Han Seok lets nothing stand in his way of revenge. Seeking justice the Mafia way, Vincenzo gives his enemies a slow and painful death. (Source: Netflix)
I love this drama. Song Joong Ki a perfect person, his acting, voice so impressive. His so adorable man. I don't think song Joong Ki has so much hater. All actor/actress acting are good in this drama.
I did not understand this ending.I read that this drama it is tagged as comedy, law etc., but if the screenwriters went in the direction of having a romantic couple I don't understand why they provide us just a last kissing scene and the idea that they will meat again if she will follow him on his island.Really he need an entire year to stay way and to come back just for one night? He left with no gold in his pocket, but he managed to pay a lot of money to mafia and he boght an island, but he didn't speak with nobody entire year in order to get his gold? This ending left a bitter taste, even that the actors were so good, the script and some scenes ruined apart from their work.
One of the best kdrama ever watched in 2021. I really loved this drama so much that I just can’t get the scenes out of my mind. The story, action, thrill, crime, suspense everything was just perfect. Even every bit of acting by amazing actors, amazing OST’S and background music were all just so perfect and amazing. It is a must watch kdrama at least once you may watch it many times as it never makes you get bored. Mostly I was shocked with many twists and turns in the drama. Suddenly unexpected things happen and I was really shook totally. I was also shook listening to song joong gi speaking Italian so meaningfully and looked so cool when he spelt each word, ah! It’s so satisfying. Love from my side to the entire team of Vincenzo who made this drama a success , I really feel so proud to a fan of this amazing.
Everything about it was well done. ML was antihero from start to finish. Romance did not bug the story down at all. Loved FL too. Every issue was brought properly to conclusion. I could really see that the show cost 20 billion. Also, the screenwriter, director, and entire cast down to the wardrobe did not waste the investment. I barely skipped anything. If i skipped it is cos i got a bit squeamish to see some things unfold. The villain was well thought out too. The female villain really was a villain. Totally worth a future rewatch. May take in all the finer details next watch. Only downside is that the morale of the story is that villainy cannot be punished by the standard justice system. It leaves normal folk somewhat hopeless as normal people do not role with Mafia boss. Plus, mafia is almost painted positively. Almost, which is not really a good thing. Nevertheless, as a work of fiction, it was excellently executed.
I don't know what other people were expecting for the last episode, however, it was consistent with the reality of a mobster. a mobster will never stop being a mobster unless he makes a big deal with the government and the justice (which is very rare, actually). still, they are in danger of being killed. so it’s more advantageous to stay in the mafia. with that in mind, it is more than reasonable for Vincenzo to stay in another country and find a way to tell Hong Cha Young that he likes her and that he expects her to visit. more than that would be very illusory. I liked that they leave open the possibility of a second season, which may well be possible. I will not comment on the fight and flight scenes because since the beginning of the series, almost all of them are unrealistic. but it is acceptable the way an Italian mobster was portrayed, after all, it is a drama, lol. and, as someone of Italian descent, I can say that I loved this drama. there is nothing that has offended me. I also loved the performance of Song Joong Ki, which I didn't know before (yes, I never saw Descendants of the Sun and I don't believe I will have the patience to watch it, lmao).
I am sorry I am not satisfied with the ending ... nothing changes .. so many people is dead and vincenzo is doing what he was doing.. so what? everythng keeps on repeating and people keep dying !and they seriously didn't care to show respect for Han Seo... they could at least buy a row in his name in that vineyard!and that tenant mr. lee he was severely bleeding from his upper abdomen(surely not from his leg) but that nutria patched some gauge in the leg and he survives?? wow!this whole episode just made me angry and angry and angryyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm so in love with this kdrama !Vincenzo never tried to change himself , he accepted the fact that he's a villain and did something good out of it .we FINALLY got another kiss scene ;)
This show made me cry and laugh and kept me entertained, but the last four episodes were the weakest in the show. It could've wrapped up everything in episode 16, until then it was a 10 for me and really one of the best. So, why it's not a 10 anymore? ...The leads were great but the star for me wasn't them, the star of the show is the plaza gang, they are the best ever. So, I was really angry they didn't get any gold. I also didn't like that the innocent people who belt the vault were killed because of Vincenzo and it wasn't addressed. The villains were no fun, they were stupid and no match for the lead, very underwhelming. And the fiasco when Vinc was trying to save the FL, very not him, so dumb.Another thing, he did get away with everything he did since day one, so why only now the camera caught him kidnapping whatever her name (the actress did a great job btw), so buying and settling in an island and waiting for Cha Young to visit was a very bad choice for the ending for me.It's all so they could show us the cool 'not that cool' monologue of him. Don't get me wrong, I like Vincenzo, but he was too idolised in late episodes for it to be acceptable. I wanted the purpose of the show to be the people not Vincenzo. The actor was good but the things Jung Kyung Ho could have done to the role, he would've put us on fire!!Still, I love the show, it was thrilling, very funny and sometimes sad with a little bit of romance. That's the perfect combination in a show for me. With that cast and chemistry, it was amazing!!
The first episode of the show was confusing because there were too many characters mentioned and you can't tell instantly what the plot is. Later on, as the episodes progressed, it created a big impact on me. I thought that this show was worth looking forward to because of how Vincenzo executes all of his plans. Adding to the fact that the main villain hasn't been revealed yet, the suspense really stayed in me. The people in Geumga plaza had too much screen time and their humor is really not up to my liking. Each episode should not be 1 hour and 20 minutes long, they kept adding scenes to the people in the plaza which really did not contribute much to the plot. When the main villain was revealed, I really had this expectation that he would act for himself. But that only happened in episode 20. He kept clinging to Wusang, he makes them do the dirty work for him and what's even funnier is that he kept sending bad men to pursue Vincenzo and all of them were easily beaten because it took them a while to fire their gun or attack him instantly? There were a lot of plot armor which do not seem realistic. He was also overly praised for being a consigliere. They created this suspense at the beginning and it vanished when they started adding some random scenes from side characters. Vincenzo also admitted that he could have taken down Hanseok at the beginning but didn't because he wanted to prolong their struggle.I'm giving it a score of 6.5 because Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeobeen are great actors and their chemistry is great. The plot is so-so.
SPOILERS BELOW!!!The ending of episode 19 made so happy that I waited for episode 20 because the way it left us was just cruel. I mean Hong Cha-Young getting shot?! And things didn't get better when the final episode began, everything just got from terrible to absolutely to sh*t!!! I just have to say how much I loved the character development of Jang Han-Seo , I just love his relationship with Vinzenzo and how they are like actual brothers. I cried so much when Han-Seo stood up to his brother and he shot him. When he was saying how thankful he was to Vincenzo who was there for him like nobody in his life ever was, I was balling 😭😭😭 and when Vincenzo told him how he deserved to be his little brother, my heart shattered 😭. Now episode 20, so many things happened, so much action, so much death. I loved how Vincenzo finally put an end to Jun Woo and Choi Myung Hee!!! I hated them so much, but I guess that mean that the actors did an fantastic job pertaining these characters. Also the time jump, 1 year later. I knew that they had to show us a Vincenzo and Cha-Young scene and what we got was just...more than anything I could have hoped for. The KISS was just everything I was so happy 🥰🥰🥰Also Vincenzo's final monologue was just phenomenal 💯
Love it. Yes some of our favorites died but that’s how life is in reality. It was still a masterpiece. Vincenzo gave us quite a ride. This episode gave us true redemption in Hanseo, final andjust vengeance for the real culprits.
