D.P. (2021)

TG remind me much of drama D.P which also centered around bullying but with different setting as it happened in military premise .IMO, the bullying aspect in D.P was more hardcore, dark , gory than the one shown in TG.

They are both have a similar feel even though plot is different.
D.P is about abuse and corruption in the military and alot of the cases are heavy emotionally like juvenile justice.
But the are both similar on how the cases work etc.
If you liked Juvenile Justice then I am sure that you will like D.P

Both focus on finding and solving missing person cases. Both main character have some trauma. If you loved the detective and mystery elements in this its a good watch. Missing Noir M is only 12 episodes so it is a short drama.

Like D.P., Search is a military drama with a ML currently completing his mandatory military service. It also centers around a team of soldiers which is given specific missions. Finally, it breaks away from the typical 16-episode format.

Both are military-themed. Even though they're quite different when it comes to the plot, D.P. is an excellent drama and I would highly recommend watching it.

- both struggle through their trainings lead by their seniors
- D.P. is probably a bit darker than Rookie Cops

The two deals with mandatory military in a very harsh way, D.P. is dark with some comedy, The Coast Guard is bleak and crazy.

Both are South Korean dramas that deal with the difficult subject of abuse of power in the military.

One of the short films in "All About My Father" depicts severe military abuse similar to what is also depicted in "D.P."

Although D.P. is a shorter series than CLOY, it is just as good. CLOY centres around the FL building her relationship with the ML, whereas D.P. showcases the different stories of military defectors with every episode. Both dramas are centred around the military; however, they differ as CLOY focuses on how the FL tries to escape North Korea and D.P. focuses on how South Korea military try to escape for various reasons.

Honestly there aren't that much background / story similarities between the dramas. DOTS is longer, has romance, is more epic, etc. It's just army-centered for both.

But they gave me a similar vibe. Something in the emotions I felt while watching those really felt the same.

When I watched D.P, I made a break in the middle just to rewatch DOTS, and I liked it, so I wanted to share it.

They have a similar premise. Both are about military deserters, and they even have similar reasons for deserting.
