tsundere type, just what suits him, did his part with utmost professionalism and vigour. The side characters were just chef's kiss! I am always open to watch this again and again because this will never get old! this was such a heavenly piece of art that I can't get enough of itEsta resenha foi útil para você?
A romance in more ways than one - best modern Cdrama
This is my first romcom cdrama and I'm afraid the bar has been set too high, I've been making my way through some of the other recommendations but nothing quite comes close!Initially I thought that 32 eps is way too long for a drama (I'm very used to kdrama romcoms) and when the characters get together around the halfway mark, I was wondering what more of the story they could possibly show and whether it would get draggy. But after completing all episodes with multiple rewatches I can honestly say it was not long enough!! I've come to appreciate being able to soak in that happy ever after (kdramas always compress this into the last ep) over multiple episodes (including a wedding and multiple time-jumps) - it is truly a luxury.
I initially came to this drama because of my interest in esports. There is gaming and it plays a large role in the plot especially in the first 10 episodes, but it's more of a plot device to let the leads re-acquaint themselves with each other and get together. I did find the 2 competition episodes quite realistic and very exciting.
On the cast, this was my first Yang Yang drama and I'm now a forever fangirl. I thought that he was perfect for the role, his character says the most ridiculously romantic things in a very serious and intense way. Actually, everything Yu Tu does is generally quite stoic and intense, and when he decides to pursue Jing Jing he naturally becomes this intense and serious romantic dude as well lol. Yang Yang just has oodles of charisma and the way he carries himself with such confidence really works for these type of 'da shen' roles. He's nailed the art of deadpan hum-bragging and subtle arrogance that never quite crosses the line into cockiness. His chemistry with Reba was off the charts, and honestly was one of the main reasons why this drama is imho now one of my favs and so rewatchable. I know that a lot of this is also down to Reba herself and how she made Jing Jing's character so natural. Their interactions and all those small moments were very nicely done.
Another thing this drama does excellently was really the dialogue. All the dialogue between the leads was very well done, engaging, witty and funny. I found myself smiling at my screen stupidly throughout entire episodes. There are numerous instances where they banter, tease and joke which was very well written and consistently good throughout the drama. It is probably because the author of the novel also happens to be the screenwriter, but the quality of the script was really very very good. I must confess however that I did fast-forward through some of the aerospace testing parts (summary: Yu Tu spends entire episodes on some desert base brooding about Jing Jing and being depressed while doing scienc-y stuff) but I liked how the show ended with the launch of Yu Tu's space... probe? thingy (sorry! It was not an area of interest). It really drove home the culmination of his dreams, which he held on to, and Jing Jing's unwavering support for him. A romantic concept for a romantic profession.

A glorious feeling
Mature characters, realistic and honest love story, electrifying chemistry. Two people from extraordinary worlds fall in love and support each other like ordinary couples. There are no "villains" like how everyday life doesn't really have villains. There are no filler characters or plots. Every support character and backstory serves a purpose and are integrated into the story well. There are no unnecessary sidetracks or distractions. Thank you! There are no life-altering twists or conflicts to facilitate character building. Thank you again! Not every character building needs such events. Sometimes it's something that happens organically in fleeting moments. Emotions are conveyed through actions, not words. A lot is spoken without the need for many words. I loved the subtle expressions of love and understanding. Not everything needs to be said. It's usually understood.
I love Yu Tu's story arc and how it comes full circle. His ups and downs through the story hit close to home for many people. Jing Jing is the support system he needed. I love how he realizes it and then embraces it wholeheartedly. Her desire to see him achieve his dreams is as genuine as it gets. Yu Tu before and after Jing Jing is like night and day. Though a lot of the story may seem like it centers around Yu Tu's struggles and growth, Jing Jing is the highlight character for me. A cheerful, independent, strong-willed, down to earth, genuinely caring, and absolutely stunning woman. Dilreba lives and breathes her. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a single moment. Yang Yang seemed a little too stiff for me in the first 10 episodes or so. But seeing how he portrayed the hesitancy to accept QJJ and then eventually pursuing her, and his other side "after QJJ" makes me think the first one-third was his interpretation of YT's character. That's fine with me. QJJ's weight gets mentioned a few too many times for my liking. But it's the industry she is in and that's how the world, unfortunately, works whether we like it or not.
Once YT and QJJ get together it's sugar overload. There are enough swoonworthy moments in the show to last you a few months of rewatch. Their chemistry is off the charts both on screen and off screen. I had a broad smile plastered on my face throughout the YT-QJJ together phase of the show. Two stunning looking people being all forms of adorable together.
Some people may find the aerospace parts boring. I have an interest in the field so I found it engaging. I am not sure if you can really call the gaming part boring because that's where all the falling in love happens. If you are someone who looks for grand gestures, you will not get it. Everything is subtle. If you are looking for a fast-paced, love at first sight kinda story, this is not it. It's what people would call a slow burn romance. But isn't all love slow burn? You meet, spend time together, understand and respect each other, and then fall in love. Like how YT and QJJ do. Their relationship is mature, honest, healthy, and realistic, especially everything around the long distance part I can attest to firsthand.
Only memorable OST for me was the opening credits one. I can recognise one other OST vaguely. I don't remember much else.
Special mention to YT's mom. Her giggling when she meets QJJ for the first time will be something that will make me smile every time I think about it. Also, Xiao Zhu I think was all of us watching YT and QJJ together. Handwritten letters were such a nice touch. The animations during their LDR were cute.
Overall the show gives off a happy, fulfilling, glorious feeling which I fully embraced amidst these objectively not-so-great times.

Very sweet and light drama
I love this drama a lot. Very fluffy and light. I love how there isn't huge crisis in the drama. I love that all of the characters are very mature. I love the way Yu Tu's character is written. He is a very proud man but willing to unlearn things for his loved ones. I love the way they showed him being a proud man and feeling insecure with his income when compared to the FL. I love that the professor made him realized that no matter how much he earns as an engineer he will never be richer than FL so he should stop with his lame excuse of not being able to give something to her. And I love that he realized it's his own job to make himself feel like a man and it's not Jingjing's job to make him feel he's enough. I love that he accepts that and fixed the way he sees things. I love every part of this drama.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
One of the Best C Drama I have ever watched!!!!!
Right from the start the way story revolves around leads interestingly. These are the main reasons why this differ from other dramas
Great acting from both leads with sizzling chemistry
↠No external problems, stupid misunderstandings, conflicts, the portrayal of a very healthy relationship.
↠The story and characterization are realistic with witty dialogues.
↠Inspirational story giving some important life lessons! but we aren't missing humor too
↠Focused on leads, so screentime doesn't get distributed on supporting roles or any side couple.
↠So many sweet and heart-fluttering moments.
↠No annoying, and unrealistic, over-the-top characters. Very likable leads. But not perfectionists.
↠Many gaming-related scenes in the start and aerospace-related scenes in the middle part of the drama. (in case if you aren't interested in both of them)
↠The flow of the story is very slow in the initial episodes, and it can be boring for someone.

Realistic and mature
Loved Yu Tu, our High IQ King, and Jingjing, our High EQ Queen, together. They had such a beautiful, respectful and mature relationship full with mutual understanding for each other. The couple was so domestic and intimate, it was so fun watching them together.I wish we got more scenes of them at the end such as starting a family and taking care of their kids etc.
Overall, I really loved the pacing of the drama and how we got to see adult characters behave their age and communicate with one another. Their relationship was so healthy and I hope we get to see more of these types of characters in other dramas.

This has to be one of the best Chinese Rom-Com "modern day" drama that ever existed
I've been a fan of Yang Yang since the Love O2O airs and finally he's doing RomCom drama. I too am a fan of Dilraba herself, so this drama is the perfect combination of the 2 actors I admire.Firstly when I came to this drama, the synopsis turned me off a little bit since it's a gaming drama. For me personally, I grew up not knowing how to play electronic/computer games - as it is banned within the family, thus watching dramas that have game-themed story can be really challenging for me to understand. But this drama proves me wrong, I was able to follow along the drama and enjoyed watching it too.
Let me start by breaking down the characters:
- The characters are seriously one of the best Chinese television has portrayed. Not to be harsh nor judgemental, but coming from my years of watching dramas experience, female leads are sometimes, if not, often portrayed as weaker than men or as the drama often specify it as "rich man poor woman" --> and there is in fact a drama that is titled that way too! I always strive for equality between FL and ML character.
Hence this drama is the combination I was looking for - a well balanced 2 leads. Both Male and Female are good in their own ways. Though the male lead isn't necessarily rich, but he's very smart - might even call him genius. The female lead is successful, famous and makes a lot of money.
- I also love how the female lead is very mature in my opinion. She may not be mature all the time based on her actions, but what I mean is the female lead isn't portrayed as "the-girl-who-tries-too-hard-to-be-cutesy" type by making baby noises - as many Chinese dramas female leads/actresses use baby noises to the point where it is nauseating.
- The lead actors (Yang Yang and Dilraba Dilmurat) are soooo pleasant to look at, I mean, what more can I say, they basically have museum statues visuals.
As for the story:
- I love the love story between the 2. I admit, this drama isn't something revolutionary in terms of originality - which is a typical love story between 2 leads who met by coincidence after many years, one being the other's first love. But because of good script and story writing, this drama deserves all the hype and success they have.
- The story doesn't have heavy melodramatic moments, which I love. Very light-hearted and easy to watch.
- As for the love story between the 2, it's enough to make me feel lonely because of how jealous-worthy they are.
- The duration of this drama is considered a mini-series in Chinese dramas, only 32 episodes - 30 mins each. Thus, this drama can be considered binge-worthy for all of you binge-watchers. Very brief and not too exaggerated.
For the rewatch value, I give it a 10, boy you don't even want to know how many times I've watched this drama. I seriously have a problem.

This drama is everything I needed in 2021!
What a ride! This drama was amazing, by all means. I haven't enjoyed a Chinese drama this much before, let's just put it out there. The acting and storyline are some god-tier stuff. However, since I don't have any constructive feedback to throw out there, I will tackle mainly the things that I loved most about this drama. Can we take a minute to appreciate the small gestures they were doing for one another, like when he got her the double-Penta kills but didn't mention 'em to her, or like when he bought her a piece of Baozi when he visited his friend in the hospital and just casually handed it to her without having to let her know that he got her the damn bread even though she didn't ask for it, and can we also talk about how she's invested in his field only to understand his dream and the things that he gravitates towards, but like, she NEVER told him, " know so much about aerospace, that's how much I love you!"? THEY FUCKING GET EACH OTHER WITHOUT HAVING TO UTTER SHIT, and this aspect is hella apparent when she went to her classmates' gathering when in her hometown ONLY to meet him. He immediately got it and hurried to the gathering as well, like, what in the rom-com world? On the other hand, I quite loved the pace of the drama. Some might find it rather slow, but it was perfect for me, and the episodes weren't that long, which fit amazingly well. Finally, given how beautiful this drama is, I will surely be watching and re-watching it in the future. And please, the gods of dramaland, make this pair work together again because their chemistry is over the top.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Nothing to see here
This drama did not need 32 episodes. I think the manufacturers just wanted to drag out the series so they could earn money from the fanbase the couple has. After episode 21, this drama could have ended with absolutely nothing lost from the storyline. As an epilogue, we could have had episodes 31 and 32 as episodes 22 and 23 but that's it. There was really nothing to see outside of how JJ and YT got together. Everything else was FANSERVICE. This is why I gave this series such a low rating. I loved the chemistry between the leads but when they started feeding me sweet interactions with zero storyline, the chemistry I loved quickly got old.The rewatch value for me is simply a 0. I can't rewatch this because there's nothing to see.
